The most recent update has been working very well for me and I like the theme options, and the variety in horizontal or vertical scrolling, although the grid format was better as I could organize tabs. The app can be very slow at times although that might be bc of how many tabs I have open lmao. I also miss being able to search and switch to a tab I had open in the search bar. It'd be great if these features could be made as options again

They keep reworking settings on the browser that don't need the work (open tabs are stuck on thumbnail preview now, instead of a list of tabs open), keep removing options (like being able to switch between tab display settings, or removing "open in new tab" on a long press, replacing it with "open in new tab in group", with no way to change between them). It still blocks ads well enough I guess, but it's incredibly frustrating seeing browser settings removed for no apparent reason.

This app used to work great at loading sites without ads (albeit slowly), but recently I've noticed that all the sites I try to open with adblock browser return an error to the likes of "can't communicate with server" or some such nonsense. I don't know what happened, but a browser that won't load websites at all is useless to me. I'll keep trying for a bit longer before I give up and uninstall...

I love using this browser and not seeing ads, since I really hate ads. So far I haven't had any ads break through on any version of your app. However, you used to have an option in your settings where you could stop videos from auto playing in your previous versions that disappeared a couple of updates ago. Please add this option back as I find it really annoying when videos start playing on a site I go to when I don't want them to play. Do this and I'll give you a five star rating.

Edit: For anyone looking for a new browser, Firefox has the layout that adblock did previously and there is an adblock plugin you can get for it. It's also a lot smoother than chromium Original: Great app before the update. Now the layout is trash and it freezes a lot. I preferred the grid. Thanks. You sure listened. And now you respond to what we are actually saying (which is that we hate it) by telling us to just get used to it. I'm just thankful that you didn't wipe all of my opened tabs

Pros: Open Youtube and and select something to play...no ads and YOU CAN SHUT YOUR SCREEN OF AN THE MUSIC WILL KEEP GOING. need i say more? Cons: If you're listening to a album on youtube.It may crash, meaning you have to re-open the app back. It will load to the last page BUT, it will pick a location of the album. ex: album length is 45 mins. You have listened to 30 mins worth of music. The crash....and you are back to 2:12 mins. This is more of a pain if you listen to an audiobook.

Very poor support but Great browser. I spent two weeks sending requests and asking for support, on how to backup my bookmarks or somehow save my bookmarks. The app kept crashing immediately after trying to open. I can say their automated response is immediate, but getting personal help to solve your problem lacks completely. In the several years I've used ad blocker as a browser, over four different phones, it has worked flawlessly. It it does a great job as a browser and an ad blocker.

All of the features of AdBlock Plus, right on your smartphone! I've been using this service for years and when YouTube started increasing the number of ads on videos as well as adding intrusive ones within the videos, it was time for a change. I was also paying for YouTube Music because it was ad-free and had all of my music. Not anymore! The subscription is canceled and AdBlock Browser is my new go-to.

This app used to be good, but it has gone downhill. So many ads get through now, and on top of that the search feature is bugged. I have to try searching the same thing several times before it finally loads correctly. The issue isn't with my wifi or cellular data either. I did some speed tests and everything was good. I downloaded another app and didn't see any issue with the searches working. Don't use this app. It's garbage now.

Bad update. I've used this for only one reason, to block annoying ads. It no longer does that. Banner and animated ads now show up everywhere, not even turning off acceptable ads is removing them, dispite the fact that they don't even fit the criteria as acceptable to begin with. I waited a resonable time for post update glitches to smooth out but it hasn't been fixed yet so I can't recommend this now.

New update doesn't allow search WIDGET like it did before. There is an error message that pops up. Not the best but ok. Still better than being on straight up internet. It doesn't really block ads, because you have to unblock to be able to access some of the links. It'd be nice if the browser could allow the ad but in a separate tab that isn't accessed so you can still see the page. Or fool the ad into thinking you're seeing it. Like a VPN or something.

One of my favorite features had been the ability to turn off image downloads when not using wifi so I could save data when not home. However this latest update seems to have removed that feature, while also not incorporating the "lite" mode available in Chrome. A good browser, but without the ability to save data, I might switch back to Chrome and see how much lite mode can save me.

It was first not really as good looking as chrome, but it was functional. The current update (as well as the last few before) have made it look more like chrome, but does not block a majority of the ads. It has been this way for a few months despite me reporting that I still see ads on almost every website I go to, which means they at least have some indication of a problem. I am having doubts they are trying to fix the ad problem right now.

5 stars for previous performance. 1 star for current performance. Worked great for a while but after one of the updates a couple months ago it completely stopped blocking ads. It is now functionally identical to the default chrome browser. I've tried reinstalling and going through all of the settings. I'm not sure why it no longer works and it's frustrating because for several months it was working beautifully.

I originally gave 3 stars last year and I kept trying other Ad Blockers. NOW! I have a Samsung S10+, close to 1.5 TB of storage, cache is clear. No viruses or malate etc etc etc. This has been getting worse and worse as the UI just faltered. NOW when you watch a video in portrait mode half of the video is cut off. Full screen landscape? About 1/5 of the bottom is gone. If you try to line up the video it gets smaller and smaller on the top and bottom. This USED to be so good.

While slow, it was a fine browser to use for blocking ads before the major update. However, it is now slower, clunkier, and freezes more often than the previous version. Also, I really hate the new layout. This update was complete unnecessary in my opinion. I am going to either roll back to a previous version or just switch to a different browser altogether.

Great... when it works.. Half the time it works just fine. Blocks the ads you don't want to see. The other half of the time it forget that it's supposed to block ads, so that ALL of them show up. Crashes when you try to open it, or just freezes and won't open at all. The only solution I've found to the freezing/freaking problems is to uninstall it, then redownload it. I've done this enough, I'm sick of it. Going to find a browser that works.

The new update looks crisp and nice, but there are things that made me really want to revert back to an older version. My most hated, the new tabs layout. I loved how before they were like a page of thumbnails, easy to scroll through quickly and easy to see what they were. Now it's like a cell phone's app scrolling screen, all of which I hate. It can be changed from the default horizontal scrolling to vertical, but both suck.
