Very good app for tracking your personal finances. Years ago i manually added all my income and expenses, later I connected the app with my bank account and it syncs. The app had many many issues over the years, it wouldn't connect to the bank account for months, many software issues. But it seems to be working at the moment. I think it is worth it.

I really, really like the app. The charts are nice and the single level of categories keeps it simple. The showstopper and reason I can't use this app though is that you can't assign refunds into expense categories, so refunds for groceries, for example, have to go into an income category which means my groceries total for the month is not accurate. This feels like a fundamental feature to me and more surprisingly, it seems as though this has been done "by design".

I've been using this app daily for the past 2 yrs, but after the update I don't feel like using it much longer. Now the app is slow and reliably crashes every few minutes. In the past I loved the speed and reliability as I could record several transactions using short-term memory for the items bought and each price, all while keeping up a conversation with other people. Now that would be difficult as each time I need to wait for the app to recover from crash then initialize for a while.

I have been a happy user for the better part of 5 years. But then Ver.5 was released and everything went downhill from there. The widget is not working anymore, it takes a lot of time to initialize the app, every single time. The hashtag option was brilliant for tracking and it was not character sensitive which was perfect; now we have labels, and from UX perspective it is horrendous to interact with. I wish there was a way to return to an older version and keep on having a fluid experience.

Spendee is at best average - but I'm paying for premium as I think it has the potential to be the best. I have tried and tested every app that works with UK banks, and it has the most reliable sync. It also has the ability to create custom categories for expenses and income. It currently doesn't let you add all budgets together to help judge total spend, nor set targets (for saving), nor predict your expected balance if you hit all budgets successfully. Fingers crossed for the future.

I've been using the app for nearly a year now and liked it very much. Since the update in December, there have been nothing but problems with the app. It lags, crashes, and doesn't save entries. The option to add to a transaction is also gone now. I get so frustrated as I installed it to help make managing my finances easier, but all I do is wait for every little thing to load, causing a waste of time and energy. I wish the glitches would finally get fixed so I can continue to use and recommend.

No widgets anymore, it's way slower than the previous version. If you want to backup/export your data, you only get 365 days worth of data for free, for all time exports you need to pay. Being a long time user, I don't have access to 2 years of data. Very very disappointing! Update:Luckily I managed to get all my data by subscribing to premium (you get 7 days free trial, and can cancel) , as it was the only way to retrieve 3 years of transaction data! Whew!

I've been using this app for the past 6 years. I don't care anymore of the minor issues that I reported in the past. But my huge disappointment now is that it is really slow. The app lags a lot just by browsing on old entries like a few days or weeks ago. Hence, am giving it 3 star from the previous 4 star. Despite that I still like the UI, the performance is becoming really bad.

Seems like the app becomes absolutely useless. In addition to it is still extremely laggy (more than a year passed) now it fails to share new wallets between two accounts. It just desn't even show sharing invitation both ways from one to another. Also It fails to load transactions owners in the transactions list. Also it stopped to show notifications about transaction added by another wallet user. Not going to pay for it for the next period.

No active development nor bug fixes!! I have been using the app for the last year. At first it was very simple and quick to log transactions (althought my countries banks are not supported i'm from Saudia Arabia). Now the app is unusable because of a scrolling bug that freezes the screen or lets it scroll very slowly. Every time a log a transaction the app gets stuck to the point that I need to close it and open iy again then it repeats the same thing after the next transaction.

It's a good app, adding expenses manually is easy (never used the bank connection stuff). The worst part of this app is the lag. It's sluggish and jittery! Nothing in this app is smooth! None! Also, I don't like the expensive subscription plan offered and the many limitations of the free version. Waiting for improvements of the app, I haven't seen an update in a long time.

Several bugs, like you can't not upload the profile picture. And others. The most annoying thing is that after you put certain amount of spendings the application run extremely slow. The purpose and functionality of the application is good, but the user experience so far is extremely poor.

love the app interface and features and all but they just cant seem to resolve the issue where the app lags way too much when trying to scroll through transactions that have been logged. this is not a new issue and for months they've been saying they are working on it but clearly it's not happening. really disappointing actually as this would otherwise be one of few apps that I'd be willing to pay for in order to access the premium features.

App is horrendously slow and barely usable when you load many transactions (which is a must to take andvantage of this app). Even with current high end phone. Clearing cache helps a bit for a while, so it really is barely a workaround. Hopefully this gets fixed asap. The web interface seems to work ok. App itself and the fact that you can link it to bank account is really handy and the price is not that bad.

The app is unusable. Lagging to a point where you can't even select an entry. The syncing with banks is actually not fully automated. You still need to press the sync button when you want to see your new entries. No auto wiring of transfers, that are obvious. It counts them as expense/income. I won't recommend using this app. It is really bad experience overall. It does not provide the futures of the competition. Especially for a user that comes from Toshl.

I have purchased yearly subscription late 2022 after a very positive free version. Unfortunately, after a few months of use the app has become very laggy - to the extent that it's no longer usable. I have contacted the app developer with a promise that it is being worked on, however, the issue continues after six months. Sadly, I have cancelled my subscription and will be looking for another app to manage finances. It's a little disappointing as the app had flgreat functionalities.

Since my husband paid for it, our Spendee apps are very very slow. Very upsetting. Sometimes adding one receipt takes me 4 minutes! And looking back in history or adding a receipt from last month is a 10 minute deal. We're very upset. They updated the app right after we paid, and that could have been the reason. Really upsetting. I'm fed up with it.

Great app, I love it and it has probably saved me a lot of money these last few months ;) the only app that has the features and UI that I wanted, to monitor my finances across my various accounts, in different currencies. That said, screens that list transactions is a little laggy. Not unusable in my case, but it's there. Almost as though it's loading all the items in one go, vs lazy-loading, t something. Doesn't bother me so much, so long as it doesn't get worse with time + new transactions
