All emails are fetched from your phone and stored on your device directly. We access new email subject headers (deleted thereafter), required to send notifications of an email arrival. Only commercial emails (example: receipts, Travel, Package Delivery) are stored to deliver Edison Mail Assistant features built into the Email app and Edison Trends. Personal information like your name or email address is NEVER shared. If you’d prefer to opt-out of participating in our anonymized research, you can do so in the settings menu.

Two new concerns with the recent update 1) my junk mail folder for Hotmail disappeared and is not listed as an option to add as a folder to be synced. 2) I am suddenly getting notifications for items in my junk mail folder. I cannot turn off those notifications or even get to those emails because there is no option to add my junk mail folder. I have deleted my account and readded. I also uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Neither fixed the issue.

This is the best email client for Android! I have 5 email addresses, each one with multiple aliases, one Microsoft Exchange address, one shared inbox and this app takes care of everything. It's super easy to use, super intuitive, with just the right number of options to not become overwhelming. After trying several other email clients, including Outlook and Blue Mail, this one is the best, without question.

Update 7.24.22 I like this app even more, so far. The new updates have really streamlined use and makes multitasking easier. • Finally! An email app, so far, that meets my needs. Simple. Easy to use. Notification options are great. When you receive an email and the notification appears across the top of your screen you have the option to delete it from there! I cannot tell you how useful that simple feature is and no other apps have that option (that I found. And I tried a LOT of email apps)

Super useful for the average individual looking to better organize their load of emails. Easy-to-use and customizable. Emails are much more manageable than ever before. It shows that a lot of effort was put into this app for the best user experience. My favorite feature is the subscription review 🙌 Support team is superb, by the looks of their responses. Amazing job with the beginning animations (and overall design of app!). Overall, I highly recommend it.

The app is aesthetically pleasing, especially dark mode, and the app worked great for a couple of days. But now whenever I open the app, it displays an empty Inbox, and I have to go into the menu and select the mailbox again in order for the messages to display. This happens regardless of whether there are read, unread, or a mix of messages. I'll give it a couple of days and update my review if the bug works itself out. Edit: This issue lasted a couple weeks, but appears to have resolved.

So far, it's working, which is better than half the apps I've tried to load on my phone. It would be nice if it allowed me to create the same rules for automatically moving certain messages to a folder like I have in place on my desktop, because the "focused inbox" is basically all unread emails for both accounts I have on the app. It's just fine, nothing amazing, but a little underwhelming based on the description.

The features and interface of this app is great and simple, but my biggest problem with the app stems from the fact that if you receive an email notification and tap "delete" from the quick options (without opening the actual app), it doesn't delete the email and stays in your inbox. You have to go into the actual app or website to actually delete it. Small issue, but if that we're resolved this app would be PERFECT.

This app is SO well designed, and the Assistant is amazing—truly the only client that tries to replicate Inbox bundles. Unfortunately, you can't see all messages in a thread at the same time (you have to click or swipe between individual messages), which is a bit of a non-starter. If you guys add an option for a proper threaded mode (like on your Mac app) I would switch over permanently.

This is the best email client that I found so far. Way better than Outlook client! It will show you the progress bar when you send an email which is really cool and it is very fast. Way faster than Outlook client. Dark mode is A+. Easy to use and there is an option to delete lots of emails at once. Gmail doesn't have that option and I really hated it. Simply put this email client is Awesome!!!!

This email app is working perfectly. It is even easier to manage then Office 365. I use it to manage five different emails over two different platforms and it is not disappointed me once. If there was any hitch at all to speak on it would be the spam folder; there is no "empty spam folder" button. You have to select at least one spam email message then you can select "select all" and trash everything. But that is a very minor detail at least to me. I can't see myself using any other mail app.

The app has a nice interface and neat features like shipping and billing categories, but the basic functionality of sending and receiving email just doesn't work well. After notification of a new email, the message may not show up for several minutes. As others have mentioned, if the app is closed soon after sending a message, it doesn't send until the next time the app is open. The suggestion of waiting to close the app until it does send is kind of absurd, and other mail apps don't require it.

Not a terrible app, it receives email, which is mostly what I need it to do. However, when I tell it to mark an email as read or delete an email straight from my phone notifications, most of the time it doesn't work. I have to actually go into the app and read/delete from there. Edit: Changed my rating to 4 stars because of the developer's willingness to reach out to me and help solve this issue, and because it's still the best e-mail app I've found, even with the issue.

Not bad but I really don't like the conversation view settings. In this app, you can either have all emails listed separately in the main app, or you can group them by title/replies (the default). The problem with the latter option is that you always have to tap twice to see an email: 1st to see the emails in the chain, 2nd to see the specific email. In contrast, the default gmail app opens all messages in a chain in a single tap, listed from top to bottom. I much prefer that option.

It's an ok email collection app. Is has one big flaw, and I don't understand how they can't fix it. I receive alerts that new emails have arrived in my inbox, however when I open the app it has to download each item. Even though I already read the into and I know basically what was in the email. This makes checking your email EXTREMELY cumbersome and slow. The emails should just download in the background like other apps. That way it can be ready for me when I need it.

I had been using Blue Mail for a couple of years. It just doesn't seem to process spam very well, and folder sync seems to work, but I know that mails are getting lost, and I'm not happy about that. This email app is fast, it's stable, and I am feeling a lot more confident in it properly processing incoming, outgoing, refoldering, and other operations. This is my new email.

Can't turn off sounds, email app is ok, but I can't use it if it is making noise every time an email arrives. When you go to the settings and turn off sounds, they just don't turn off. I want no sound, just the notification on the top of the phone. It is distracting and embarrassing during meetings, and it keeps me up all night. How in 2018 can you have an email app and not be able to control the sound notifications?

It works well most of the time. It worked amazing in iphone and so when I switched to Android so I kept the same app to continue using it. Lately, it doesn't download pdf files and show them. The email comes up blank so I've had to switch back to the default email app so I can actually see attachments in my emails so I don't have to keep asking people to resend it.

I love this app for all my emails in one place. I've been using it for about 7 years no issues at all. Works way way way better than Outlook. I can create folders from within the app unlike Outlook, you have to create a folder via the web. The app has no option for you to add a folder. This app rocks and can't say enough about it. Get it, you don't be disappointed.
