1 star since they actually have a mobile app, however, it is the most dysfunctional one I've ever seen. Click something, nothing happens, 10 seconds later it remembers what you did 10 seconds ago and acts like you just clicked it, just to throw you at something else. Very slow and clunky at best.

Toggling a user's "notify when online" does not persist. Upon setting the radio button to off and navigating away (not hitting cancel), opening up the same menu again shows the "notify when online" switch set back to true. I currently get notified for users I do not want to get notified for and it is the most annoying thing.

Edit 10/23: after the update my trophy list looks warped. Love that they have a dark mode now, but I have "force dark mode" enabled on my phone, and it makes the app look terrible. I would turn it off, but this is the only app it affects. I did some digging and there is a way for the developer to communicate that the app already has a dark mode, so it won't force dark mode. Could you guys please look into that? I use this app a lot and it would be great to see it the way it was meant to be seen

Huge latency time on opening app (at a 1.1gb per second internet connection), chats can barely be accessed. Navigating app is hard given extremely long loading times for app to simply acknowledge you've done an action. If you use purely the notification bar to type in chats it works. However. Messages displayed here can be hours old and not display the current message in chat.

It's been months since this application worked properly. The PS+ section used to be super smooth, but now it just slows down the entire application. It's like walking wasit deep in mud. It's only the PS+ section, though, the rest of the application works fine. Please fix this.

Get rid of the stupid capture that locks you out of your profile. I tried both audio and visual capture passed the audio. However, I still could not log in. The visual is actually impossible. This is not what we pay for. It's absolutely ridiculous.

It's okay. I want to like it but it's nothing compared to the Xbox app. Sony Interactive has really been failing the consumers with their products over the last couple years. I can't even download or watch my uploaded game captures on this. Just taking up space on my phone at this point. Really disappointing

I'm quite frustrated with this app. it never allows me to sign in, always signs me out. and can barely ever connect to or establish a connection to the server. I've been trying to cancel subscription multiple ways but PlayStation is just Broken. and the only fix to "connect to server" is "Uninstall and Reinstall"?!?! c'mon now.

This app is horrendous. Don't get me wrong, it has great features, but the app is painfully slow and buggy and recently has started to crash frequently when using the captures section. Watching a video from captures is already hard enough because it is incredibly slow.

Now only shows games ypu play and whose online. Used to be able to send messages and join parties, but either through negligence, ignorance, or incompetence, that function no longer functions at all. The app no longer serves a purpose, and not worth the install unless you desire to see which of your friends are online.

Would be cool if any of the updates would actually fix anything in the app, instead of making it worse. Still waiting for an option to remove things from my wishlist that I've purchased, so I'm able to actually add anything to it. Also wish they'd removed the dumb digital collectibles, they don't add anything an probably just makes the app run worse than it already does. And the account management is absolute dogwater

I can't even get past the log in page. They give you a security puzzle that is time consuming to get through and majority of the time it says you failed and the end of it. If you happen to to eventually pass it, it takes you back to the log in page and the vicious cycle happens again! I just want to spend money and buy games! This needs to be rectified now

It has a lot of really useful features which is great. On a technical level though, it lacks the most basic things every decent Android app should have such as handling config changes (rotation or resize on foldable shouldn't crash the app) and state restoration (background the app at some place you want to return to later, use other memory heavy apps like social media with images and videos, then return to PS App, you won't return to where you left off).

Very buggy app. Switches between menus slowly or sometimes doesn't load at all. Viewing captures is impossible because anything outside of the most recent or second-most recent capture literally will never play or load (video or image), and cannot download, cluttering your phone's gallery with unplayable items. Please fix as it's the only way for me to share my captures to chat platforms without having to download off YouTube

Captures are really buggy, they take too long time nplay back, even after upload os finished, even after days after it got uploaded, to open a video or photo on the thumbnail list, it takes 30-60 seconds, and then the video or photo won't even show of play, to show the old grey icon for minutes. This has been happening for a long time, update come update goes and this isn't addressed

This app is great for PlayStation users. However Sony a lot of the time does things that do not make sense to me. For instance they just came out with Sony picture core, it does not seem to grab your movies that you have already purchased on the Play store, it does not appear to be able to be downloaded from anywhere, and none of the Sony content is linkable to movies anywhere or any other such apps. The movies on Sony picture core also seem to be more expensive than any other app.

Used to get text messages, somehow it has logged me out, impossible to pass on the visual puzzles, even the audio doesn't work, many times both and yet still can't pass. Even tried it on the computer but it's the same "IMPOSSIBLE" puzzles. Why did they get rid of the SMS? Anyone want to trade all my PS3,4 and 5 for a XBOX?

Good app. My biggest peeve with it is that I can almost never view my captured videos, and there's little nothing I can do to help the matter. If that was fixed, the rating would be higher. All in all, it's a good app if you want to check the prices on or buy games you want if you're away from your playstation.
