The app has a long intro screen every time you open it, and often it will pop up saying security token is expired while your doing a transaction, forcing you to log in again (with the long intro, again) and start over.

The app is completely broken. Please fix it. It crashes upon startup repeatedly. I updated the app, and it is still not working. This is a brand new issue as of late September '23. I did manage to login once, but the "pay a bill" option has disappeared. There's no way to search for a receiver anymore.

Constantly has issues with the app. Now all my receiver accnt info has been erased. My money is lost due to a typo .. they won't give my money back. FIX THIS APP. I tried it yesterday, and it's still the same issue. The contacts don't have anything saved, but when you go through the browser, it's all there.

Concept is good, but I've not been able to successfully use it yet, so its been a major paying trying to pay bills with it. I continually get "an unknown error has occurred" messages, and then there's the issue with how long the app takes to load up. I thought this would save me time, but its too much of a headache.

Yes, I can send money without having to deal with rude service people and atrociously long lines of ill tempered people however, the app is difficult to navigate, slow, and half the time you can't see what you're typing as you're actually typing. Not to mention, if someone has had your current phone number in the past and used it in their profile and didn't update it when they got a new one, you're screwed!!! Or rather, I was. Personally, if it wasn't cheaper than Western Union I'd go back 2 them

Terrible. Was using Wise and received a message from them that Moneygram would be cheaper. Installed it, signed up went to send money and the app crashed. Tried several times. Then opened email from them, clicked on Send. That opened the page on the web and then it crashed again. Uninstalled, installed again, and had same problem. Wasted enough time. Wise may be more expensive, but at least it works. Uninstalling. Don't waste your time, as always, that is the truth!

use to use moneygram and decided to try them when I saw their rate was just a little bit better but it has been horrible. The app keeps crashing. I have not been able to send the money and have called several times, I keep getting an error message saying to try again later and their is a problem, I have cleared my browsing history, cookies, deleted and re-installed app, used computer computer, I have emailed the tech team with screen shot have not heard back. I may go back to boss Revolution.

A total disaster of an app and company. After having the account for years, it asked me to upload an ID, and then blocked my account, saying it was deleted. It took 3 calls to customer support and three tries of uploading my driver's license and passport before it finally worked. Each time it failed, the account locked (saying it had been deleted) and required calling them. Then I was finally able to send money. Unfortunately, it appears to have sent twice. No idea how that even happens.

They say this app is better than the old one. I disagree. All of my history was lost. All of my contacts have to be re entered. Now the app won't allow me to send money immediately from my linked checking account. Now I pay a higher price using my credit card. I cannot find a way to resend to same person. Also for sending to people with two last names it is best to put First and Middle name in first line as first name. Then for last name, same thing.

Frequently, transaction fails, app hangs, home screen allowing user to repeat last transaction partially or completely hides the "Send Again" button making it unusable (user has to change phone settings and reduce font size to correct) every time user does anything from the latest transaction/send again screen the app needs to refresh so it spins and spins for several minutes. If there user touches anything on that screen other than "send again", it spins, spins, and spins some more. Useless.

Totally broken. Where to start? The app randomly gives errors and refuses to function. The app made me login again and redo all information after I clicked "confirm" as the last step of a transaction. The app stopped allowing my login. When I try to sign up, it says my email address is already in use, but when I attempt a password reset, it says my account does not exist. Broken at every level.

I've used the option of "cash pickup" without any problems. I've used the option "mobile wallet" once, without any issue. The second time I tried "mobile wallet", the money never reached who I was sending it to. When I called customer service, I was told that the receiver already picked it up, though I have no email confirmation of that. When the person I was sending it to called customer service, they said that there was no record of the transaction. W'on't risk it, might find other app options

This is not related to this transaction, but my experiences with customer service twice were unprofessional and fraudulent. The apps works and the process is fast and good, as long as customer service is not involved. I have written twice through the feedback and complain, but never got a response (verbally or written). For those reasons, personally, once I get my Xoom or wave app running, I just might be switching from MoneyGram. I doubt if I will get a response from this too.

I was using Moneygram service since early 2000 without many issues and always had good experience with the service. Sending money consistently I found the first version of the app very user friendly and convenient. I don't know what happened, but this latest update is useless. It does not have functionality of the older versions and does not seem to connect to any of the banks to transfer money from. In fact, the updated website is about as bad. The only browser that allowed me to login was IE, other would not even let me login. It took me 15 minutes the first time to send funds, and online apps were as slow as a snail, and it is not connecting to any of my bank accounts today at all. It is very disappointing and I am now looking for alternative ways to transfer funds.

Bad experience... It says the system is down and it has crashed. It wants me to create a profile again after already sending money before. I log in online and it won't let me go anywhere without setting up a photo ID or license. When I upload one, it seems to never be good enough. There needs to be a better streamlined approach when people really need to send money. They don't have time to play around back and forth between the app and the website.

I use moneygram for over a decade now but their app is terrible! Too many lags. This app sucks! Too many glitches and errors. The shown errors looked like "unsuccessful transactions" or "incomplete transactions" but in reality it already went through. The money will be taken from your bank every time you hit the COMPLETE TRANSACTION button. They are too quick to get your money BUT when you cancel those unintended transactions, they are super slow to return it. I am uninstalling the app!

This app has worked fine before this new update, although a bit slow. Now it's virtually unusable for me since the country I'm trying to send money to requires the first, middle and two last names of the receiver, but every time I input the full name, the app reverts to only the first and last name, which makes it impossible for them to receive the money. This is bad, and needs to be fixed asap.

Had a bit of difficulties at first (some app issues, some user error) but everything seems to be working great now. It's nice to have a safe means of getting money to my son in Belize, without the huge costs of normal Bank transfers, especially when not working with large amounts. No difficulty with the app, but be aware of possible rules or regulations that may be required for the person picking money up, that are not mentioned anywhere and may be very site specific.
