Mobile app needs work. Real time chart is great but it is very difficult to manipulate. It always comes up on a time frame I never use. The technical features I have added are good but the words for them fill up half of the space on the chart. And I have no use for the volume indicators but there is no way to remove them. Lots of annoyances.

I mads a terrible mistake updating this app. Information you get now is much more limited. I guess they want you to pay. I loved it before, could consult it quickly several times a day. Charts were great. Now the max is 5 years, versus all years before. Home page shows a little chart for each stock I'm not remotely interested in. Looking for a substitute, and there aren't many. But I'll keep searching.

Latest: Scrolling broken Prior review: ( before 3/20/20) I have been using Yahoo finance for a long time. It has been very useful for quick access to the stocks I watch. I like the charting features, as they are simple and reliable. The app recently went through a major update. It was giving me some issues. I left a review with comments about these issues. The developer provided me feedback saying they'd look into it. I was impressed with the personal feedback and the expediency in fixing.

runs slow, some of the buying and selling stats are missing. app is still slow to get started and now data is missing from all the listing under performance. Found after working with the stock performance page that all the data was updated and was hidden, just swipping to the right brings it back, than it has to edited to how it was before. Sometimes its best not to update your apps

The latest revision since it's new format is a disaster. This app is about as useful as logging into my vanguard app. It used to be able to deliver realtime updates accurately. Now the app is buggy and slow. The colors indicating gains or losses don't consistently meaning anything anymore. My market gainers/losers section provides information from days ago. All settings are default, and issues became present only after the new interface/format.

All data displayed is old, charts don't update. In certain "high profile" tickers, it'll just display straight up false data for hours. Interesting. Somehow the post and pre ticker pricing is always way off. I pretty much use this for the list, but if I want to see the current price or chart of any ticker I have to look it up on Google. No idea why this app can't show accurate stock data, since that's all it is supposed to do.

Used to be great. Now too focused on forcing ads for paid version down everyone's throats. They are throwing ads on the top, bottom, middle, and everywhere in between for both themselves and others, and it has gotten out of hand. They even started removing or disabling basic features such as charts or even notifications from old versions so that you have to update to the latest "more ads" version. How about a no ads version that isn't 30 bucks a month you greedy suits?

Pretty good for accessing your portfolio on your phone. Have tried many apps, but the layout and usability of this one just keeps this app very high on my list. I've also tried the premium version for several months and the free one has most, if not all, of the good options. Premium does have has access to more market research and gives you some analytics for your holdings.

Worth reading the news, not just click bait. The alert system is nice and so is the watchlist. The more time you spend with the features the more rewarding they are. I like the upgrades downgrades sections . Overall quite useful with one exception that the charts are a bit buggy on mobile experience but they work great on desktop. Thanks to the developers for a great product.

As a novice to stocks I have found this app very helpful. unfortunately I've found it's pretty bad. Charts don't refresh unless you go to the main screen and back to the chart. When you do this, your indicators disappear 50% of the time. You can't make any lines for charting patterns. A year in to using this app and I'm ready to find something better.

The app doesn't work properly on my Android anymore. The stocks and my portfolio show zeros instead of the price and up and down action. Reinstalled it and it doesn't help. Has been a great app for many years prior to this. EDIT updating to the latest release as you suggested has indeed corrected the problem. Thank you very much for your quick response.

The app is really great for looking up stocks and keeping track of a watch list. The ads in the article sections are a bit much though. My biggest gripe is that the preview charts have been broken and displaying incorrect data for a month now. I've reinstalled twice but they're still not working. Please fix this.

Data and information are quality and up to date but it's hard to know that because the app is almost unusable. It's slow, glitchy and when scrolling it starts to slow and then eventually just stops and you cannot scroll up or down and have to force close and restart. In addition, a completely separate scroll problem is in conversations when scrolling down it will work but when trying to scroll back up to reread something it just closes the conversation and there is no scroll up. Uggh. Fix this!!

This used to be a great resource for viewing after hours price changes in a list view format. Yahoo inexplicably removed this feature in their latest update:(... They also adapted the interface to place each ticker into it's own box. This radically increased the spacing between tickers reducing the number that could be viewed in a single page:(... I have used this app for years. Now it looks like it is time to move on. This is really a shame because this app used to have a great interface!

It's okay, but missing small, but important features that prevent it from being my one stop finance app. First, it needs more notification options, specifically for one ONLY for price alert. Second, there needs to be a price tracker/custom stock price alert option where you can set a desired price of a stock on your list and get an alert if it ever reaches that price. After all, what's the point of a watchlist if it isn't watching the stock prices for you?

This app used to be my fave. Now the app seems to keep crashing or is very slow and has a significant time lag . Also the news does not seem to update in the app much anymore. I can go through a whole day with the same news items in the same spots with no news shown all day. Have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app multiple times to no avail.

Since switching over from IOS, I needed an app to quickly view how the market is doing. This App does a reasonably good job. I major annoyance is that it always defaults to detailed view vs 'basic' view. When I just want a quick look at the market, I don't what to add shares and price, etc. I just want if it's up or down today, and by what percentage.

Once upon a time this app worked. Since the new owners started reconfiguring it has become more and more difficult to work with. The latest revision has the graphics and text running into each other making it unreadable. It is now also very unresponsive on the touchscreen with a long lag time. There must be better apps out there in cyber space. I'll let you know when I find one.
