Very unreliable ... it never seems to fill in the password when I need it to; I have to go into the Lastpass app and search / copy the password and then go back to whatever I was trying to login to and manually paste it in. Once in a blue moon it actually works correctly. Very annoying. I don't know if it's better on other platforms but I'm using it on Android and it sucks.

I'm quickly losing trust in this app. The billing is super sleazy. There is no obvious place in the account view to see how much it costs, make changes or cancel the account or the auto renewal. That's very annoying and shady, especially for an app that is supposed to provide data security. I expect that level of annoyance from the cable company, but not LastPass.

I have relied on LastPass for years to keep my passwords synced across multiple devices. The app was never reliable or worked that well when it came to autofilling, but it was free so I tolerated it. But, now that you have to pay to use the app across multiple devices, there's no point in using it anymore when there are better free alternatives. Me and everyone I know who used LastPass have switched to the free and open source Bitwarden and couldn't be happier.

I've used lastpass for a decade. At the time when I signed up, it was the best option for browser auto-fills. Even though the Lastpass autofill for android regularly broke or didn't work at all, I stuck with it since I used it for PC 95% of the time. But now they're changing their fee structure and only allowing one type of device per free account, so I couldn't even access it on my phone if I wanted to. Even though I need it mostly for PC, there are still situations where I need a password on mobile. Paying $36 a year for those rare instances is completely nonsensical when free and even better options exist. Forced to try new options, I finally tried Bitwarden and it was a seamless transition. In the first couple weeks, it has already handled autofills better, and the menus are quick and easy instead of bogged down with things you don't need. The fact that it's open source and verifiable is just the cherry on the cake when comparing it to Lastpass. As I said, I used Lastpass for a LONG time, and I felt my hand was forced in trying new options but I'm glad I did. Android Lastpass was always a pain to use and now I can't even access it without paying. As far as I can tell you can't even pay for a single month, so if you find yourself in a situation where you have a free LP plan and desperately need a password on another device, you would have to pay a full year $36 just to use it once. Entirely unnecessary in a password manager these days. Find yourself a free or cheaper option, whatever it is. There are plenty that work just as well or better than Lastpass.

I've had this service for a few years now. It used to be great. It filled properly and easily on PC and Android. There is an improvement in that in actually tends to work on Android 13 without crashing constantly, but now it keeps trying to autofill even on websites where I don't have an account, just because it has a user/pass field. If you go back to the website after it forces you to the app just to tell you no matching logins, it does it over and over until you hit the x. So infuriating

When it works, it is great. But, I have found it very inconsistent. When I get a password prompt, most of the time Lastpass does not respond. I check the settings and find that auto fill has been disabled for some reason, often with a message stating "This service is not functioning". I have been a paid user for years, but will probably start looking for a better option.

The app is really buggy, log in takes forever, it doesn't even use the built in biometrics interface, it doesn't default to offline mode with a slow connection (instead it sticks you on the loading screen for forever), and the whole interface looks like it's from 2014. Oh, and to top it all off, I just got an email saying that in March the free version will be mobile OR pc, not both, which is the stupidest decision they have ever made. I will be migrating my passwords elsewhere.

Really great for the price. Love how it syncs. However, it could be vastly improved when "helping" create new accounts. It doesn't pick up the right username and somehow, doesn't save the correct password, even tho it assigned it. Have had numerous issues with that. It also likes to fill in odd fields (like a pin field) with odd info. Also probably shouldn't prompt me for a review when I'm pissed because it messed up my new account creation.

The app is great at password management but the pop-ups for filling sometimes don't show up or try to fill the wrong thing. The keyboard feature is TERRIBLE. Avoid it at all costs. It's slow and will take you an extra minute or two to actually type what you want. I also have found that the app uses a lot more memory than my actual keyboard. A fix for that would be nice.

I've seen other password managers, but this is the first I've used. Haven't always had the best security when it comes to Google, and I'm.... over it, I guess? LP has a clean, streamlined interface. Very user-friendly, easy-on-the-eyes. As far as retaining permissions, it could use some tweaking. Had this issue on other apps, so could be my phone... Not entirely sure. Sure feels like a small price to pay in exchange for what feels like an infinite number of unique, customizable passwords.

I've been using LastPass for years now, and it was in my eyes the perfect password manager. It has a great autofill and works on both my phone and desktop devices. Or, well, it workED. Now I need to pay for Premium just to access my passwords on all of my devices. And of course LastPass promoted a discounted Premium in the same email informing users of this change. Unfortunately, I don't want to pay for features that were always free. Time to make the move to Bitwarden, I guess.

I've been a premium user fore more than 4 years now, and it is sad to see a fantastic service go to such a level of decay. As other reviews are saying, browser integration have always been problematic, but that is understandable (Chrome never plays nice with third party softwares). However, it is not acceptable to see the same problem with the integrated browser. I'm out. Good luck.

Ive been exclusively a LastPass user for many years. It seems to be getting more difficult to use - or I'm getting dumber. It could be either or both. I cannot get it to work easily with apps in iOS. If there is a setting problem, I haven't found it. I’ve experienced fewer issues witb the Android and Windows versions but it is still can be quite frustrating. It seems unpredictable at times especially when creating password for new accounts or when I want it to auto fill a password.

I have had alot of time with this password app. First off, the app autofill when it wants. Half the time the little box doesn't even show up when I am logging into another site even though I am touching the log in area. It's really annoying. I like the set up it's really straight forward. It does store my passwords and when it's working, it's great. I was using Google password manager and it autofill everytime without fail but it was less secure.

LastPass is rough around the edges. As other have stated, it does not work well. It will not consistently prompt for auto-fill on a given app or website. Some do not prompt at all. There is no way to associate an app with a set of credentials. Some options are vague in explanation or seem to be duplicate settings. The app cannot go into landscape, its portrait view only. My theory is that this somewhere between bad software engineering and management. I would have paid for this software if they did not have so many usability issues in the free space. I'm considering other free or paid options.

I've been using the service for 6+ years and while the mobile version has always been hit or miss, it worked well enough for me to keep using it. Now with the latest update forcing me to choose between PC or mobile, it's just not worth keeping (and no, I don't feel like paying $3/month). My buddy mentioned bitwarden which is free and accessible across multiple platforms so I'll be switching over to that. So long LastPass.

I really appreciate having a password tool and feel better about our online security using it. That said, it can be a struggle at times. I often experience problems where information stored in the vault is incomplete or incorrect. Sometimes I find the password in the Username field. Sometimes one or the other is simply missing. And, sometimes the URL is incorrect. These problems typically occur when creating an account or changing a password. I think it works properly nearly 100% of the time if it captures the login of an existing account. I can understand the difficulty of handling password changes, but think Lastpass could caution the user to check the results when making changes. This can be particularly challenging with generated passwords. Lastpass can also cause trouble by not coordinating the passwords between websites and companion apps. A facility exists called equivalent domains, but it is cumbersome to get to. Why not make it available from the edit password page? I don't think I will abandon Lastpass, at least for now, but may in the future if the problems get worse.

I personally loved using this password manager 2 years ago. The UI is sleek and it gets the job done. It comes with lots of features right out of the box, with no need to buy a premium subscription since the free tier is all you really need. There's lots to go for this service. However, my biggest concern, and the reason I switched from it, was the decision they recently made which essentially required you to upgrade so you can access your passwords on multiple devices of different types.
