I absolutely love this app, it's my right hand for every day I'm outside. Only downside is a minor bug, but I can no longer navigate a "walk" from a bird's eye view/without taking the "journey". This was a much more reliable way of navigating for me than starting the "journey", so I hope you can bring it back! Thanks

Absolutely fabulous. This app is my answer to all things that I thought G___M__ would be. I am hoping that I can use it off-line, it will show me when buses are moved from Granville to Seymour, and that updates are accurate. The reason for 5 stars is because I was mind blown in the first 5 minutes. If anything changes, I'll take away a star. I almost did for it not having satellite. But we all can't be that perfect.. like this app is.

By far the best travel app, easy to understand layout. Not cluttered at all, good icon differentiation. BUT where is the Widget ? Ahhh, make one please and I'll give 5 stars! The main reason I have other travel apps on my phone is there's no widget for bus times on Citymapper! Please make one, and also a lifetime purchase price for the app, and I'll buy it. I can't stand subscriptions

I always loved the app. But recently it is way off with the bus schedule. It really used to be so reliable when it came to checking when the next bus is going to come and where the buses are on the map but right now it's completely useless and I need to look for another app that can help me with buses. It is still ok when it comes to trains and tube.

Found this app due to having problems with the other one I used, and I like it! Only thing I would love to change, is to give the option to change the way we view the bus due time! So as opposed to 5 mins or 18 mins for the next one, let us have the option to change it to the 5:05 or 5:23 format!

The bus times can be a little inaccurate, especially on a Sunday, BUT... this app is pretty much an essential part of my commute at this point. If you work in an industry that has you at different venues all over London? I recommend this app.

Why does it have 4.8 stars? It should be around 2.5 to 3. It doesn't even support the capital of South Carolina (Columbia). I thought this was for me to find traveling in various ways from one location to another. Also, so many pay walls. Highly disappointed. Only for folks who live in really highly populated and rich places. I thought columbia was sufficient, but clearly not. Absolutely useless.

Used to be my go to app for transport in London. But recently seems really glitchy, for some reason it doesn't follow my location on the notification, but it shows where I am on the map, it doesn't update the notification as I move through my journey. Doesn't tell me what time I'll arrive at particular stages of the journey. Randomly restarts my journey after I've reached my final destination, have to manually "end trip" on every journey. Just becoming a hindrance

June-July 2023 updates introduced a bug with bus stops around Paris. Substantial amount of bus stops stopped displaying data, and algorithm a lot of times ignores them. Bugged stops are easy to spot - instead of old bus icons new ones are displayed, that look like trains or trams. There are whole bus lines and whole districts that lost coverage. No amount of report error or submit bug messages helped, so here's the comment. Hope Community person here can lift a finger and expedite this fix, ty

Perfect for travelling around Sydney, Can be a little chaotic at times overfilling the screen with bus stops but for a free app, it is amazing. Ads aren't a nuisance, bus stops to and from ares and forms of travel preset or if you're looking to travel, just view all transport nearby! Bus times don't seem to be accurate if a bus is running late or early but for a free app, it really goes above and beyond with their smooth design, alerts and options to choose from.

This app used to be so good and on point. This app is not reliable anymore. You claim you have fixed the bugs, I don't think so. Anytime I'm waiting for the bus or train, it gives me different times, or I miss my tain or bus. I live 2 mins from the bus stop. Why am I still waiting for my bus 29 mins later after your app told me it would arrive in 2/3 mins. Times for jounerys always disappear. It is not reliable. Thank-you

I think this app is brilliant but could do with a few tweaks. For example, sometimes bus times change from showing how many minutes away it is to showing the daily bus schedule, which is useless to me. It also can show inaccurate timings because (I am guessing) it judges the distance to your bus stop and doesn't take into account traffic, or how busy it is (although this would be very hard to integrate). Could have a reporting system like Waze? Still, it's almost everything you ask for.

Rarely works and hasn't been reliable in a long time. Google maps is more accurate these days. The problem isn't my journey, but the bus times. Some routes, especially during busy times, are slow. I want to know how slow, and if I need to find a different route to get to places on time. During rush hour is when Citymapper glitches the most. It stops showing expected time and switches to the timetable time, which doesn't help at all. That's when I turn to Google, and so far, it's more reliable.

Been wanting to say this for ages. It's annoying how even after you turn the map around, it automatically re-orientates itself to showing the Start at the top end of the screen and the End at the bottom end. It would make more sense to be the opposite way round so please stop it automatically re-orientating, or at the very least show arrows in the trail so you know which end is which in a hurry! Also, bus times have been getting more and more inaccurate lately.

This app was indispensable when I visited Seoul, Korea. Googlemaps does not provide walking instructions in Korea, and the Naver app (English version) is clunky and lame. Citymapper was spot on for my ramblings sround Seoul. It was accurate for public transit options and for walking instructions. zThe interface is intuitive and thoughtfully designed. I wish it were available in more cities. Highly recommend.

Uninstalled. The app used to be good, but has recently been preforming more slowly, and now certain options have been blocked off behind microtransactions/paywall, and it's not a ONE TIME payment either, it's a subscription. Guess CityMapper have decided to play chicken with their users and see who blinks first, but given there are free, fast, and constantly updated alternatives like Google Maps, I'm afraid this app has been uninstalled. Recommend other users to use Google Maps.

The best offline Transportation app ever, but of course you still need to have internet access to get the app started. Unlike Transit App, when you are in an area where there's no service anywhere you don't get lost and confused where to go like Transit App does. When there's no Service anywhere around you, you can still use this app and not get lost. Thank you Citymapper people.
A Google user
Used this app on a recent trip to NYC. It was great. Got us to the closest subway or bus, told us when the next one was arriving and the correct stop to get off. Then gave directions to walk the rest of the way to our destination. Very helpful and easy to use even for someone not tech savvy. Highly recommend it.
