Description of pCloud: Cloud Storage

pCloud is the secure place where you can store, preview and share files, anywhere you go. Start with up to 10 GB free storage.

You'll be able to backup photos and videos from your device, play your personal playlists, or preview work-related documents. You'll also be able to share large files with anyone and add extra security like password protection and expiration date. From your vacation photos to videos and work documents, pCloud brings all your files together.

Use pCloud Encryption as the vault for your passwords, financial reports or other sensitive documents. The files you upload to the Crypto folder will be protected with client-side encryption. This means that they will be encrypted before they get uploaded to pCloud. With pCloud's zero-knowledge privacy policy we, as a service provider, will not know what kind of data you store in the Crypto folder.

pCloud is also available for iOS, desktop (Windows, macOS and Linux) and from my.pCloud.com.

Most systems just have one hierarchy under one folder, but the way you can choose to sync any folder on your computer with any folder on pCloud so helpful! pCloud has worked great for me for years on Windows, Linux, and Android. I love having everything backed up and being able to share a link to any file I've got. And I haven't thought about a payment in about 4 years now.

Not sure what happened, but the music player has been messed up for a few weeks. I have playlists saved for offline use but tracks get skipped entirely or played out of order even though random play isn't active. App also no longer works with my Bluetooth headphones. Can't pause, skip or go back to replay a song. Only volume control works. Until it's fixed, 1 star rating cos playing songs at the gym is all I use the mobile app for.

I've spent months researching the best cloud service for the best options, security, and usability. pcloud has by far been the absolute best choice. No other cloud services offer a one time payment for a lifetime subscription that I know of. I've been using pcloud for many years now, no problems, no security or breach problems, and a one time payment for 2TB of storage for 99 years as per their agreement, you can't find that anywhere. Great client app for mobile, as well as windows. WORTH IT!!!

Early on I paid for the premium/lifetime. I have a substantial amount of images on pCloud, unfortunately many of them are not accessible. The images have just disappeared and show some strange icon in its place. I reached out the tech support no less than five times, they do respond but ask me to send the same information over and over. The end results-they give up replying to me, I have lost so so so many pictures. I have since move to a secondary back up system. I just can't trust pCloud.

Great service, imo vastly superior to Dropbox. One thing: the app can't seem to take exclusive control of phone audio, meaning it plays OVER whatever else is playing (spotify, etc) instead of pausing it. Since I use pcloud to send audio files between clients and extensively for listening, this is an issue that needs to be fixed, once it is, 5 stars!

I'm going to uninstall the app. Copied some mp3 files from Google Drive to folders on pCloud. The operation copied most files, duplicated one and didn't copy one other. Tried the operation on a different folder, same result. I don't know if this is a new bug or just a compatibility issue with my device - but until worked out, the service and app are practically useless for my purposes.

I had this app installed a long time ago and there were a lot of problems. I am so glad I reinstalled it. its now almost perfect, has an improved in every way. The only reason I gave it a 4 stars is because uploading folders. I had about 50 folders to upload. It wouldn't let me select all 50 at a time, I had to do each individual. I will be uploading a lot more folders and removing them so I've been so I really need to upload many at a time. Other than that, quick and easy.

I just about s**t all over you and you fixed the interface with my file manager. Guess there was a bug. Thank you very much! That's been going on for the past 48 hours. Still though, I use a stand alone file manager for transfer. If you could make it to where It don't have to go back to the root to move files that would be great. Also, maybe a plan where I could get 4TB or more. Again though thanks 😄

This service is excellent in all ways except one: the streaming audio player sounds terrible. This is only an issue for me because I use the service for, you guessed it, audio. This is the reasons I knocked off one star. I wrote to them about this issue and they responded that they have no plans to upgrade their streaming quality. I still do use pcloud and I prefer it to their competition.

After two "duplicate" files and hours of lost work, just no. Simple tasks like opening a document, editing it, then saving in the same location are beyond the abilities of the pCloud app. Just forget about editable pdfs. And most apps do not recognize pcloud as a save location. The music app does not interact with android software in car stereos. In other words, you have to manually switch songs on the phone rather than using the stereo, unlike any other android player which allows both.

The android app has several flaws. 1)doesn't allow us to view heic files although both smasung gallery and Google photo allow it. It doesn't even show that as an option. Only way to do it is by first downloading the file and then opening it from your downloaded files. What's the point? 2) Auto upload doesn't really work automatically. You have to keep opening the app for this feature to work. 3) you leave feedback through the app, and no one bothers to respond.

Love, love, love the syncing feature. Except when I'm trying to edit photos. Constantly refreshing folders gets annoying if I'm trying to work on the most recent photos (they appear on the bottom, and I'm taken to the top when the folder syncs). Other than that minor complaint, I'm very happy with Pcloud!

I do hope pCloud does stay around for a while (got the lifetime 2 TB plan). They're offering a great service for a pretty cheap price. I can back up my entire FLAC catalog & play it everywhere (though FLAC streaming would be even better, currently it converts to MP3 and streams that). There is one feature missing that's keeping it a 5 star rating; The ability to select a folder (or folders) & download/upload the entire folder(s) at once. Once this feature is added, it's a 5 star rating for me.

I can't keep automatic upload running on either of the two phones it runs on. I usually only notice when I'm looking for an old photo and realize the last photo it saved is from two months ago. It just turns off at random. If you're concerned about losing photos, pCloud is NOT a good solution. I got lifetime access for a one-time fee through AppSumo, otherwise I would have dumped it a long time ago.

I'm really happy with pcloud. I've had a paid plan for several months now. However, I dont care for the android app. The sync feature has never worked, and its fully automatic so you cant carefully select what you want to sync or in what manner. I just want an easy way to backup photos and i cant do a manual upload easily because it only lets you select files, not folders, and i just want a normal one way deep recursive backup. I will say they have quickly responded to all my questions.

Fantastic service and pc application for fast uploading. For some reason my Android app no longer allows the built-in player to work. When in a directory of files to play mp3 it now plays only one song at a time and each time the app asks what app to use. The built-in app can only be used from the menu and even then it's not as easy as it was prior to the update. UPDATE: The developer read my review, responded and fixed the music streaming issues with an app update. FANTASTIC! 5 stars!

This is a great and affordable cloud storage platform. My issue is with the latest versions: The playing videos in external applications (vlc doesn't work at all, video player works but keeps buffering every 5 seconds or so). I went back to an older version of the app and it worked perfectly. Please fix this, as its pretty much broken the app for me. Even the built in video player crashes.
She's so heavy
The app itself is solid. The giant red flag is tech support. I'm still waiting for them to resolve the issue of having access from two machines. I've changed passwords, uninstalled, re-installed, and I still get an error saying password and e-mail don't match. Hmm...then why does it work on the other machine with no problem? I've contacted them four times.They replied once asking for version, O/S, screenshots, etc. I sent and still waiting a week later with no solution. Premium Plus package.
