I searched the same song OVER 20 times (I stopped counting) and every single time A DIFFERENT song was shown, not even 1 song twice. I did find some nice new tunes 🎵 but I am pretty sure that is not what this app was made and advertised as…

Garbage I got it because Google song search isn't that good and this isn't much better. A song will be blaring either in a public place or a movie and the damn thing can't find the song. Like what's the point? I got this app to find songs and it doesn't do that. Sometimes it find music so fast and ither times it just lags and find nothing. Disappointing.

Works well enough. But you cannot listen to the song anymore. There's only an Apple Music link. And when you click on it, it takes you to Google Play Store, even if you have the Apple Music app already installed. So basically this app gives you a track name but you need a PC on the side to google the name of the song to double check if that is indeed the right song or not. But Shazam used to work better than this, didn't it?

Works @finding a Song. It does NOT play Songs in my playlist without messing / chopping up the Audio being played back after the 2nd Song...Been like this for a year with no resolution. Yes, I have downloaded the latest version of the app. Yes, I have the latest OS on my phone. PLEASE, fix this issue. Thank you.

I love this app, it shows the exact song in matter of seconds and it's really impressive how I can find any music just by playing it once regardless of the language, it also tells me what music platform it's available in.

No result. Sorry, we didn't quite catch that. It never works, takes super long to recognise even a very popular song. The times it does recognise a song, the song is often wrong. There are no excuses for it being so bad. The google song search is simply superior to this in every single way, unfortunately google does not offer the option to recognise device audio, which I also need. Shazam does, but it's terrible. Shazam does not work.

Quick shortcut from the notification shade didn't work. I tried multiple times. By the time I opened the app that song was over. I'll improve this review when I find that song again.

Unfortunately, I can't give a better review because it refuses to set up on my smart phone. Why it keeps crashing and saying I'm offline even when I'm online is what I don't get. Any suggestion on how I can fix this? cuz I used Shazam on my previous phones and it worked just fine. Let me know, please. Edit: It's way better now. Had to edit.

Okay: I L*O*V*E THIS APP. It has, occasionally, had an inability to name a song. But only like twice. I do listen to a diverse spectrum of recording artists. But yeah: Shazam is ALL THAT & MORE. So worth having. It's identified songs for me many times, whereas n o t having it, I'd never have figured it out. I would hear Where Soul Meets Body by Death Cab For Cutie. I was convinced I was hearing Radiohead. Thank God for Shazam. Viva la Shazam!!!

"Manually remove duplicate shazams - button" feature needed in the top of Library page. On clicking the remove duplicates, it should reduce the no. of shazams by removing the older duplicates keeping the latest ones. But it should not automatically remove the latest shazam if detected as duplicate without acknowledging the user. This feature might be madly useful to all the Shazam users reducing the bulk of shazams in a smart way. Hope this review considered by the development team ASAP.

Good to have, although sometimes challenging to keep up with everything, more times than not, it delivers. There have been times where Shazam has caught music from distances away where I could just barely detect sound.

At first it was great, worked perfectly. Now, for the last few months it can't find ANYTHING, no matter how popular or loud the music . No updates, tried unloading and downloading again, nothing. So dissapointed!

When i tried to shazam "too cool for school"(rock), i have got "full circle"(rap) as the result. It just ridiculous. Luckily for me, that time i decided to search for the song on the spot. After i realised that those are different songs, i tried to reshazam it, but it didn't help. I found the song by lyrics. Dont trust this app. Check the results it gives you, guys

Great at finding songs but the I wish I quick settings button for the app opened a floating popup by default. No way of knowing whether its searching for the song or not and I dont often see a indicator that it found a song or not. So then I have to leave what I'm listening and go into the app itself just to make it work which is not ideal because what if I heard a song on the radio and it's almost done now I have to try to hum it to google assistant which might not work either

Excuse me, can this app capture music inside the device instead of the ones outside? It becomes very annoying when you work in a place where the same tunes get played repeatedly while the app can't listen to the music you're trying to identify inside your earphones, bonus points if the entire place has the phone service entirely down. God bless the programmers.

I really wanna thank this app's existence, it's really useful for me to find songs i really like anywhere I go, at any public places.. or whenever I rediscover songs i listened to & have liked a lot from childhood but never knew each of the songs' titles & the musicians until I started using this app. One of the weaknesses is that not all songs can be detected/are available here & after I Shazam 4/5 times there's still no result even though the internet connection elsewhere & sounds are fine

I really like this app as it has great functionallity and is very reliable. Only one issue. Theres a bug where if you close the shazam pop-up right as the lyrics pop up after finding a song, it doesnt leave, I tried reopening the pop-up, tapping the lyrics pop-up, just pressing on close and closing the app itself, but nothing works. I was forced to restart my phone as the pop-up blocked of that section of my phone.this was very anoying, but luckily an obscure bug. Still, please fix this asap.

Gradually getting worse. Once an app you could trust and now so unreliable that it's more an experiment than a tool. Also a long term issue over multiple updates that the overlap bubble sticks and will not remove from the screen. Just locks and no matter how much you press X or move it, close the app etc, nothing. You have to reset the phone or remove the app and reload. Beyond frustrating.
