Not a bad for an introduction to investing, especially if you are in need of a checking account. Cost a dollar a month for its lowest tier, so i wouldn't consider it a great long term investment app. They usually have promotional offers that may help offset the cost, along with the stock back program that is terrific if they are your primary spending account. Worth a try

4.8 - app look and feel is very good. Navigation is fairly straightforward and the automatic funding transfers really make it easy to add to your account. I can't give it all 5 stars because there is a limitation on the investment choices available. Plenty to choose from but doesn't seem to offer the ability to invest in all vehicles - no options trading and not all stocks are available.

Easy to use and find investments. The tool that tells me when I need to diversify is incredibly helpful too. I also love the notifications of when dividends are received, so that was I can throw those few pennies back into a different investment. I know some people don't like change, but I love the redesign. It was clunky and frustrating before to be honest.

So far, there have been some hiccups with the software but nothing that gips financially. For days, I have been marking off specific questions or actions as complete and the system just won't register as complete. For example, STASH asks me to get ready to receive my card in the mail and to activate it. But I've always received and activated it, and it just doesn't seem to mark off as complete. Things like that. Other than that, I'm really enjoying the concept and service provided by STASH.

I opened an account with Stash in early 2017, it was a method for me to save money while earning some interest. I cashed out early in 2018. I never expected to have any other issues or interactions with the app. However, a couple of months ago Stash started charging me a $1 subscription payment fee. I log in and it turns out I had an outstanding interest payment of $.01 that was paid after I had cashed out. I contacted support to address the issue and close my account but they are unresponsive.

I have had nothing but great results with STASH. I save money and watch it grow with no hassle, albeit with a little effort and curious passion to learn. On a side note, the newer UI transition to a blue scheme was a good decision, in my opinion. What really matters is the "meat and potatoes," not just the UI. I think they have done a great job with that when it comes to investing made easy. With STASH, I was able to begin investing and create a portfolio with little money and know how.

I love how simple and easy the app is to navigate. I like the amount of detail this has so I can find all the info I need without needing to switch to my laptop. This app is fully functional alone. It really helps keep my savings on track because I like seeing what I've saved, and also by putting money in an investment vs a regular savings account, I'm far less likely to withdrawl any. I'm not gonna go through all the trouble to sell stock just for a few bucks. So once it's in stash, it stays!

Fantastic app for ETF investing. Left off 2 stars because of two issues. One minor,one major. Minor one is it's really time for a widget. Major issue is that there's an issue where if you're scrolling through your investments and then you select an investment to look at, when you return to the full list it takes you back to the top. Very annoying if you hold many investments. Add the widget and fix that one issue and it's a perfect app Edit 9/11/21 the issues I mentioned still exist.

I used to really enjoy the app. Not so much after the last couple of upgrades, if that's what you want to call them. The changes were downgrades. The bookmarks and performance tab were removed. The large, unnecessary and poorly placed graph at the top of the overview tab takes up too much space. The original graph was fine and didn't need any help. Nevertheless, Stash makes investing easy by offering the purchase of fractional shares that add up with small deposits.

Had the app for about 18 months now. ETF's are a nice way to save some money and earn a bit of a return on them as well. Not a bad way to save once you figure out where to Stash your money. It is a little slow getting your money out and they make it less obvious how to transfer the money back to your bank account. Obviously they want you to re-invest it. Overall, a good app. Would like to be notified when app update is required or atleast a landing page instead of the app just crashing...

Ok so overall really probably should be a 5 but one huge issue. Transactions take forever to process sometimes and then other times they go through at an acceptable speed. Timing is everything sometimes and the delay needs to be worked on. To set up your account is really simple and just in general the app is super user-friendly. With a little research online not a bad way to start saving for retirement for the ameture investor like me.

I originally rated low because I had a few issues in the beginning. Like not being able to move funds around after depositing money into acct. However, since getting everything verified, I've had no issues and would actually recommend this app if you want to start saving and investing. It's super simple, as there's many avenues of doing so.

Overall I'm mostly satisfied with Stash. The app is solid, manual and automatic transfers process without any issues, and I have never had an issue withdrawing my money. My only complaints are related to the almost monthly UI changes and how the interface is not tailored well to those with only a basic subscription. I do miss the old app version with the little investment articles and quizzes and stuff.

I like this app a lot and for someone who never invested before it makes it kinda simple. I'm no expert but it works for what it was intended for, long term investing. On the downsides, the stocks are not real time so you have to refresh to see the change, then there are also no widgets, also when you sell or buy you only get an estimate. Meaning prices can change and you don't know till you get a receipt. You also cant buy a full stock which I assume is due to the previous example.

While I like the idea of this. I really dislike the layout of the app and how it responds and shows the information. Like I really despise the way it shows my investments. A total redesign would be great. You guys dumbed it down too much. Also ...Why does the entire app close when I hit the back button once to go back one page. Running on a Note 8 on verizon.

BEWARE. Once you sign up you can't cancel unless you call. They're currently experiencing such high call volume they just hang up on you. Auto- Stash is extremely difficult to turn off via the app. They make it so easy to add more though. The app is crashing like crazy today, can't even view accounts to do much.

I've only been using it for a short time but I have found it very useful and keeps you from falling into the stock market trap of trying to make money quick by encouraging longterm thinking. Which is also one of the few complaints I have mainly being trying to get into a stock when the price drops but missing out on the low price because of the 4 transaction windows it uses. Now in the long run that's probably not really gonna make a huge difference except in rare cases. Overall I highly recomme

Its a great app for what their mission is and what they advertise. This is not for constant trading. Investing in the long run is what this app is built for. The only issue is the subscription. Considering there are so many free apps, this is the one thing holding back from a perfect rating and always a constant question to want to switch to a different platform as that subscription builds up over time as well.
