This app uses Accessibility permission to assist disabled and other users stop all background apps with just one tap.

The app is useless now that they removed the hidden cache cleaner (unless you pay). News flash you really dont have to clean it any longer as Android handles it. Cleaning it in later versions was just for the perfectionist crowd, so yet again Avast you shot yourself in the foot... and before you give a generic response and say well it costs us to make it, I have a very good feeling that if you stopped with all the animations, trying to steal people's data, adding bloatware and every other bit of nonsense that you add to these apps, then you would spend a lot less time maintaining them... The fact that Avast charges for some of the things the app does is so scummy. Just make ONE APP that does ALL phone maintenance and security. It's not f***ing hard to figure out. If you want to put ads on it, banner ads on the bottom, the key board should cover it when open. This almost 2019 and y'all are still being stupid, as if you haven't been in the game as long as you have.

Unfortunately, this app isn't as good as I expected. The particular issue I'm having is with the battery saver, which sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. For example, I was at work yesterday, and it didn't turn on like it should've because of the set location condition. Today, it turned on at work and then turned off later for some reason. Also, it turned on for a low-battery condition when my battery was nowhere near the percentage I set. This app needs to be fixed.

This app is identical to AVG Antivirus/Cleaner. But it is more graphics intensive, so it looks more attractive... but overall, same, exact coverage and protection. Which is to say, excellent security for your device! 11/08/21 UPDATE - I changed phones, now using a POCO F3. Nice phone. Had to reload my apps. Now this cleaner won't just shut down the numerous apps it could force stop. It's showing me each one, separately, and it's frustrating. It used to just close them, now it doesn't.

This app cleans so much faster than the previous Cooler 2021 app I thought was so good. Avast keeps apps turned off so they're not running in the background using up the battery and turning on again constantly-- so you always have to return to redo it. When I first bought my new phone, I had problems getting my premium version started because I bought it from the Google Play Store--a mistake I won't make again, but the staff sorted the problem out and got my Subscription going! Yeah team Avast!

my phone was super slow and cluttered before i and id uninstalled pretty much every app except for the factory defaults that i couldn't and maybe 2 social medias. i decided to take a chance with this and was shocked how well it worked, i now have nearly 4gb of free space, compared to when i started with only a few hundred mb it made a world of difference in performance speed and not having to worry about choosing which apps to get rid of if i need to install a new one.

This cleaning app is the best cleaning app that I've ever used! My phone has been driving me insane for months with it's "Storage space running critically low?", I tried everything and nothing worked! I'm a computer tech and technology enthusiast. I've loved Avast for years. I just now started using Avast Cleanup for my phone and I'm still impressed! The UI is wonderful, clean, and intuitive. What I would do to get a job with them... The ads ARE NOT invasive what so ever. It can hibernate apps, kill apps, and gives you a very easy to understand break down of how it can assist. Get it, use it, love it. Forget about the other apps which come from Devs you've never heard of. Stick with the Pros.

Do not buy the premium. This app still has the same bugs from Hemmaroid OS 8, 9 and 10. Photo optimizer took over an hour for a number of reasons: 1. Mixes up all your photos does not keep them in order by date thus if you have thousands of photos, good luck. 2. Makes duplicates photos on its own ruining your storage capacity and if there erased it just makes more with a different kb or mb size. 3. Confirm didn't work half the time a the process had to be restarted. 4. Mixed optimized images.

Cleans more than you think. I haven't gotten any notifications that someone has called me or left a voice message for several months. I have a Samsung 8 note. I run Avast clean up based on a friends advice. Later on I received a call that I couldn't answer. When I checked my phone about an hour later, I was notified that someone called. That's awesome!

There is no longer any difference between AVG, AVG Lite and Avast cleaners. Everything but the icon is identical. And the most useful feature - that already only worked about 60% of the time - has been moved to Pro version. If you're using this or either of the AVG apps, you're wasting your time. And if you buy the pro version, you're also wasting your money. Absolute scam. Worse than useless.

Is okay. It works better than some other apps I've tried. But far from perfect which is why I only give it 3 stars. When you hit the boost button to force close apps and boost ram SOMETIMES it works and then you click the back button to see all the same apps that were supposed to be closed are still open. Super frustrating especially when I have the paid version. It is however very good at cleaning memory like cashe files old apps and blurry photos. Could be a great app but needs some work.

Free but deserving ofpayment. Ive been using this antivirus for a very, very long time and on multiple devices over the years, it truly is the very best out there. Not only does it have strong active shields to block in real time, it has an amazing scanner. They didn't just stop there. They have put together a top notch customer service team. I've forgotten over the years about a charge coming out after a trial for the full version. They are able to understand and get me taken care of quickly.

Used to be good. There is so much pop up garbage- an advertisement that fills up your entire screen and you cannot get rid of without hitting your "home button". Very disappointing and unprofessional. I just uninstalled it and changed my review & rating here. Update. Seeing their reply just now, I did have the paid version! When I got a new phone, I could not get it to transfer over and their customer support is impossible to get in touch with. I gave up!

For months I've been fighting with my phone just to send voice notes! I would delete some pictures and videos, clear my cache and with a few MBs freed, I would go about my business until my phone started groaning again. But this app has changed this pattern. I can't believe how much space it has afforded me. Yesterday I had 31/32 GBs used and now I'm down to 20/32 and it's still going! It's awesome! Highly recommend.

The ads are fairly unobtrusive and don't pop up at inopportune times during the cleaning process. They are easy to close and continue on. And actually, the ads are typically interesting and related to financial concerns. You may actually end up seeing something pertinent and clicking on the link. As far as the quality of the cleaner itself, I wouldn't rate it as the best ever (certain features are not available unless you pay for upgrade) but that being said it is still a worthwhile tool.

I'm conflicted. it does good job cleaning BUT ads are getting way too intrusive. it will lock your phone for 30 seconds while a loud ad plays etc. Interface is not intuitive. Seems like they are getting more strident about getting you to upgrade to pay version. Considering trying an alternative.UPDATE: I have no issue with putting up with a small ad to "pay" for my use of the app. what I object to is having my phone hyjacked for 30 seconds while some inane commercial plays. 5 to 7 seconds ok.

[UPDATE: I figured a way around the problem I was having. I simply cycled my device off, then back on. When I do that, it works beautifully.] Easy to use, and fast. However, when i try to hibernate apps, it freezes, and i have to exit and restart the app. Didn't do that before. Avast developer responded quickly, but w/fixes that didn't help.
