When it works it's great. Too bad it's not often. The app does a lot of helpful things but breaks while doing it causing massive frustration. Selected 200 photos that you no longer want based on size or age? Too bad when you click delete, the forced ad causes the app to forget everything you selected deleting none of it. So the entire hour you spent picking out things to delete was wasted. This glitch happens every 1 out of 3 times I hit delete.

Like the antivirus, it's easy to use and is good at cleaning junk files, hidden cache and much more. It will even give you notifications when your phone is getting low on storage, as well as tips on what to clean next. The app can transfer stuff to the cloud, with your permission, of course. I enjoy using this app, and I reccomend it.

Excellent app. Does what it promises. Simple and easy to use. One button press and tons of freed memory appear. Using a Lifeline (Obama) phone with 16 GB internal memory, was constantly having problems until I installed the app. Highly recommended. UPDATE: Upgraded to new phone, had to pay again for upgrade! AVG Anti-virus verified subscription and upgraded automatically. Watch out for this glitch(?)

I really like this app have been using for three years it's filled with great features that you’ll love. It’s functional and great for those who are looking for a steadfast cleaner app that will help them in the long run. Not only does it have the basic features such as an app manager and a battery saver, but it also has a photo analyzer to help you easily remove duplicate photos and even an optimization assistant that will help clear your device’s memory in just one tap. I highly recommend it.

A great app overall. Easy to use and seems to be effective. The ads in the free version can get a bit intrusive because you can't close then immediately. Some require viewing for several seconds before the option to close is available and some include loud audio, which can be annoying.

This was a great app until I got a new phone and had to reinstall it. Now it's different and doesn't work nearly as well. The hidden cache and browser data can no longer be used in the free version. That's completely ridiculous! There's really no point to the app if it can't clean everything. And I do NOT pay for apps of any kind! Also, you cannot even contact support without having the PAID version. Seriously?!? So if I have a problem with the app, I have to PAY in order to get support?!?🤬

Doesn't work anymore. The cleaner use to work better on hibernating apps. My battery runs down in a matter of about 4 hours. On both phones we have it on. We have had the ultimate package for several years. No it is not my batteries. The app slows down my phone and on my computer. Not a good buy. Will be looking for better software. The free app worked better than the paid version.

AVG doesn't work at all. I want to stop apps but only SLEEP MODE comes up. I try to use it but nothing stops. It says to turn it on in settings but it is on. In settings it shows the app isn't working properly with an i in a circle. The cleaner doesn't clean anything at all. This is a paid subscription. I have contacted your colleagues and get the same answer each time. Now my subscription has ran out. I did not get what I paid for.

Just unloaded this app AGAIN. It has a unique way of indicating that is cleaning...goes through the motions of cleaning..shows you exactly how much data that you just freed up. When you arrow back to the cleaning page, you see that it hasn't done anything at all. It's like that co-worker of yours who always looks busy...and never does anywork at all

Free version was great highly recommend it but I got a 7 day free trial of premium. Didn't like the fact that it state it would start the free trial in 7 days if I didn't pick yes or no. But I accepted, it needed permission for all kinds of things and I agreed to it at first but when it blocked me viewing certain parts of adult pages I uninstalled it. My mistake was thinking all settings that I had put into my phone would be go back the way they were but they weren't, took me 2 hrs to fix it!

So far, so good! I actually decided to purchase the upgraded version for $12/year. You can enable auto cleanings with the upgrade, unlock advanced maintenence options, and of course cut out ads. There's even a feature to zip down file sizes, like photos and video, to consume less space on your phone. While in the file section the app has categories like doubled photos, old photos, and poor quality photos. It brings things to your attention to delete. I will update if concerns arise. So far, A+!

Does not clean all the items. I was very disappointed because I started off with the premium, paid version, and it's not working as it should. It keeps displaying a high number of items that have failed to clean after going through each cleaning process. Might have to cancel the subscription because there are always a number of items left over that have failed to clean after we do a manual cleaning.

I have AVG Ultimate. The cleaner app should automatically be upgraded to the Cleaner Pro but it isn't. They want to charge me extra. AVG contacted me to let me know they had a glitch in the software. I waited a few days and tried again as they suggested. The glitch was fixed. Everything works as it should again. I am very thankful. I have used AVG for over 10 years and have always felt it was the best program I have ever used. I use the AVG Ultimate Pro that includes the Cleaner Pro. All is well

Update 1/8/21 whatever they did in the last update killed the app. No longer puts app to sleep, screen freezes when you use the boost function. Absolutely horrible now. I like the optimization that's been added over time. Simply select apps and select what you want AVG to do. Hibernate apps to save battery life or clear cache to clean up space and it does everything else for you. Even letting you know what apps you don't use or old files so you can delete the stuff that's just taking up space.

AVG Cleaner came as an ad-sponsored app when I downloaded AVG antivirus. It works silently, in the background and politely asks, once or twice a day, if I want to clear unused, duplicate, or several other categories of files. It then shows you how much space you can reclaim by doing so. It simply gives you options, shows the potential gain, and leaves all the final decisions up to you -- great. I mostly ignored and dismissed this app the first couple of months, now I use it daily!

I used to love this app. It's now been split into so many pieces, with price rises & confusing (& incomplete) 'packages,' the whole thing is a mess. I've used AVG, exclusively, for at least a decade. Now going to move away because my subscription's fragmented into many different products & price points, AVG now ceels like my cable company -- take advantage of loyal customers & raise prices while reducing services. Not impressed. Positively, the anti-virus works v well.

Love this!! Can clean out caches, hibernate files etc. without accidentally getting rid of files I don't want to lose, all with a push of a couple of buttons. No more painstaking searches through each and every file to find more memory space each time I get low or my speed bogs down. I use this at least once a day if not more. Can't beat the price--FREE!!!

To be honest, I'm quite surprised. I thought this app would make my phone run slow, but no, It's actually really helping my phone. It also makes my phone run fast! I don't know if it actually cooled it down because my phone would always overheat at short periods of times, but now I can actually touch it! Though, because you installed the free version, there are many adds, but they don't interfere. This app will download another app, but that app is only to help it! A solid 10/10 from me
