They have all these sliding animations in menus now, where every element or drop down of a form takes a full second before it is ready for input, because you have to wait for the drop-down to slide open. It's insane. Who thought animations on a financial application were a good idea? Doing a simple trade and clicking through the form is tedious as every focus/unfocus of a field requires waiting for the sliding animation. Whoever does your UX design needs to refocus on usability.

While the new app seems to have fixed the ability to scroll side to side properly, its horrible. Too much on the portfolio screen and can no longer see everything in on screen. If you all were smart, you would stop thinking you're so smart. All you seem to have done us replicated the power etrade app, which I didn't like or use because of this.

After running for a while, the app fails to load charts and needs to be hard closed and reopened. Loading options chains also takes a long time and stalls out occasionally. Another gripe is that the app displays inconsistent values for gains or losses on the portfolio page. I can refresh the page and it will show I have 17k unrealized gain, the refresh again and show a 2k loss, and then refresh again and it will show zero. This is all with no change in actual value in the account.

A new year. A new update. Same old problem with the screen jumping when you scroll up and down that drives everyone crazy. It's not about how many features, it's about the features that are there working correctly. Also seems to be frequent issues on tax lots, from the weird order it puts them in sometimes to the math being wrong sometimes, although I admittedly haven't checked since the new update so maybe that was fixed. By that I mean the days change negative, yet the days gain is positive

The app seemed to work well enough when I first downloaded it, but ever since the most recent update it literally does not work. You cannot authenticate to it and when you do, you can't navigate nor do the charts work. If you don't have a desktop computer you would have a major problem. The service seems to be a good one but based on the mobile app and your desktop limitations I wouldn't recommend this in good conscience.

The new app has lost the share price change $ when in the portfolio view and with the all accounts option selected. I've tried the customize option but the "Change $" isn't available in the customize options list. Tried to use the message function to report the problem and have been getting the "something went wrong" message for the last 10 days. Don't bother trying to call, your battery will run out before someone answers.

Recent update was a needed improvement to the application. It's more user friendly, easier to navigate and visual asthetics are easier on the eyes. The only drawback is the lack of integration of PowerTrade features i.e, integrated charts and so forth like competitor applications. We shouldn't have to log into two separate versions of the application to use those features.

Latest "upgrade" of UX/UI totally misses the mark. It is an antithesis of "information at the fingertips" - sparce layout with low information density. Excessive navigation, lots of "who cares" stuff like Dow graphs - all of it instead of immediately getting to the point of showing me my portfolio with maximum info that fits on a page. I want to see my money, in DETAIL, and then I might navigate to SP futures or news - but this is not how it works in new release. A dud.

The app is nicely set up. But there are often little glitches like graphs not showing, and numbers not reflecting property on the profile page. I even experienced a discrepancy in a chart between my profile view and actually clicking into the stock itself. I think E-Trade should continue to keep up with the app since they do well with the desktop version.

Great app until the update. Now there are animations for menus to pop up and I can see less information on the screen at a time while viewing my portfolio. Before I could pop open the application and scroll through my account in a few seconds. Now it takes me a few minutes to view the same stuff. Why can I only see 2 columns on my accounts page at a time? Also went from a very professional aesthetic to a weird "bubbly" UI that went out of date in 2010.

The app is ok, I am just starting with it really. I am actually using "Power E*Trade" which is "Options House" that they purchased and converted for use with their system. It is much the same, just nicer. ;) I may have a REALLY nicer version soon. My friend is adjusting the coding so it will display on my tablets. Currently it just stretches out the space between the same 6 point fonts (or whatever) that was in the original app.

Its not user-friendly. The app is complicated and busy and it looks designed by someone in finance. Being someone that doesn't trade a lot at all and kinda just messing around. I downloaded a couple of the apps and was extremely disappointed by this one when some of the others offer very well put together designs with next to no difference in fees.

I am really enjoying the app. However, there are certain changes that would enhance my experience. - Being able to sort the alert list by alphabetical order. - Being able to view in the portfolio screen the value assigned to alerts for each specific stock. - Being able to edit an existing alert directly from the portfolio screen. Right now you can only set a new alert.

Terrible since new update. Layout is horrible and confusing. Can not look up stocks anymore, you have to leave the app and go onto an Etrade web page which is super tiny and nearly impossible to read and there are no analysis reports, only weird samples. The old version was good, useful, easy to use, all in one, so why change it?!? The new version needs to be changed back!!! UPDATE: so I figured out the symbol lookup. I still can't get over how UN-user friendly the new update is. Mind boggling!!

eTrade's app has always sucked pretty bad. They recently pushed out a new version of their app and it's abs horrendous. It now refuses to log in with the fingerprint reader (which was never an issue before). When that fails, the app locks up and you can't log in at all. It refuses to allow you to put in a password, unless you try force quitting the app. Even then, you'll put in your password and the app will just sit there with an endless spinner on screen. Hire some real developers people!

The old version was very user-friendly. It was easy for me to navigate my first time using. However, the new version was a surprise. Navigation was much more diffucult. It took me 2 weeks to locate everything. Also, the new design looks rather cheap.The old design looked more sophisticated and high tech. However, I've embraced change. Overall, it's not as bad as I initially thought. The sudden change was just a shock. 😯 Yet there is still room for improvement.

The app works pretty well. I run into slightly more than occasional problems when trying to view charts/graphs by clicking on them from the quote details page. Also my secondary watchlist won't open until I open and close the app a few times, so that's kind of annoying. Otherwise, the app is pretty good, not perfect, but it's workable.

Getting used to the new update. It runs much smoother than the previous and overall happy. One setting I wish they would update is the default homepage. I wish evertime I press the "Accounts" button on the lower left, it went to my selected default homepage rather than only when I first open the app. Additionally, I feel that I see less information at a glance since the columns are separated by more space, wish the dead space or font sizing could be customized by the user.
