Very effective means to navigate local transit. It allows me to see when a bus is due for stations other than exchanges. Could be better if I could change the info given about a bus when more people get on and off, and I still switch to google for routes that use multiple vehicles (while cross referencing this app), but it's a handy tool regardless.

There are nearly a dozen things wrong with this app. On a good day you won't see anything wrong, but on a good day printed schedules might do as well. Lapses of communication can make the App useless. If a bus can't run a route because no driver, there is no procedure to report this in the app, or in the push notifications. The driver reports problems with the bus, but there is no substitute notifier for a missing driver.

The app helps to see when the bus is due. When it's accurate. There's multiple times I've missed the bus because it fluctuates let's say between 20 and 24 minutes for 10 minutes and when it actually starts tracking I end up missing it because the tracker is horrible. You need to update your computer and tracking systems. So nobody is late getting to their destination. LIKE WORK!!! It's only accurate maybe 30% of the time. And the bus is typically late by 3 to 5 minutes making it even worse.

Was good before but has become a paid service. It's always bad removing features from the free version and adding them to a paid version. Before you would be able to see all lines departure time, then it switch to a certain area, a usable area; In its newest update the area shrieked to an about 1.5 block area. It isn't as useful as Before; using your eyes and hopeing you can run fast enough to catch the bus is better at this point

Useful but unreliable. I like this app for the gamification and functionality, but they have no idea what is going on with local transit. Shouldn't they have a department checking in with and updating people in the status of specific lines. It boils down to laziness, this is their bread and butter. I'm inclined to go back to Google maps. Less information, stronger accuracy.

It was easy to use, but now i dont even have the ability to view the routes that i normally use and it won't let you search for them. The whole app is just stuck on bus routes that are no where near me regardless of where my location is set. I wish updates to apps actually were helpful and not a hindrance.

Even worse now. Requires a force stop regularly to make it work. No longer works great now that features are being removed from the free version. Miss the Go feature, which no longer functions most of the time. Helps when the location feed data from Metro is working correctly. Nice to see available options nearby. Was usually accurate. It's annoying now due to limited information from not paying for a subscription. Was better when LACMTA had a partnership for upgraded service for everyone.

This application was useful until they developed the guts to try and force people into a subscription service. Just what we need, yet another microtransaction! Perfect! It's nearly unusable in NYC without the subscription service. 3 routes? Google gives me more information from more agencies for free. I can't use the Transit app where transit exists unless I pay... trash.

Very nice. It be nice to be able to see entire bus route schedule for the week, or set alarms or schedule and pin certain certain stops in my specific days, like reoccurring time and route that is used. Over all very nice. You can rate how your trip was but no way to rate each bus if you catch more than one bus, you can only rate the trip over all. It continues to be difficult to change your location edit the trip you have planned. Still a very good app.

This app is great when it works correctly. Sometimes the GPS tracking isn't working, and if a bus is late during that time it's very easy to miss a bus. Tracking wasn't working on my line today, and the bus was 10 minutes late on a 20 minute loop. I've had this issue multiple times. With more reliable GPS tracking I'd give this 5/5.

Almost useless. Here and there it makes information available, but half the time it will not pull up the stop that I need with departure times, and there is no way to force it. The website is of similar quality. Finding useful departure info is largely a gamble and time-consuming chase. When on the bus, I can't even change my stop. Even the coding is extremely poor, permissions management is awful

Adding way too many important features to the paid version. What do you mean i have to pay to see all the lines? Isn't that the entire point of the app? There is no overall map of the transit network. There are not enough advantages over Google maps to justify price. Seems like the creators are just getting greedy and are willing to burn their app to the ground for sort term financial gain.

DO NOT GET THIS APP. Until recently this app was great, now it's just buggy and unreliable. The app won't let you access your tickets. To see them you have to delete the app, re-download it, and sign in again. But that only works three times, after that the app will decide you've signed in too many times and are untrustworthy of your own account information and tickets. They're basically stealing your money. And don't bother emailing them, replies are condescending pre-written emails.

Most frustrating app I've ever tried. I have an active ticket, or an upcoming ticket and it is not visible anywhere. I have to uninstall and re-install the app at least twice a week to be able to access my tickets. Sometimes while waiting between buses. The floating bar is only there about 10% of the time. When I go into settings to access my tickets there, they are missing. Every time I have to re-install the app, it threatens me that I am changing devices. I only have one device.

kind of intrusive with its level of notifications, app permissions while still not providing any more functionality than the app upon whose data it is based (local transit authority data). not all buses have real time data and the app cannot understand you may be boarding or currently riding a vehicle that is behind schedule. Why?! So easy to develop around opening up prior routes/schedules.

It would be very helpful if I could tell transit I'm already on a bus or train when I'm trying to find a route. It's also not very clear when it changes what bus you should take. And if you have a ticket you haven't activated yet it blocks part of the screen and makes it harder. But it does help you find routes so I'll give it 3. Not great but serviceable enough to download and use.

Errors out every time now, never picks up when I'm on my bus and if it does assign me to a bus it's always the wrong one. Would be nice to say I'm on a bus when the app inevitably doesn't figure out I got on at least. I've submitted multiple bug reports and at this point they just don't seem like they're making an effort to fix the app at all. Only up side is that it's still relatively accurate when letting me know when the bus will arrive.

Best transit app for NYC. Most accurate and reliable real-time tracking of buses/trains. Accurate time estimates for different routes, including walking. Makes planning for travel easier and saves me time. I've tried other apps but they just aren't as reliable lately. Upgrade to subscription is 100% worth the money. They're always making improvements to an already great app.
