I'm a big user of the Google Assistant, and recently have been getting more into Google lens. The integration between the two is spectacular. I have had no problems with Google lens, and it's been able to identify different dog breeds for me, different products that I see, and has really helped me translate some of my favorite restaurants menus into English. I love the app, love the integration, and hope to continue to see the app improve!

The devs have taken an incredibly useful tool and turned it into a wall mural of fecal matter. Used to be great to identify actors or actresses you have seen somewhere but can't remember where, or identifying bugs, or plants, or reading foreign languages. Nothing you scan anymore leads to useful results, only sale pages. The entire premise of the app has been corrupted into unintelligible drivel. It's useless. Don't waste your time

So far, so impressive! First use, so rating may change. But it was able to decipher my penmanship. I can't always do that. So, impressive! UPDATE 05/2023: I ran a brief comparison between Google Lens and a plant identification app. Accuracy 3/3. Okay, not a valid research group, but detailed, and with purchasing info usually listed. I'll tell you when it makes a mistake. Don't wait up for me.

I gave it a fair shot. Tried multiple times to find online a similar image, or locate a product, the services advertised by this app, and not once has it ever known what to do. I get a screen saying they can't help which lists the things Lens can do. The list is not interactive, so no, tapping the task I wanted to accomplish did not help. Uninstalling. What a waste.

1.It doesnt really give you a quick tutorial on how to use it. 2. I am not a techi,and I do not use it if I can keep from it. 3.When you type a heading you cannot move it anywhere else on the pic. 4.when you use stickers from the bottom the don't stay either, you can't change the size of font either. 5. Being able to change the lighting if its too dark or light is great. Thanks. 6. When you try to get out of 1 section is a very difficult thing to do. I would rather just not use it. I have tried.

I love this app. It helps to identify items in question, and I must say, it does it rather well. No, it isn't 100% accurate, but what is..? If, intuitively or knowingly, you feel the info is incorrect, just continue using it, the correct answer may eventually show. It's satisfying to me. Finally, an app that can assist me in identifying items I'm unfamiliar with. I hope your experiences will be as great as mine.

Awesome! This is incredible. I tested the app with random things I'd pass throughout the day, and every time, without fail, it found the exact product and also showed me similar options. I'm finding it particularly good at presenting less expensive alternatives that achieve the same look and at the same time, the same exact product for less on other sites.

98% of the time it absolutely can be of a huge inspiration & assistance to me. It's been great to see the vast improvements over the years. However, it's not always the results I want to learn for the rest of the 2%! Therein is my frustrations. I seek answers for pictures or translations; it's unnerving to learn how many times answers cannot be offered.

It's amazing how much this app can do. Just two examples. I went for a walk in valley forge Park Pennsylvania. I was able to use the app to identify a large range of plants and trees and learn so much about them. Fast forward to different use. I scanned a business card. All the information was accurately transcribed into contacts. Again it's just impressive how well it does these tasks.

I keep getting random items from family and have no idea what they are. Or while junkin' I'll find something odd and interesting that even the shop doesn't know what it is. This saves so much time. I'm loving this so much. Having the ability to figure out what some obscure item is quickly and without a lot of headache is impressive and so handy. For me, it's been roughly 85% accurate and it seems to still be learning.

The Google Lens app has exceeded my expectations of a photo based search engine. From my experience with this app at the time of release up to now, is a night and day difference. At first it felt sluggish and in a sort of primate stage. Now it has advanced far ahead of where it should be. I used it on my dog to see if it would even get close. It was exactly right. So I used it on a car a pretty good distance away and immediately got the make model and exact year. 10/10 stars if I could!!

I use this app constantly! Reads all typewritten text perfectly, most handwritten text. It's great for copying text from images or certain apps that don't feature select/copy functions by first using a screenshot. It's not quite as useful for searching images, such as plants, but this depends on the image; I have had many successful image searches. There is just one thing... it would be nice if I could use the selected and copied text and share this to another app, such as Google search.

A resellers best friend. The app can even identify strange antiques probably 90% of the time. Things they could consider for an update (I'd even pay for).. 1) being able to track/look back + save searches 2) being able to select the exact item that I was looking for once the app identifies it, then a further search for that item/picture only.

Seamless integration with the ability to run a reverse image search easily no matter where you store files, with only a right click. It's superior for online comparison shopping and locating specific items. You can even sub- search smaller parts within the image. My main complaint is that it seems to be updated for the purpose of mainly just shopping, whereas the ability to match faces consistently has somehow plummeted. Seems like the they took 3 steps forward and 4 steps back with this

Amazed at the searching and matching ability of this app. MUCH thought and time went into the creation of these technologies, only possible through countless hours of meticulous, legitimate human input. Searching for and finding an exact match is a fairly simple process--the software simply takes an image of an item and matches it to all other exact items. But for a computer to find items which are "similair" to a human mind is incredibly complex. Very well done! Thank you!

This is a great app- have found almost every single thing ive ever looked up and i come up with some random stuff to look up! Still like it as of 4/9/23 but am getting really irritated with the part at the bottom of the screen where it asks if it was helpful and wants a rating. That takes up too much room and doesnt clear off the screen. Its in the way!

Very buggy. Half the time it freezes up as soon as I open the app and try to point at something. I have a Galaxy S10+ so memory clearly isn't an issue here. I believe the app's sensitivity sensor needs to be better corroborated with the camera and phone software so that it's not instantly freezing up as soon as I open and point. Otherwise when it works as intended it becomes a great tool. I once used it to identify a car make and model I didn't recognize. It accurately found it. Fix the bugs

App crashes as soon as it gives me search results. Even if I click on the results, the web page disappears as well. Plus I have to be super fast to be able to click on the results before they disappear. So far, I am not fast enough to actually see or copy/paste the results so I can open them in another web app. Have reported the problem but no answer so far. Bummer.
