It is everything they say it is, saves me money that I wouldn't have without this fantastic app. User friendly and I'm definitely over the hill lol, so if I can do it anyone can use this app with ease. Also love that you can use you rewards card at fuel stops with it and it is like double dipping. Thank You Upside . Love that you have grocery stores and restaurants where you can also get a persentage back also!!!

Used this for over a year. Not a fan of the latest version, having to select paid for my gas "after" the purchase. Too easy to forget that step. Also have had experiences where the price was not correct, the distance to the station was incorrect. I have been using the app less lately as it's just too much effort for very little return. Dropped it to two... I lost a purchase today because I didn't select "paid" after the purchase, 35 minutes, claim disappeared, unable to submit it. RIP OFF!!!

I've had a lot of issues lately about my purchases not showing up on the app or my referral money not showing up on the app. I get email notifications but I can't transfer anything to my bank because it doesn't show the correct amount. The help center doesn't ever understand what I'm saying and won't fix the issue. It has also been taking so long to load and I even need to hard close out of it to find where I'm at when I'm sitting at the gas station. Might delete if these issues continue.

I was loving this app! No problems with my linked card ever. But most of last month most of my claims are coming back as expired and no proof. There's no way to reach support, just to fill out a form with one transaction at a time. *Edit Support has helped to make things right, I just really hope the glitch or issue gets fixed so I don't have to continue bothering them for something that should be working the first time.

The app will not upload my card because the numbers are on the back. Customer support has twice provided instructions to turn off a VPN that I do not have, and to uninstall & reinstall the app. Then they said to try another card, but I only have one! Then they dropped my issue for 2 weeks until I wrote another email to find out if they are doing anything about it. What I got back was an email about holding onto my receipts to be uploaded later. Which was NOT THE ISSUE!! Unistalling!!

App is worthless bc I can't add a payment method and click submit. I've reached out to them several times in emails and requesting their help. They haven't done anything to fix this despite my several requests. Everytime I add the payment information the button to confirm doesn't light up. I've got everything in there correctly and I have a couple other friends who have used it confirming I have everything correctly that this is a problem that Upside needs to fix. Waste of your time!!!

Easy and fun to use. The amount of savings offered is enough each time to where it ads up quickly instead of like most things where you save like 5 cent each time and takes forever to reach any kind of substantial amount to do anything with so usually you give up. Not with this app though. Cashing out is something to look forward to in the near future with amounts high enough to get a tank of gas for free or even taking the family out to dinner on the weekends or whatever you want. Its awsome!!

As a gig worker doing deliveries through 4 different apps, I spend a lot at the pump each week. I'm going to spend it anyways, so I might as well get a little bit of it back when I can. Recently I've had issues with the app saying there's an error and to try again later, which is sort frustrating because when I need gas, I need it NOW. Remembering to upload receipts later is a pain. I don't know which stations to go to in that case either since I can't search. I lost a lot of cash back bc of it.

Don't even bother with this app. It worked great the first time I filled up gas! Every single transaction after that showed up as "Expired-Missing Proof of Purchase". They'd show up as pending for weeks before finally being declined. I finally gave up hanging on to my receipts to validate purchases. I'd followed the steps and always used my linked credit card. They also pay out way less than whats shown before making your purchase. Pending transactions never came close to the correct amount.

Months later... still no improvement. Note to developers.... Need the ability to add a nickname to cards in the wallet. This would be a great enhancement. Also would be great to search for discounts by city, state,or address so that we can do some research prior to arriving on a trip. Otherwise, keep up the good work!

I like this app. Any app that gives me money in return for things I already do throughout my day is great by me! 😅 However, I truly wish they would add the ability to capture the receipts with multiple shots like other cash back apps. It makes receipts easier to read, and it prevents you from having to send some database photos of the interior of your home or car or wherever you are when you upload your receipt because you have to hold it so far away. Gas receipts are long!

Update: once the card issue was fixed, I have been able to use the app often and getting cash back. Now to figure out why those I invited aren't showing up in my network. A friend just introduced me to this app. It won't let me add any cards. It just goes in a loop. When I confirm the numbers, it takes me to the previous screen. Not a helpful app it I can't actually use it.

Would love to give it 5 stars because it's so simple to use, but sometimes it doesn't always capture the locations I'm at. Also I don't like how it shows what the price would be with the cash back in large print. I want to see the actual price too figure out what I want to do. I can see it through the crossed out number, but very difficult to see WHILE ON THE ROAD. With circle k you only list the price if you're a member. Not all the prices are correct :/

Some of the cash back offers are annoying ( Dunkin for ex., you pay through the app and you still have to have the UP "gift card" in order to receive the cash back. This cancels out ordering ahead of time, since you have to wait on line for the cashier to scan it.) Other than that I think they have great customer service. The cash back for me is never more than a buck or 2 and not every store works with UP. I appreciate the cash back on items I spending on anyway.

Until recently the app worked great but now it can't find any offers at all. I cleared the cache and no luck. I reinstalled the app again no luck. I tried to get answers through the chat but the automated responses have nothing to do with the issue. Not sure what changed but no matter where I searched, even when selecting random areas throughout the US, there's no offers.

I had a pretty big issue with this app when I began using it, so I stopped for a long time. With gas prices on the rise, I decided every little bit helped, and I started using it again. I read "little reward" in a couple of the reviews, but it actually adds up pretty quickly - faster than some other rebate apps I use. Besides, is it better to take a month getting to $10 or just never getting the $10? It's not a get rich quick scheme. It's a rebate app.

Your new map is terrible! Everything is grey and faded out, and you don't show town/city names. Also, every time I use another screen (usually a real map to try and figure out where I am since your map is almost useless) and come back to the app, I am moved back to my current location. I use this for road trips and am looking sometimes 50-75 miles ahead. It is beyond annoying when I am suddenly moved back to my driving location and have to start my search all over again! Please fix these issues!

In the begining everything worked well. Then I added in some fleet cards. Then a few months later 75% of my claims failed to complete. After a boat load of time, I figured out the problem.... ***Update: The app changed the software for cards. Now they separate the personal and Fleet cards. Delete cards and reinstall them. So far so good. As of 5/18/23 the app is working well. Amazing how support staff had no idea how to help me out. Another update: this software takes up a HUGE amount of storage
