Description of UAEICP

This application allows locals, residents, and visitors of the United Arab Emirates to benefit from the services of the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs & Port Security like visas, residencies, payment of fines, printing the family book, renewal of passport for the citizens and many other services.
Summary of the services:
Apply for a residence entry permit for your family members. Apply for new residence for your family members. Renew residence permits for your family members Apply for cancelling resident for any sponsored under your sponsorship Apply for a visit visa for your relatives You can generate the travel status report and the list of people you sponsor . Check your residence and entry permit status Request a new or renew your UAE passport Print the family book for locals Extend your on arrival visa Pay fines of visas and residencies.

Interesting how they have such a high rating considering all reviews are "very bad". One trip I found was not to use Chrome, use firefox or something like that. This said, even using another browser, it doesn't recognise my login then when I request a password reminder, I don't receive an email at all so I can't get back in. Awful service!

It has been impossible for tourists to fill in the form for registering their Covid vaccines. The cell phone field has no enough space to enter my complete number (00 XX + XX + xxxxx xxxx). At least two characters can not be entered. So, I was not able to receive the application approval through SMS. It is crucial because when I try to use Al Hosn app, the cell phone numbers registered in both apps don't match and vaccines information are not displayed. Yet, drop-down fields don't work.

Excellent App! UAE Government living up to the high standards of Digital world! TIP: If you face difficulty in uploading soft copy of photo, it's not because of size but mostly likely because the photo content may not be fully compatible with expected standards. It is suggested to make use of professional studio or well known printing companies like Desco to get the right copy and size of the photo soft copy!

When you try to renew the risedency it gives you an error, when I spoke to customer service, they know about the error... It's been more than a month when is it going to fix it?? Down graded to 1 star, as my app was returned, not only the questions are not clear but now I have a permeant error of attachments exceeding 9MB, it's like I have nothing else in life except didn't v6 to 7 hours on simple request I also got ignored when I have this app 2 stars.. others would call you back.

Cannot register (same issue as the website) as the app crashes every time I try to select the phone number field. The automatic fill-in for the Arabic family name also doesn't show, though it does for the Arabic full name. Cannot access the "modify personal information" data as it shows a nonsensical error. Again same as the website.

Unable to register. After I put my EID number, it showed a different mobile number on records for verification. Which was odd. And there was no option to change, delete or add. The next step was to put Passport details and after inputting all details it should wrong info. Tried this several times thinking I may have typos, but was not the case. Country's official app should not have such errors.

The app works very well in general, providing electronic copies of key documents without having to scan them. The UAE Pass integration is excellent. Unfortunately, PDF download doesn't seem to be working at the moment on Android 13. Hopefully this will be resolved soon.

Limited menu for regular user, that doesn't cover what the customers need. "Secret" menu only available for typing centers. The only way to resolve these kind of problems by the customer is to use a typing center or other "typing companies". This app is supposed to be helping regular customers to not depend on typing centers and can do the needed services online, to save time and money. But this app is doing the opposite. Very confusing to use and disappointing service.

To those people that faced any problems uninstall the app and install it again it will work. I was facing some problems and I just tried deleting the app and gave it another go and it worked perfectly. Although this is something that developing team should have noticed and did something about... at minimum they could have posted a notification on the app when you open it.

It's good to start the application but at the end I have to go to my laptop to complete the application. It just keeps saying that app does not have permission to access images but I gave permission to access images. Plz fix this.

The renewal of passport and Emirates ID makes it time saving and effortless with the use of this app. Very convenient.

I can't login the app even I put my correct email and password it's showing incorrect I waste my 1 hour It just waste of your time I don't like it I am so disappointed regarding this app

The option to renew my daughter's visa and ID is not anymore appearing.

This was a good app with many useful features. But since the past year or so I cannot login to the app even if I use UAE pass. Every time I try to login it shows Error: No data found and the screen is stuck on the loading animation. I can see my details in the background but I cannot do anything. I can access my account on the ICA website so clearly it's some issue with the app.

I wasted one hour on this. The email link to register to the app will take you to the website where you have to click to go to the app. Unnecessary. A few times happened that by the time the email arrived the link was expired. When I eventually tried to fill in the registration in the app it would not allow me to fill in the password and confirm password, the keypad would appear and disappear. The online application on the web was at least working, now it takes you to this useless app.
