Every time the app is updated, it creates new issues. I cannot review the saved trips I have spent years creating. I cannot scroll through all my saved trips before the app locks up. With the newest update, I cannot save a new find to a saved trip. I only have the option to create a new trip. I tried to change the cover photo on a saved trip and it does not save/change it. Now having issues with website, which was more reliable. Looking for a new travel app. I've lost faith in TripAdvisor.

The information in the app is great. The app itself has gone way downhill. It used to allow you to use saved "trips" offline. Not anymore. What is even worse is the APPS connectivity problems. I can be right by a cell tower or wifi router and it can't connect to the internet. I have to sit and push retry too many times to connect This happens on both my mobile phones. It is REALLY annoying and renders the app useless when exploring a city you have researched before going.

This App is good and bad. I find it very useful for planning a trip to a new area. But, beyond being a good a research tool, it begins to fall down. Booking tours through the site is cumbersome. I booked a 3 tours, then the app double booked them. I got it fixed, I hope, after 45 min on the phone . Now to wait some weeks until the $866 for the double booking gets refunded. I don't like that the booking timed out, made me go back to my cart again, then double booked when I finally hit book now.

Wealth of information, and solid number of reviews. However app works poorly in low bandwidth (which when you're traveling is ALWAYS). Pages and lists load much much slower than web pages or sometimes not at all. Navigation is decent, but it is not straightforward how to find specialty lists (ie sometimes you see an activity is #3 out of 50 of ourdoor sports in a town, but you can't press onward to that list, or find it elsewhere easily).

A trusted Travel App. When I'm planning a trip the first thing I do is go to Trip Advisor. I use "Plan", and save it. I organize my tripby name and save, Places to See, hotels, and restaurants . You can add notes too. I read and trust the reviews, it has never disappointed me. I also review the places I've saved to help other travelers. Trip Advisor let's you save your Planned trip so I can go back years to see the places I've been to.

I love being able to look everything up and compare prices so easily. I hate how on several occasions I have looked up plane tickets, refreshed my screen, and the tickets that were literally 650 are now 820. This has happened to me several times, and i don't think its just "price fluctuating". Literally find the tickets, and the screen refreshing jumps the price by around $200 at least.

always helpful. I enjoy giving reviews too, and then another other Travelers can know about the gems that are along the roadways and hidden in the towns we all zip past too quickly. and there are a few stinkers that I have encountered. it's good to be able to warn others about things that might go wrong on their trip. No one wants to try to check in hotel after hours on the road, and find out nobody's there to let you in. Overall It's a wonderful tool. I really enjoyed sharing my photos too.

Trip advisor used to be better. Now, having sold out to advertisers and changing the structure of their listings to accomodate that, it has become noticeably less useful. One example, you can no longer simply see an entire list starting at #1 of the best things to do in any given location. They break it up into multiple lists and don't give the user a way to simply view all the things to do, by order of ranking. I used to swear by Trip Advisor. Unfortunately, now not so much.

This app has gone downhill. i used to use this site to find tour companies for different cities i visit. That is very difficult now. Instead of finding tour guides based on travelers ratings, when selecting "Tours" under "Things to Do", you just get a list of tours they want you to book. I'm very, very disappointed in TripAdvisors recent changes.

I really enjoy TripAdvisor. I use it for day trips, weekend getaways, and vacations. There are reviews by other travelers and you can ask questions about your destination. You can book your trip through the app. It's very convenient and easy to use. Plan spur of the moment trips and getaways or do advanced planning for a trip in the future. You can save places to favorites, ex. I have a trip with saved places for our anniversary getaway, and I'm saving places for a planned trip to Iceland.

Not bad! The app pretty much does what you would expect of a travel app. The info provided on many lodging options could use a little refinement. Specific information is sometimes not easy to obtain and I have to visit the hotel's site itself. This rather defeats the purpose of going to the TripAdvisor app in the first place. I expect this however as all the travel apps I've used have this problem at times. No surprises...three stars.

Very good app! If you're planning a trip or even looking for local options, you need this app. It's definitely one of my most used apps for a reason. It's very informative and helpful. It allows you to save things you find at a location to your "places" list that you create so when you go, open your saved destination and have at it. I planned a weeklong Vegas trip of things to do, places to eat, etc this way and never missed a thing. I ran out of vacation before I did options! Highly recommended

I have many reviews on this app, with many people reading them. I find some inaccuracies at time. restaurants and hotels must have more information like the year they were built, opened, remodelled, etc. many times I visit restaurants with good pictures, but the actual place would be dirty and old. same goes with hotels. age is pretty important, and condition is also very essential. this app does not reflect this issue.

I would appreciate it if when I add something to a trip list you wouldn't have the notification interfere w\ scrolling, and don't make it last so long. It literally blocks the whole screen for 12 seconds, and I can't do anything until it goes away. That's really frustrating! Enough with the Ads! If I'm looking at specific things to do in a specific location, I don't want to accidentally touch an ad for Illinois or Louisiana; I'm not visiting those places! I would just like common sense!

I've grown to refer to Trip Advisor in one way or another for ALL of my trips. The traveler's photos and reviews are always helpful. I, myself, contribute reviews and photos, so I have more trust in the review and can get a "truer" gauge of the place. I love being able to save places in a file during my research and planning. Great app!

I love this app because when a restaurant's really really good I love ❤️ to tell everybody about it! So that you can get amazing food too! But more because when a restaurant is terrible and services terrible you get a heads up and get to decide if you want to take a chance or not. Also there are so many experiences that we've had in our travels is always nice to have a voice I tell a good things and bad from a hotel experience to an adventure park... Thanks for making all of our opinions count!

Not feeling the new app. When you use to search for things to do, they would actually give you a list of things to do, very helpful! Now you get some weird "social media" page of pictures and videos people posted about that location. NOT HELPFUL! It's like they're trying to keep up with social media platforms like Instagram. If I want a social media page, I'd go to my IG account! Stick to your purpose! Helping people find helpful info on travel destinations.

I've had this app on different phones for years. But this year they've made some huge changes I don't like. A new instagram layout that's unnecessary. It added in links to various booking sites that I have no interest in and keep clicking in by accident because they're in the way. Also there are now a ton of glitches. My saved trips lists are suddenly no where to be seen as of today. There was a time where I kept getting kicked out and pictures wouldn't load. This app is really failing a lot.
