Useless for people who actually care about security. Refuses to work on rooted devices. Edit: Telling us it won't work on rooted devices doesn't require anything other than a rooted device. If you intended this behavior (which I believe from the message in the app), you do not need to know my device. Remove the offending code, and let people have their secure and rooted devices with your app. Otherwise, simply admit that you don't offer a service to those who secure their phones through rooting.

App works usually but the added popups for so called "discounts" and such is completely unwanted anr annoying since it moves the decline button wherever it feels like. Your fees are already too high, stop penny pinching. Edit: Now ads that make the app sluggish and load slower. Plus right next to the next button. Now removing two more stars to make this app one star. It almost doesn't do it's only function.

If possible avoid using Western Union. I almost lost money while using this app. The status of online money transfer showed delivered but money never reached destination bank account. It took me a month long follow-up and several long duration phone calls to get my money back. Never had any such issues with other money transfer apps. I have decided never to use this app and would advise others too if you want to save the hassle.
SPECIAL PROJECTS
This is a completely worthless app for a completely worthless company. Everytime I go to make a transaction even a simple $20 or a $10 transaction to anyone they require me to answer a burdensome and invasive questionnaire. They also want me to provide them with all kinds of documents that would normally be required of a transaction involving hundreds of thousands of dollars. If I'm sending money from my card why would I have to give them documents to show where I got the money. Makes no sense!

It is EXTREMELY difficult to edit the card information if you are attempting to use a different card from the one you used previously 🙄 after deleting the app and re downloading it, the previous card information STILL auto fills. After all the editing, get to "review all info" page, and THE INFO IS WHATEVER WAS USED IN LAST TRANSACTION!! I've been trying to make a transfer for several days, and have to use Western Union, the only 1 allowed by the federal prison

This has been fixed by the team, thank you 😊. App isn't opening after update. " there's a bug, clear catch and try again." I have, the app continues to crash. I also attempted to re-download, still crashes. Regarding update for 10/09/23.

I really like this Western Union app. It's been really great using it to send money to my family overseas. I did notice that recently the in-store payments are no longer recorded in the in-store transaction tab ... I've missed several in-store transactions in my history record which doesn't give me a full history of my transactions whether online or in-store... Can this be fixed?

The app doesn't open and it keeps crashing saying there's a bug on it Adding more absolute worst with chat help. Still my issue is not fixed Thank you for fixing the bug issue now I am getting an error message c1974 can someone help me with that Update: I have called western union as suggested over 5 times and they keep hanging up on me saying it's not there problem. Ia totally disappointed on this I would give zero stars if I could. Absolutely horrible customer service

Hey developer, your app has a bug and isn't currently working, I tried clearing cache, didn't work, then data, didn't work and lastly I tried reinstalling n didn't work. Galaxy A54 Edit: there was an update released 12 Oct 2023 and still isn't working. Resolution: after uninstalling the app, I restarted my phone then reinstalled the app, this seems to have fixed the issue.

The app is crashing every time I open it, ever since the last update it no working properly, i had to used the website and turns out that the recipient has to go to a Western Union branch to be able to get the transfer. The only branch close by is 200 miles away. It's been a really bad experience after using the website instead of the app. It used to be convenient and easy to send money through the app now i have to go inside a store to be able to send money. Fix the bungs in the app

The app keeps crashing on every launch today. I have been using it since the last 4 years and this has never happened I tried clearing the cache and relaunching the app. I get an error pop-up message saying, " Western Union has closed because this app has a bug. Try updating this app after the developer provides a fix"

The app closes automatically everytime I try to open it. I already cleared cache and also uninstalled and reinstalled the app, but it doesn't work. Why would I contact customer support with details and screenshots when the problem is not my phone? That's senseless. Reading other reviews it seems that the app has a bug that needs to be fixed.

This app is horrible, sure. The app is extremely slow and unresponsive. Also there is no correlation between the app and coustmer service. In other words the app is in another galaxy. Also when entering senders information some how the middle name and second last name get transcribed. In other words the second last name will occupy the middle name when you go to edit the name. I have screen image if necessary. Thanks

The features and ease of use are great, when it works. I have to uninstall it constantly then reinstall to get it to work. Also I went to use my points about a month ago to pay for the fee and it took my points off but still charged me the full fee price. I went back in thinking it had surely gave me a credit back but it didn't, i just lost out on those points, which are not easy to save up.

I lost my rewards points because for some reason, it does not automatically pop up on the payment section even if you have redeemed it. There seems to be no way of retrieving a promo code as a guarantee that your reward is claimed. Sending money and rewards are two separate pages on the same app. Very frustrating as it also crashes all the time. I only use it out of need but it is seriously one stupid, unhelpful app.

Great app. I never have problems and the conversion rates are normally right on the spot and doesn't price gauge. Which is beneficial. The fee is only 2.99 which is almost the same as the atm. The only difference is I get reimbursed for atm fees and I won't get reimbursed for this fee but its convenient to not have to go to the actual bank. Also great for when my husband and I are traveling separate and one of us need something if our cards won't work in foreign countries.

This app is very user friendly, you can't make a mistake that it cannot catch and fix.! transactions are super easy to initiate, funds transfer super quick . i rate this a super app minus one. From my personal experience, there is a feature lacking that if added to the app, it would greatly enhance its superness. We the users should have the ability to use our discount points on the same screen as we check out, like the promo code discount maybe this option could be added ?

I normally don't leave one star reviews. Unfortunately, over the last few months of using this app, it has serious issues. In 8 months of using it on a biweekly basis, I have had to reinstall the entire app, clear my phone cache and restart it every single time I make a payment. I have only had one occasion where the app loaded successfully for two payments. This is on top of numerous stability issues I encounter when it does work. The error code I get is longer than the word limit for reviews
