Worked perfectly for a year. The minute I took money out, it stopped working. Now, I'm getting emails every other day to relink my accounts and my roundups stopped working. I've contacted support multiple times. The advice I got was, "Set up recurring payments." WHAT? I already do that. I want the roundups. That's literally the entire point of the app. So great when it works. Useless when it doesn't.

Good App But! It's an app that's easy to use, super easy to understand and a no brainer to set up. You do have to be careful with the personalized settings because just following the tutorial sets up the account to be completely automatic, a set it and forget it deal which is too hands off for me. I'd give a higher rating but the in-app notices for their other products are so pushy despite the fact that those options are already very visible whenever your on the app.

Awesome for beginners! If you want to be able to dip into the market using your spare change without having to learn the nitty-gritty of it yet, this is the app for you! You get asked a few questions on how you want save and how risky you want to play it before it determines a portfolio for you. It's got some caveats (like the monthly fee for example) but it's a great option to explore!

The app works as expected and is very good to invest money. But they originally offered a nice monthly fee and raised the cost after I had a lot of money invested. For the long term they may raise the fees again and you can't do anything about it. Before you start using this app consider if it's worth the risk of having a lot of money and then having no option but paying whatever new price they want because you don't wanna deal with closing your investment account and transferring the money.

Awful experience. like others I have been trying to upload personal information but get an error. I JUST want to delete my account and not deal with this app anymore but I am unable to. when I contacted customer service they were unable to help and now I feel at a loss. I've been avoiding blocking them from my bank account because it will accrue a fee but that's looking like the best option right now. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY.

This app used to be great! Save well over $1,000 in 8 months. Then I started having tech issues with the site, my card was lost, had to get a new one. So I deleted the card on file added a new one. Couldn't add the new one but said I had a card on file still in one screen. On another part of the site, it said I didnt. Explained all this in depth.... All they said to me was my bank was no longer supported??? I don't buy that. It worked before. It's the app that had a bug. I was having technical issues and thats all they said. I asked a slew of questions. So if I can no longer round up...it becomes somewhat useless to me. Customer service is severely lacking. Very minimal responses. Everytime I went to 'chat' no one was available. Hopefully you don't run into issues!

Change the app back. Your improvements are horrible. We can no longer see the breakdown of the total account. Go back to your platform where a person can see the total amount invested, total amount of dividend and total gain or loss all on one screen. Re: your response:. This screen still does not show total invested, total gain and loss and total dividends. The breakdown of what makes up the total investment is the only easy way to see a real time view of how the investments are performing

Horrible, just horrible. Idea is great and probably just the basic feature is fine. Tried using the other features and then it's just inconvenient and expensive compared to traditional banking. Most importantly it is the worst support team that I have ever had to work with. They locked me out for depositing checks and I sat in a parking lot for 3 hours waiting to shop after my account was unlocked but the support is worthless. Unless you have no other choice, don't!

please bring back manual round-ups! The automatic round-ups are hard to control and that's the biggest near dealbreaker for me. I would appreciate being able to round-up transactions to the nearest dollar and skipping round-ups for the existing whole dollar transactions. Other than that, interface is easy to use and acorns is a great app for beginner investors.

A good app, for most people. it's a very sound idea and I absolutely love the concept. I wrote a harsh review previously but modified it to better suit how I really feel. The app is clean, simple, and very very easy to use, and the auto investment makes it easy to manage at what ever risk level you wish. On aggressive I lost more than the overall market lost but it was very short term not the long haul that Acorns is built for.

This app and program were great. That is until I somehow got logged out. Now I cannot log back in to manage anything. I have requested a password reset many times but I never get the email from them. I have used the contact section to reset my password, I never get a reply. I would really like Acorns to fix this so that I can continue to use the program, and because it's still doing roundups and taking deposits.

I liked this service when I first started to use it. Then I signed up for the "later" and "spend" feature. I went from $1/ month to $3/ month. No problem as I waited for my spend debit card to arrive in the mail. Two months go by before it came. Then the app wouldn't let me add money to it. For months, I go back and forth with customer service, explained the error, ALL WHILE I'm being charged the $3 fee! Asked several times for a refund. They never fixed the problem so I closed the account.

I have been using this app for over 2 years and it has been nothing but a positive experience. It's a great tool for saving and learning a few things about investing. I love the option to change multiplier settings and lump sum deposits on top of choosing a style of portfolio. They really take out the guess work of stock trading and seem to do a good job, especially for $1/ month. It's great for short term goals like saving for vacation or a sweet new flatscreen.

Acorns is great, especially if you're not great at saving your money. But the app does not work on my phone, the Note 10+. The app constantly gives me an error that says it cannot connect to server, the end result being that I cannot log in. I called customer support and they couldn't fix it (I can't tell you how many times I had to tell them I don't use a VPN on my phone!). And when I tried to log in on the website, it would automatically launch the unusable app, so I just deleted the app.

This app is good for the beginner investor or someone who has trouble saving. The UI is actually really nice in color and navigation. I was once beginner but have started to choose what I invest in. The reason why I have no stars is because I am trying to close my account and cancel my subscription but that seems to be the only part of the app that does not work. Even after contacting the support team.

Fantastic app for saving money. Making saving into the most mindless task possible helps me to save. Automatically rounding up purchases to the nearest dollar and investing it is almost unnoticed when you buy things. With the flag rate pricing, you will want to invest a chunk of money at the beginning to make sure you can actually make money, but once you can make more than the fee, you're golden.

Since upgrading the app the round up feature is virtually useless as advertised. You cant chose what to round up. They are basically forcing you to do auto and round up everything. When asked about fixing it back to how it used to be I was told they were "talking" about it but not sure when that would happen. Loved the app before it was changed when I could look through ALL my transactions for possible round up.

Fine app, would be better if they actually got the promotional offers into the accounts. There is no way to really track the offers once you have completed them or tried to complete them, lost out on a few offers that I should gotten. The customer support was well below average and sounded like they had no idea what they were talking about. OK app if it is your secondary investments, don't expect it to work the way it is suppose to all the time. Kind of annoying.
