Well featured mind mapping app (less than 4 megabytes: my compliments, maker!) but the interface isn't very intuitive for me, and the app doesn't run very smoothly on my S8. The free version doesn't support cloud.

To be honest, the app is great but the UX is not really great. 1. Using mind map screen as home screen is not quite a great idea. I prefer to start from the listing screen. 2. In mindmap screen, the back button has no use. Also, the listing screen is access by using the drawer button but instead of opening a drawer, it opens a new screen which is not the default behaviour that users got used to with other apps.

At first glance this app is everything I'm looking for (and that's before even exploring the welcome page). As a Hands-On learner, I was immediately able to: -create my own mind map -create & rearrange new topics -explore the available options -& collapse thought bubbles (though this took an extra 2-3 minutes of uninstructed wandering 🤫) All in all, this appears to be a Great app, Surprisingly Simple for such a, tiny, surprisingly full-featured AP.

There is no point in drawing mind maps if you can't export it or save it in some different format. It's basic and bare minimum feature which must be included in free version. Also, there's no provision of retrieving the deleted mind maps.

The free version works well. I haven't seen any ads yet, and I've been using the app for several months. No image attachments with free version, nor is there an export function w/ the free app.

This app is a great tool for student to help outline their thinking. I created a guideline for a colleague of mine to be able to make better use of our online attendance/grading system. It takes a little getting used to, but is valuable to help keep track of thoughts during brainstorming.

SimpleMind, i tried them all there are no pop-ups or things that continuously slow you down. I all around if you decided using the paid ver. It give you access to all types of features that you would similer see in other highend priced apps the full version I paid IF your reading this review it's worth trying believe me! I am working on TRYING to REGAIN LOST MY OLD DEVICE to find the right email or login please help me regain access. You deserve 10 Stars!

My experience with this app has been excellent for years and across different types of devices. Once you get the hang of the controls it's intuitive to use and has the best functionality I've seen in my search for a good mind mapping platform. I definitely recommend.

I tried 4 other mindmapping apps before SimpleMind and this is hands down the most polished and fully featured. Being able to hyperlink within a mindmap or even to another mindmap in your cloud is a killer feature which no other app has. You can collapse nodes to hide relational links to prevent the map looking like a plate of spaghetti. When using the black background style-sheet on an OLED screen it just looks phenomenal. It even supports my Samsung Note's S-pen for precision editing and zooming when you hold the stylus button down. Have already bought the full license for Mac & Windows and will be recommending it at work and to friends. Requests: 1) Add support for time-stamps to the date widget. 2) Allow checking of check boxes in presentation mode. 3) Check boxes should automatically turn into roll-up widgets if child nodes are added to them. 4) Add a radial spring-graph layout option. 5) Finally... and it's a big one: Launch an API so 3rd party programmers can create plugins for specialised use-cases.

The Light version is good, for what it is. It's the easiest to use of all the free apps of this type, that I tried. Some limitations in the functionality, but that could potentially be resolved by paying. Which I might well be tempted to do, depending on the cost(haven't looked yet). But all in all, pretty much does what I want it to, and is fairly simple and rewarding to use.

Excellent app! I've been using SimpleMind for a while to create outlines and other documents. I really like the interface with all my devices, MacBook, Android phones, IPad. I linked my SimpleMind account to my Google Drive and I can access all my files at any time. I purchased the full version. for my MacBook and it is worth every penny. Thank you!

It's highly intuitive compared to most of the ones that I've tried. However, I can't tell if the app has certain features locked or if it doesn't function as intended. I want to buy the full version on iOS and Android. Features like cross-linking. You're supposed to be able to drag from the plus sign to create the link. It will not attach to any node. If it is a locked feature, it doesn't make it known. It tells you to do it, implying it isn't working.

I really wanted this app to fit my needs. But the free version seems to be very limited. So either I spend money for the full vers and be really happy or very disappointed. If they only unlocked a few more features so I can really work with it before spending the $$$. Still on the fence with this one.

Simple/minimal, but very user-friendly. The only drawback I found is that you have to purchase separately for your mobile and windows PC. If bundle offers are there, it will be more attractive.

This app is amazing. I got to try even even the paid version and it's a lot better. It creates the best mind maps none above it. I suggest that the text part of a node should accept markdown text format. And also accept linking words of text to other nodes. If we can also add images to that text, there would no need of a knowledge base and note taking app because that is the entire concept of those two apps. For the developers, a great thanks to you. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟✨

Very easy to use. The free version ( which isn't deceptive like some) gives you the options that you need, without paying. So I'm more likely to pay for pro version if I need to get really fancy. I have ADHD and this helps me really break down things so It's easier for me to prioritize and plan.

About the nicest free mind-mapping app you can find. It's intuitive, flexible, and doesn't suffer from the blocky, amateurish graphics that plague so many similar apps. I just wish it let you add arbitrary lines between nodes so you could illustrate processes with recursive routes. Maybe they'll add it someday. [EDIT:] Ah, okay… Since I'm not a professional mind-map maker, I guess I'll just struggle along with the amateur features. 😁
