Important things to know 
• There is a maximum of 5 payments totalling £1000 per day. You must be 16+ 
• Get Cash - Withdraw up to £130 every 24 hours at our branded ATMs. You must have a least £10 available in your account and an active debit card (locked or unlocked) 
• Touch ID and Face ID are only available on selected devices. 
• Credit score available once opted in through the app, to customers over 18, with a UK address and is provided by TransUnion. 
• Spending - you must be aged 16+. Only available for Personal and Premium Current accounts. 
• You can freeze and unfreeze MasterCard credit cards only. 
• You can create one Travel Plan at a time, for a maximum period of 90 days which include up to 7 countries. Each country needs to be registered separately. The Travel Plan will apply to debit cards only, attached to accounts that are managed via mobile banking and only in your name. Joint account holders should register separately. 
• Managing your receipts is available to Business Banking and Premier customers only. 
• Our app is available to customers aged 11+ with compatible iOS and a UK or international mobile number in specific countries.  
• Please make sure you accept the following permissions before starting: 
• Allow the app to communicate through your network 
• To find your nearest cash machine or branch you’ll need to let the app find your location 
• To ‘Pay your contacts’ the app will need access to your contacts list 

Please note, the app contains images when logging in that may cause a reaction in individuals who are photosensitive. You can switch these off for your device by visiting the settings menu and the accessibility menu where you will be able to find animal control settings within the menu (note this is not within our app but on your devices settings itself).

Great app, but the spending insights feature is useless to me, as it counts money I've transferred to savings accounts as spending, and doubles up the amount I've spent on my credit card with payments I've made from my current account to my credit card.

It's a great app when it's able to work, but there's always some issue where you have to uninstall and install again just to make it work. Update! It's annoying that I have to sign in and out just for my funds to register 🙄 a right pain. Hello Connor, it actually does! I wouldn't say this if it wasn't the case. Thanks for your reply, though!

Just recategorised months of transactions in My Spending into the wrong categories without my permission. I spend time each month categorising transactions that don't get auto assigned correctly. I know for a fact it was all correct. Looked back today & the bill category going back to Jan is £200 less than what it always is. Looked into it deeper, my income is being listed higher than it is because transfers from my current account to savings account now recategorised from transfers as income?!

Fingerprint sign in does not work. Every time it states my security settings have changed (they haven't) and it directs me to use my pin instead. Tried so many fixes I got locked out. Now back in and it still does not work.

Really don't like how they've re-arranged the menus in the latest version of this app. There used to be a really obvious option right from the home screen to pay an existing payee, and now this vital feature seems to be buried in 3 or 4 layers of menus.

It used to ask for face recognition every time I transfer money, I liked this as it felt safe. Now it has suddenly stopped asking, this is worrying me. My face is still registered in the biometric settings. Why isn't it asking me anymore? The font and look of the app has changed too despite the app not being updated recently. Unless mine took a while to update, phone not updating it automatically?

Not great compared to others. No option to make additional payments using a debit card via the app and complicated UI. Got good rates ony balance transfer so happy with that but the app could be so much better.

Don't remove SMS notifications if you then do not improve the notification settings on the app. I didn't mind that there is no seperate categories for notifications in the app... until you turned off the SMS service. Important things (like going into overdraft) get lost amongst the non urgent app notifications.

You've added a feature to the app where you can now view your last 3 months of statements great. The bad thing is that I can't download my statements, I can only share them. Why would I want to share my bank statements on somewhere like what's app or upload them to somewhere like one drive. I want the option to download the statement to my phone like any other banking app I use allows me to do, now I have to log in on a browser just to download a statement which is silly.

App worked fine until today, now it wants face ID, WHICH DOESNT WORK ON MY PHONE! What was wrong with fingerprint ID which has worked fine for the last two years? There needs to be an option of using one or the other which doesn't appear in settings. Gone from being a good app to fundamentally useless.

Great ish App, its getting there, but why do I have to add face recognition to change an account nickname? Seriously? , it is just an account nickname... it makes no sense, why give me the option to create / edit a nickname and when I click save it says I can't change it unless i set up face recognition, i don't want face recognition. I am seriously thinking of going back to Barclays, they seem to listen to their customers. (Never thought I would say that).

Edit: the app now gets stuck. Requires biometric approval and stops working. Chat with a rep runs in to a complete repeated conversation in which the try to explain to me how i to transfer money using the app. Looks like the real rep is no better than chatting to the cora ai. Unbelievable. I haven't been able to make money transfers for days. Normally good but some very annoying features. For example, why can't I change the nickname for a payee without deleting and re adding it?

Agree the new look means many more clicks to complete a task. And the blinking verification!! 20 times today before it worked. I think standing by a blank wall and holding the phone slightly at a downwards angle helps. Slow or fast blinking or removing spectacles makes no difference. Wastes a lot of time!

It's quite nice in terms of design and there are many options to choose from for your banking. The thing I struggle with is how unneccassarily complicated it is. It's too complicated to even transfer money from one account to the other. You have to go from one page to the next, to the next... If you are not too tech savy, I think you would struggle to use the app, which shouldn't be the case. I think this is something that the app needs to improve on.

Just stop messing with the app. 2 revisions ago this was 5 star PERFECT. Why change something that worked SO well? It looks way more confusing now and isn't as clear to start with. Personally I'm OK with that but have you ever given the slightest thoughts about the confusion you may be causing to elderly people who struggle to get used to new things quickly, before you go totally changing the way an app looks and is interacted with?

The new design is extremely stupid. Previously it was just one tap/click for pay or to transfer money. Now you go into menu for an account and say transfer it takes you to another page, then send or move, then another page to transfer or pay. Three extra steps for no reason, adding more confusion and additional chances of making a mistake. Even if you use the tab at the bottom it's not clear from which account, again adds a new step. Just keep it simple and a few taps for quick tasks.

This app was previously a 5, but since the update I don't find the app to be as intuitive. The extra screen for transferring money between accounts takes longer. The wording of which account money is going too is not as clear as it was and this is not good for users with additional needs. There has always been a quick transfer option and that has gone. It does work, it's OK I suppose, but for a big player like natwest to have something so clunky and disimproved is a shame. Hope they fix it.

I totally agree with the previous 3 posts mentioning a recent update and how many steps it now takes to transfer between, for example, a Natwest savings and current account. This is now a complex and not intuitive process when it was perfect before. Thanks for your reply. But disagree, payments were easier to find before with less steps. I don't find it takes time to get used to changes at all, only those that are no longer intuitive or don't make sense design-wise.
