Cutting-Edge Features: It often includes experimental and cutting-edge features, APIs, and improvements that are not yet available in the stable version. Not for General Use: While it's great for testing and providing feedback, it may be less stable than the stable version, and some features may be in various stages of development.

New layout is awful - takes up twice as much space as before while providing no new functionality! I understand why a lower toolbar would be good, as it's easier to reach, especially one handed. But why not move the whole address bar back to the bottom of the screen like it was a few version back?

I love the bar at the bottom, highly intuitive and useful, makes chrome much easier to use, the switch tabs page is better than the normal chrome but the pure white background is just unnecessary. Nobody seems to like white, so why force us to see more white? Dark rules, please give us the option at least.

After the newest update to version 84 there is no way to open chrome flags. I would like to reverse the the tile tabs to the previous version where they were stacked. I do dislike the tiles very much. Any way you could help me with that? When I searched the Internet for answers, I noticed that there are many people who would reverse the tiles tabs. Please at least leave us an option. Thank you!

Its seems to be very spotty with reliability. It will freeze up and you can not move the screen Very frustrating. I know it's not just my phone but also my lap top. It seems to be related to the ads not permitting me to delete them or move forward.

I love my Google, but, this last few updates are not as good as usual. I kind of like the spread out look of the tabs, ( I don't usually have 50 open at at so it's okay) but Where is my homepage button?? And when I try to scroll a page that's any length at all . The news is what I read, and I can't get past 5 headlines without it scrolling back to the top. I gave it more than a few chances, it's happening constantly. Updated again. Same thing.

The tab organization feature (subtabs) is amazing. Always wanted something like that. Hope that's also coming to desktop sometime. Edit: It's even better with the latest update! I like the quick search bar in the tab view, and the option to tap the toggle to switch between incognito and regular tabs! No bugs encountered with this so far

Used to be amazing and paired well with chrome, to have an alternative browser for specific things. A recent update has lessened all forms of chrome unfortunately. For some reason grouped tabs all count each tab towards total count on the top right...used to be able to have 80 tab groups, of any # of tabs each and it would say 80 on top. Now you get the :) symbol after 99 tabs super fast. I can't fathom why anyone would prefer this...it should be undone asap and I give 5 stars.

I first used Google's superior search engine and then found out about Google Chrome's Developer edition several years ago. I use it as my default browser and it is the best browser I have ever used. I love the ability of being able to make changes to the browser in greater detail than any other browser I have ever tried to use on the internet. My Word on each and every topic, including what I think about this app is always considered to be the gold standard. - Ryan.

Most used browser but the App Size is STILL TOO BIG ! it stores an UNNECESSARY HUGE AMOUNT of cache & doesn't even use it to reload pages offline 🙄 (& it takes up to much SD memory). No Night/Dark Mode for the eyes or battery savings. Data saver is, for the lack of a better word...Useless!. barely saves data at all. Needs some serious overhaul ! & not for just the look of the tabs. & Finally ad-blocker still doesn't block those pesky, intrusive ads !

I have been unable to update the standard version of Chrome on the Google Play Store and it is stuck on version 70. dated November 19th, so I took a leap of faith and installed this instead. I have been very impressed with it so far and will probably continue to use this version as my default browser. It is quick, clean and responsive and nice to use.

It was a really good app before the more recent updates. It was a good alternative to power browers because of the add blocker, but as of recent updates its terrible. It crashes constantly and is very unresponsive. No matter how many times I refresh I'm having issues with it not loading properly or having letters randomly missing that I have to highlight to see.

Sorely disappointed with the ridiculous download feature that adds yet another unnecessary step to using the increasingly cumbersome Android system. 08032021 Update When did Chrome become so absolutely useless. Crashes, freezes, hiccups in searching, experience over the past 3 months on Note 20 has been nothing short of abysmal. Just deleted it, switching to Mozilla! 10182021 - This issue has been partially fixed, though many documents still require this additional step. Resolved finally!

Since the follow-up about my issue from even a secretary at Google is non existent, I doubt any version of Chrome is worth using. Download another server is highly suggested. If you don't have customer service support, Chrome Dev could be almost flawless but it isn't worth the FREE download. My original rating was 4 stars and reviewed it as such; It's a good version of Chrome. The only issue I have is when I open the Amazon page, it always displays the page in Spanish, I don't know what to do.

-> Long-pressing text, which typically triggers the 'Copy Share Select-all Web-search' (etc) pop-up, *does not* work, 4 times out of 5. Very frustrating. Clearing cache usually fixes it, but only *very briefly* til the bug resumes; you can highlight the character(s) but no sign of the pop-up menu. (Updated to latest version, 83.0.4103.7). Thanks in advance for any tips.
