Feedback (since there doesn't seem to be a way to provided via the app): it would be great if you had a view that showed the purchase price that I paid next to the current price. I find myself always switching between screens in order to determine if I'm at a profit or a loss on a given stock. I would never consider putting significant dollars into this app because of this issue.

App gets buggy and has has server errors and can prevent you from placing trades. At times, you won't be able to execute trades. The setup is straightforward and easy. UI makes for easy navigation, trading, & notifications. Good investing app but fails to provide adequate information for research & analysis on a stock, especially for new investors.

The ads kill the otherwise great app. I started using this app several weeks ago and have had relatively no issues. I even signed up for their gold membership. I like the interface and the related linked articles. I don't like the significant delays in money transfers but I understand they can only do so much about that. What really irritates me is the forced ads that pop up and cover the entire screen when reading a article, usually Bazinga related, and no way to close it.

It was mostly good until I needed customer support. This app made getting into investing simple and the UI was very friendly. I'd give it 4 stars if it wasn't for the difficulties I've had working with the customer support. Navigating the app to find customer support was not great. Once I found it, contacting their support line to ask a specific question was painful. Finally, as I was able to ask a specific question, the answer I received was not helpful.

Non-existent phone support. They messed up my account transfer resulting in a large negative balance in the destination that I'm still trying to contact them to fix while having to pay interest on the negative balance in the meantime. The app is bare bones with little research tools. It also has poor trade performance. Ok for beginners who want to dip their toes into the stock market with a few bucks. Otherwise look elsewhere!

Good for beginners to get used to the market but is lacking some very simple and useful features such as price alerts, allowing stop loss and take profit orders simultaneously, or technical indicators on charts. Have had multiple issues with the app not being available in high volume volume trading days, resulting in losses. Plus it is very common for it to glitch out and show you missing money, only to update later to put it back with no indication as to what happened.

Ever since I first tried to 'Switch' this app to my new phone it has not worked correctly, nothing has worked. I am constantly encountering authentication errors, the app crashes repeatedly, and checking the app versus the website shows that even when the app appears to be functioning, the value of my holdings is not being represented accurately. I don't understand how this is possible.

It's great for what it does (free trading in the stock market), but it won't let you turn off push notifications. No matter how many times you select off in the settings menu (then back out and check settings again just to make sure) they magically turn back on 5 minutes later. Because of that one annoying feature (I can't control the app, it's debugged on) I will be uninstalling. If they ever fix that glitch I'll reconsider using it again

App is user friendly, has alot of info and has potential. I absolutely hate their fees, extremely high. The worst part is that they sometimes shut down certain stocks, meaning you can't buy. They usually do it when price is increasing ridiculously fast. Oh and the app crashes alot. I can't access my account because it crashes within 5 seconds. I see that's a common issue.

The app was appealing because it had intuitive UI and low barrier to entry. I thought it would be an easier alternative to a traditional brokerage. But they were unable to deliver the freedom to trade where the traditional brokerages allowed it. It turns out a more institutional app like Fidelity was just as easy to install and that's where I'll keep my investments moving forward. Great concept but I can't trust it and its older peers are just as convenient even if a little more intimidating.

While this app is easy to use and navigate, that is where the positive aspects end. If you want any sort of information beyond the current price or a graph with no discernible axes, you are out of luck. But the really bad part came when I was locked out of buying a security when I wanted to, losing me thousands of potential dollars. To be absolutely clear, this was not an "error" or possibly a glitch. I received a message stating that buying was intentionally disabled. After this and other issues I received absolutely zero response from Robinhood after many e-mails with questions. E-mail is the only way provided to contact them for support. After months, I have still heard nothing from them. Steer clear, there are many better, more reputable, brokers out there.

Have seen many people online warn of issues with options trading but never had a problem until recently. Opened a couple of SPY option spreads. After a couple days I was ready to get rid of them but my phone repeatedly froze when I selected the "close" button. I tried for 10-20 minutes before finally giving up and closing them both on a laptop. App was updated. Tried resetting app and phone(galaxy s7). Nothing worked. Trades were small in order to test the spreads. Now I know not to use them.

Overall a good app that breaks down the investment process. I looked and couldn't find any place to make these suggestions: 1. It would be excellent to have some option to "scrub a stock. So being able to see the specific stock value at any point of a visible graph 2. Have an option to look at the whole history of a stock, not just at most 5 years.

Great design and easy to use, when it works. The problem for me comes with the service interruptions, freezing of certain assets and a lack of or removal of many popular assets altogether. Also, I've tried several times to deactivate my account and have not been allowed to do so even once all prerequisites have been met. I cannot recommend this app at this time.

Good for beginners but it needs some improvements. Sometimes it has a glitch and my account jumps 100% up and down. That makes me feel the app is not reliable. The announcement board annoys me and I can't turn it off. I would prefer to have the indices so that I can see what the general market looks like. The watchlist list should ask me for yes/no confirmation and it shouldn't be deleted just by swapping.

This app would be perfect if it offered comprehensive historical data about profits and losses to date. Unfortunately, it only shows you how you've done with stocks you're currently holding. What's more, it doesn't display breakdowns and totals of your all time gains and losses in chart form. That data should also be customizable by various filters including, obviously, date ranges. Such a pity. Simplicity wasted

Dropped rating because of the new UI. It's a step in the wrong direction. Go back and make the changes you are trying to implement optional. Edit 20 May: Charts and data are now sluggish when updating and they update at different intervals. This is getting worse and worse. I'm going to start looking at another option. Edit 5 July: not much change. Moved my investments elsewhere. Good luck with the new direction and let me know when you go back to the working model. 30 Jan: Really glad I left...

It's good to start on. But I dunno. In dec 2019 they got pinged for not ensuring the best price possible, and they go out of their way to ensure you notice all price movement (a funny graph that encourages selling, ya know?). They have had multiple outages across time. Customer service isn't solid (you get what you pay for, though). There's a lot you can't buy through them. And if I automate trading, I get a bunch of error'ed orders often (it's an error on their side, I've checked). And more.
