Description of Île-de-France Mobilités

Île-de-France Mobilités is there to help you on a daily basis: train, RER, metro, tramway, bus, bicycle, Vélib', carpooling, carsharing... Find the tools and information you need to organize your travel in Île-de-France. Together, let's make traveling easier.

Avoid waiting in line at stations: buy your tickets from your phone!
You can buy the following tickets
- Booklets of t+ tickets
- Navigo day, week or month passes
- Special tickets (Navigo Jeunes Week-end, anti-pollution package...)
- Daily Vélib' tickets

The tickets purchased can then be either reloaded onto a pass or stored in your phone (which gives you the possibility of validating directly with it)*
*Service available on all NFC smartphones from the version 8 of Android EXCEPT on Google Pixel, Pixel 2, Pixel 2XL, Pixel 3, Pixel 3XL, Pixel 3a, Pixel 3a xl, Pixel 4, Pixel 4a, Pixel C, Pixel Slate, Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P and Nocturne. The application also allows you to prepare and plan your trips:
- Find bus stops, train stations and subway stations near you
- Search in real time for your public transport, carpooling and bicycle routes
- Consult the next passages of your lines in real time and all the timetables
- Save your upcoming trips on your phone's calendar
- View public transportation network maps (accessible even offline)
- Follow the pedestrian route for walking sections

Be the first to know and anticipate disruptions:
- Check the Twitter feed of your lines for real-time traffic information
- Be alerted in case of disruptions on your favorite lines and routes
- Stay informed about the state of the elevators in the stations you use
- Check and report on the number of passengers on your route

Personalize your trips:
- Save your destinations (work, home, gym...), stations and train stations as favorites
- Personalize your profile (fast walker, with difficulties, reduced mobility...)
- Select lines or stations to avoid

Favour soft or alternative modes of transport:
- Prefer the proposed bike routes for all your trips
- Book your carpooling and/or carsharing trips, in partnership with the main French players
- Rent a car or a utility for a short period of time by choosing a Communauto car-sharing vehicle from a large choice of stations around you and reserve it without delay for the duration of your choice.

Many bug. Can't easily buy a ticket (freeze, empty error page). When you finally have your ticket, you can't see it. You can't validate. Ratp shop tell you it's not their app. It is a scam ?

As bad it gets. If for any reason at all you have to reinstalled the app and you had a monthly pass, you can forget about it. It's lost. Going to any shop in metro station won't help either as apparently this app and normal card monthly pass are 2 different things. I would not recommend anyone to use this app for mobile validation.

My Navigo ticket in mobile suddenly stopped working and i can't reconnect. It's horrible now i can't travel anymore with this and no customer support.

The UX is terrible. I've just bought 2 tickets and I can find them. Finding a route is also a nightmare. The app is not fully translated to English. UPT: I don't see the tickets although I have a confirmation of the purchase. This app has just stollen 4 euros... Update: Support of the application refuses to communicate in English - French only they say. This is highly inappropriate as I am a tourist here. I won't follow the link or take any further actions, I lost 4 euros and 2 hours of my time.

It's a really superb & Awesome App for travel in Paris without any assistance. It tells each& everything wherever we plan our tour in entire 5 Zone Paris

Unusable for buying tickets. Forwards you to download one of N different ticket apps they are connected with who are all incompatible with your phone. On top of that it tells you it doesn't work on your phone only after taking many minutes to "configure". Amazing. That's on a huawai mate 20 and Samsung s21 So not even old phones.

UPDATE: The problem with tickets on the phone is that Android kills apps that run in the background. I fixed it by going to Settings > Battery > Power Saving Exclusions and selected this app and the companion My Navigo Tickets app. Don't bother reaching out to developers. The link they give you only accepts feedback in French.... Tells me that I have bought a weekly pass that is loaded on the phone. But when I try to use it to get past the turnstile I mostly get a red X.

From a non french speaking foreigner's perspective. This app is useable but if you don't speak French you may find it hard to find solutions to some issues. This is because most of the long form FAQ guides are in french although the titles are in English. Decent when it works but I think this app is only well suited for natives or those familiar with Paris. Best bet is to use the self service stations at the Matro station if you want to buy a ticket.

It works perfectly fine, speaking as owner of a recent Samsung phone (check site for compatible models). Expect some shortfalls in some stations (i.e., Pigalle), but i guess it is not related to the app. Paid the 30€ one week option in the airport and voila! Go for it if you're sure your phone is compatible.

Second try over the last couple of months. Although the app seems to have been improved it is proven to be STILL INEFFICIENT when it comes to buying anything from it (for weekly or monthly passes as well as tickets combined with the Ticketless extension app). This is seriously extremely annoying especially given the current sanitary circumstances!

When this app works, it is super useful, safe and convenient. But every now and again, it stops working, or suddenly says that my card is incompatible (even though i use it on a regular basis). EDIT: THANK YOU for your rapid feedback! I will be sure to contact you directly in future if necessary.

Poor. Do not use. Allows you to buy tickets, then will not display your tickets.

Dislay bugged, almost no text since a long time, event after updates. Reinstall should not be a solution. Button "start later" is more "arrive later" those feature were not tested properly. When your looking for an issue on a specific train, you are swarmed with disordered alerts from all over the line. Some irrelevant and there is even duplicates.

I created an account I couldn't enter my date of birth directly so I had to "back arrow" 768 times to get my DOB! When I attempt a purchase, only get the message "This service only operates on NFC-enabled phones". Google Play doesn't indicate that NFC is a pre-requisite. My Android 10 phone is only two years old so it is disappointing that it doesn't work. I'm puzzled why NFC is even a hardware requirement. I have been using the SNCF Connect app for making purchases and it works perfectly.

Had issues with the application that wouldn't load my monthly Navigo pass. Several communications with the support, nothing. I went to a train station office and they advised me to drop the app and stay with the physical card. No materialized sync between the app, the website and/or Ile-de-France Mobilité services. I was lucky most drivers were nice enough to accept the capture of my Navigo receipt! Still no news of the refund for my trip to Paris: I had to pay extra. App uninstalled.

Used the old app ever since it was new. Changed phone and new app plus "ticket sans connect" extension FAILS. The app hangs while "CONFIGURING" and eventually returns an error message. HELP?
