Paid for the full app and loved it while it worked. There were a few bugs like having to set up my own 'voice' app each time, and custom responses not always sticking, but over all, I like it better than google maps. All the sudden it just crashes whenever launched. Sent feedback and info to developer, and not a peep. Can I get a refund? I don't particularly like paying for the privilege of not being able to use an app.

It has no voice turn by turn directions. How can an app be called a navigation app without that? It has a premium feature to turn sound off even though there are no sounds so maybe it's planned for a future release? It doesn't have much of anything else either. The premium version has a dashcam, which could be interesting. There are a couple other premium features that have no explanation of what they do. So maybe it has some usefulness, Idk. But currently, I can't find any reason to use it.

I want to like this app. I even got the premium, but the search sometimes cant find stuff, like the camping store REI. It almost feels like the search is geared towards places other than the US. Also, it keeps crashing randomly. I was just trying to use it to go home 2 hr away and it crashed 3 times, then i had to switch to a more reliable/stable app. When it works, it's pretty good, but its not often that it does.

Edit: I give up. It started at least recognizing my location accurately after I disabled battery optimization for it, but it just took me into a dead end, has previously taken me in literal circles, and it lists all destinations as at "Luke Air Force Base," wherever they may be in Arizona. This may be the best map app outside of the Google ecosystem, but any unreliable map app is unusable. $20 wasted.

I downloaded the basic app with the understanding that it would be an alternative to Google Maps. I then purchased the trip planning option to get rid of ads. THEN I find out that I have to buy an annual subscription to have voice navigation, which is a basic part of Google Maps. I just want a refund. I don't want (or need) yet another subscription. You need to post 'up front' that these features are by subscriptiin 'only' and not string potential users along.

In short the app is terrible. I'd ask for my money back but it's been terrible for years and by the time I noticed it was too late. My goal was to use it in emergencies. Problem is 2 out of the 3 times the app wasn't functional when I needed it. It either signed me out or didn't recognize my downloaded maps. Lifetime map subscription that isn't usable when I need it....Perfect. You know that sick to your stomach feeling you get when you got played. Yeah that's how it feels buying this app.

Nice ideas, but it's a long long way from Google maps in terms of navigation responsiveness. 70% of the time it has to readjust its position when taking any turns. 'Real live' view feature is also a long way from becoming dependable. The navigation line just can't seem to align properly for longer then 10 meters. Pretty taxing on the phone resources for everyday use. Good effort, but you guys got a long road ahead...

I purchased this app for a 1700 mile trip from Maine to Florida. I bought the base program along with the optional lifetime real time traffic and heads up display features. My phone is a TracFone Samsung Galaxy S7, Overall, I found Sygic Navigation and Apps to be easier to use than the competing paid Android navigation apps I have tried and I am satisfied with the program. I like the interface and some of the very slick features which I found useful. The real time traffic was particularly impressive. This is a well thought out app that you don't need to be a software engineer to use. Unfortunately, I did experience several instances of the app freezing which required me to restart my phone and for this I have to deduct one star. I also found the heads up display option that I purchased to be a gimmick that isn't very useful and not worth purchasing. My rating is 3.5 out of 5 stars. I can recommend this program and it has replaced Co-Pilot as my go-to navigation program, but I cannot recommend the heads up display. Hopefully, Sygnic will be able to improve the stability of the program in future updates. Without the stability issues and heads up display it is a 5/5 star program.

Works great for the most part. Was invaluable and very helpful in New Zealand. Gave it 4 stars because it got confused at times in Sydney. Also there were times where I had to tell it my country which requires an Internet connection. I had downloaded the map and had used it so not sure why this happened. I had to go back to my hotel for wifi and re-download the map. All in all though, when it worked, it was pretty accurate and worked well offline when I didn't have a data plan.

Not worth the money! The dashboard is cluttered with options I don't use or I don't want to pay extra for. I have a paid version, but the search feature is so much less helpful than the Google free versions. I haven't looked at this for over a year but since it is advertised as being available with android auto I thought I Would look at it again. Nothing is changed. Doesn't work with AA and the dashboard is still cluttered with ads to buy more options.

I've been using this app since 2018. In the beginning it was OK. I even purchased premium version to have access to more fancy stuff. Waste of money. In Europe it worked pretty good, some minor issues. But in U.S. it is unbearable. Everytime I start the app I have problem with finding the address I want to go. Google maps or Waze have no problem with that, but Sygic does and very frequently. And the maps are up to date!! While driving, when I stop at the traffic lights the app gets lost. Waste!

I love how sygic uses open street maps and does not require service for navigation. Seeing the contours of the land is nice, and helps to reference in some areas. The only place I could see real improvement would be in searching for some addresses, sygic has difficulty finding places on the occassion. It's hard to say, but I would think it might be an open street maps issue, since they are updated through open sources.

The thing I hate most about this app (and I paid for mine) is the way it re-routes. My 12 year old MIO re-routed from the point you leave the prescribed route directly to the end point which is great when you have closed roads. If you bypass a turn with this one however it will take you miles out of your way to make a U-turn so you can go back and take the same route all over again, and it will keep trying to take you back there unless you ignore it for a few miles then cancel the destination and start all over again. The distinction between the two seems minor but this has let me down numerous times. This app may be fine if you've simply missed a turn off but where I live we have two seasons.. Winter and Road Construction. If the road is closed than the road is closed.

Very promising but buggy and design issues; PROS: - gives you a distance and estimated time between multiple waypoints along the route. - ability to set toll and route preferences on a state-by-state basis is very helpful in defining routes. CONS: - buggy, hanging periodically locking up my Android Pixel 3 for 1 or 2 min. - Android Auto UI is afterthought and is poorly designed and limits access to features that set it apart in the app UI. Promising; will uninstall for now and try again later.

I have the latest version of the app and still am seeing the flashing colors all over the screen occasionally. This problem is now much improved over the previous version (where the colors flashed all the time), but it is still not completely fixed. Seems to be associated with Android Auto. Can't commit to buying the premium version until this is fixed.

I installed this app on my Pixel 3 XL and all it did was crash, or freeze my phone. The free version does not contain many features and I purchased one of the modules for $7.49. A waste of money. I finally uninstalled it. Glad I didn't spend the money for the lifetime map updates before the free trial ran out. Update: I received a reply to my review and there was a suggested solution for my issues. I reinstalled the app and found the solution. I went ahead and paid for the "Real View" feature and, MAN, was I impressed. Only one problem, you have the ability to adjust the screen to offset if your phone is off to one side the first time you run the app. I, unfortunately did this before I had my phone mounted in the vehicle and the result was erroneous. I then did some extensive research on thier support web page to find out how to re-adust the screen and could not find an answer. I submitted a request and received a response on Sunday, the weekend. It was a simple solution, so I suggest that they add it to their support page. I receive an immediate response stating that they will do that. I would definitely recomment this app as a must for anyone who needs to drive for a living.

I put off getting the premium version for a while but about a week ago i paid and got it. I don't regret the decision. While the app, like most others, is not perfect it does have available features that i find useful. The navigation works well but the addition of the real view and dash cam really enhance my experience. I recommend this app and so far have had no issues.

The maps are very out of date in my area, even though I just downloaded them. Many of the exits are miss numbered and consistently has outdated locations for stores I search for. In addition some of its locations are just wrong. If these issues were fixed I'd give it a 4 out of 5, as the interface and overall feel of the software is amazing, but not being able to rely on it means I often have to resort to using other apps.
