Can't sign up using Google. Can't use as an overseas user.

I live for Naver. It's so precise and detailed. Since it became available in English, it's the only map I use. The only feature I'd add is a way to share the Favorites list, like if I have a list of recommendations in a certain area, I'd like to share that entire list of saved cafes, bars, etc. As it is now, you have to forward each map link separately.

I keep using the app because I used to like it and it has all the settings already, but lately the subway trains time has not been correct. And not like 2~3 minutes difference, but a whole 10~12 minutes! I hope you can fix that! Also, the things about stairs: I also wish a map shows a more stairs-free route as an option! Or at least let me know there are stairs, because there are no visible indications that I can see now.

It is a good app calculate well the time the only limitation is that if I go to another app I loose the itinerary that I just selected. If the wifi or 5g is cut and reconnect (wich happens a lot when you take a subway) then you loose your itinerary. Which is annoying when you are commuting and have constantly to input your destination again and again. So now I have to switch to another map this is too annoying, too bad though it is really a good app.

Basically a worse version of google maps, translation never works correctly, addresses don't load properly, most functionalities require Korean knowledge even in English mode

Best app for navigation in Seoul, but has some really unintuitive interactions and bugs. Really bad engineering quality.

This app is so horrible. Despite claiming it has an English version, it can ONLY give you results when you type in Korean. It can also ONLY give you results when you put in the exact (Korean) word with absolutely no mistakes. If you put in "Mcdonalds" without the apostrophe, it won't give you any results. When you DO get results on something, it only gives you results by "relevance" instead of distance from you, meaning everything is far away, instead of the closest options to you. Horrible!

Great for navigation, but please add an option to enable or disable rerouting due to traffic conditions. Sometimes I want to take a certain route to go past sone nice places, but the app always change my route, even if there is no traffic on the original route. Please add this function to your next update. The rest of the app is perfect.

Extremely lacking when compared to the stock functionality of Google maps. Thanks to outdated law, naver maps is one of only a few companies with high quality maping of South Korea, while Google is left with low quality mapping. Unfortunately naver maps doesnt come even close to providing the same features as Google - no offline mapping, no explore feature, custom maps etc. It's unlikely that this gap will ever be closed, though there are a few unique features such as traffic cams which work well

The navigation part of the app' is 100% foreigner friendly. Thank you Naver. (Now you need to turn Naver system - especially the booking and food ordering system in English and it will rock!) /!\HOWEVER /!\ @developpers Over the latest versions, there's a bug in guidance, or at least a lack of compatibility with Spotify. Indeed, if Spotify is running when you start navigation, the guidance voice will not work. --> we need to force closing if the two APK before restarting first navermap.

Fine map for korea. Would recommend naver to change ' my location' to a dynamic element so the user experience would significantly improve while navigating

Good map, but cant login to add favorite. Help, I tried to log in via facebook or line but it keeps on taking me to naver login page, I tried to sign up but SMS never reach me even though I have balance in my SIM card.

Hard to use in the beginning because the address you put in from Google maps does not give you any results on Naver. Also the navigation is in Korean sometimes (even when language setting is English) but after awhile, you get to understand it and then it gets better. I suggest tourists to play around with this a bit at home before you get to Seoul so you don't waste time trying to understand it when you are actually in Seoul.

I cannot sign up via application. I apply with Thai Mobile phone. I didn't receive token back. And I cannot sign up. How should I do?

Unable to login via phone. Works fine on laptop.

I can't log into the app. I get an error that says "due to security reasons you need to enter the code along with your password" There is no image. I can't even open a support ticket because I need some verification number a tourist would never have. I just want my book marks.
