June 13 2022 update. It was working well-ish for a couple of weeks, but now (again), no port management across all of my sites. I'm connected directly to the controller IP. "failed to load port configuration" on switches located on the same L2 network as the controller, as well as L3 adopted switches at remote locations. I'd ask if it could get any worse, but I don't want the devs at Ubiquiti to see that as a challenge.

Worked great for several years, until recently. I am not a pro IT manager. Though I love the product, permits us to move seamlessly from one part of the property to another without losing connectivity, and ability to monitor network activity through the cloud key, I have always found setup confusing and complicated. Now I'm made to install a "network update" before I can connect via this app. My cloud key, switch, and radios are all up to date. Now I need to research what "new network" means.

Really hoped it would have the AR feature touted on there website. Sadly it appears that is only for iOS devices. Real shame it did not disclose that before purchasing. Would help a lot in the situation I am in. Everything else seems to work as it should. There are a few features that I would like the controller software to have, but this just the app that talks with it. EDIT: Almost a year later and still not a hint of the AR feature coming to android. Lowering rating.

Good enough to do a few things, but is missing things or I just can't find them (which would be poor design). I can see clients, but it seems like it's only active clients and not all configured clients. Ubiquiti does a decent job on some fronts, but I feel like they make it so hard to do basic things.

The app has stopped working properly again, it will connect, but shows no adopted devices and "unexpected errors". Log into the web portal and everything works (after some recent issues here as well). The Unifi system is good when it works, but it has a mind of its own and will quit working properly periodically for no reason. Really I recommend using something else.

Doesn't support much, only a few stats can be seen, and no configuration can be modified. UI navigation is indifferent, and layout doesn't fit well on mobile devices. But the icons and buttons are very visually appealing, even though they serve very little purpose. And the app is stable I guess.

Since my initial review, I've installed a controller on a home server. Things are much faster and I have more control. Biggest issue is if a device falls off the controller, it's hard to bring it back with the interface. Original review: Good but REALLY slow.

4.6 Stars. The constant firmware updates offer more than they create problems. I think the new GUI is the best I've seen in 15 years in IT from any vendor. The lack of effort required to obtain net and device info, make on the fly changes to networks/vlans, cascade changes to other ubiquiti devices and deploy APs, as well as the camera systems (haven't used access or phones yet) is unparalleled in my experience. Overall it is a great package they are always improving.

App was a joy to use all this time. However some recent issue seems to have broken my ability to block a port. Android app. Visit my USW-16 Lite's device section, click on a port and then switch it's profile to 'Disabled'. The 'Save' button/link on top-right is greyed out, when I return to previous page, it asks if I want to discard changes. Profile change does not stick.

i love this app as the functionality lines up with the web interface. it is frustrating when you can download an app for device management and it is ridiculously stripped down, looking at you ecobee. keep up the great work. couplig this with their new wifiman app has helped me get a better insight into my environment without needing this and multiple other apps.

I've been using the UniFi App for a little over year non and it has been amazing for my uses thus far. UniFi cloud access turned on I'm able to view my network from anywhere over my LTE data connection. Able to run speed tests, check settings, see what UniFi devices are online, the DHCP clients and do firmware updates. I haven't attempted to setup a network from scratch with the app, because I don't see several of the fundamental settings. All in all good app, always getting improving.

This app is great and functions well for my needs. Not buggy for me but I'm not a power user with it. I instead prefer using my laptop or RDP into my jumpbox to get to the WebUI which is by far better but that doesn't take away from this apps main functionality. Simply put you'll be able to manage your Unifi Network and network gear wherever you are if you have the CK. Some options are not as intuitive to get to over the WebUI but let's be honest, the mobile app comes close and just works well.

Great app, authentication, interface, and features to match really solid hardware for the price. The WAN uptime metric doesn't appear to be accurate - if I lose connectivity to the controller it resets. Also badly need to be able to set time windows when viewing metrics (last hour, day, week, etc).

Great app, great products, great support when needed. For the most part the best thing that can be said about the UniFi line of products is it just works. Having been referred to the products by a colleague i have been impressed with the ease of setup and that it is largely plug in and it works.. In the past i have deployed several other wireless solutions in medium and small businesses as well as homes and this has been one of the lowest cost and easy to install ones i have used.

I love the new look, but the implementation is poor. Unfortunately this appears to be the case with too many new Ubiquiti features. Specifically I speak to the push notifications which are great, except that clicking on them does not take you to the actual notification or related site, nor does there appear to be any way to turn them off, or customize the notification method. So now I get useless notifications all the time from various sites, reminding me hourly of this app's deficiency.

Can't believe how bad the UX of this app is. Just a few examples: Internet traffic is updated every fraction of a sec and constantly changing unit between kbps and Mbps making it impossible to read. Some clients connected directly to the UDM are not showing in the client list, others are showing with completely wrong stats. So basically, whatever the app shows, u can't trust it. Many settings are not accessible via the app at the same time as the Web interface is impossible to use on mobile.

The app was great before the updates in December. And the latest update didn't fix the issues. One item that got removed was the ability to sort the clients by their signal connection speed, which helps you diagnose weak areas in your network or potential places for needing better coverage. Right now there is no way to tell what the client connection rate is without using the web interface on the controller .

Wish it worked. I was all set to go for a complete Ubiquiti network of access points etc, but between this app and the Java based controller software I have been unable to get my first piece of equipment operational. Sad. Reportedly the app does not have as many options as the software. I can't tell because neither of them are working.
