it really annoys me that caviar delivery just double parks in neighbor's driveway texting and expects me to know they are there rather than just ringing the front door bell. when catering for work this has been even worse bc they don't bother going to reception but rather sit outside the building and then cancel the order if I don't catch a text from an unknown number. i'm using because I have a broken arm and can't cook for family and mobile interface is easy. service is a missed opportunity.

Very difficult to use. It is difficult to search for food items and the fees are higher than other delivery apps. The phone verification process also seems to be broken. This version of the app feels worse than the older version it did before Doordash acquired them. It also seems like they don't really help the delivery person, my delivery person was lost and Carviar did not provide any contact info or guidance to the delivery person. The other apps are better for NYC.

Immediately unusable upon downloading. App greets u with "hiii" that seems to be a never-ending loading screen with no indication of actually loading. Eventually (after maybe 2 hours) a search bar appears. Suggestions will come up when typing in types of food, but none are selectable and nothing actually loads. I can see why I randomly got a voucher to use the app in the mail, as it seems that because of the app's lack of actual functionality may have trouble keeping people using it consistently

New update to app is nigh unusable. So many bugs that should have been caught during production. If the whole purpose of this update was to sync with dashpass, then at least get that right. No one wants to look at a map to show potential pickup locations, then want to know what food is available within a set radius.

I like that caviar has better restaurants than other apps. The tracking wasn't clear first few times I used the app because the driver is indicated by a small caviar icon which looks similar to orange map features. I saw no way to contact the driver. Also, to get help with an order you have to leave the app and login to their desktop version of the website. Customer service is great. I had a missing item, so the refunded the amount of that item and added a $5 credit to my account.

This app isnt property optimized for Android 13. My phone lags horribly when the app is running. I have to go into the overview screen just to refresh the app while using it. I've uninstalled the app and reinstalled to see if the issues persist and confirmed that issues return upon installation. I do not have any issues when the app isn't on my phone.

never receive real help and support i have had missing items photo of a WHOLE spilled order and even a botched delivery not one credit or refund even for a hair in my soup, 1 star for greed

It would be nice it they had a like button or a favorites option. To save resturants you want to try, then they would get a 5 star.

I was under the impression that there would be NO delivery charge for the first time use and at first the charge had a line through it and a zero charge was present but when all was said and done there WAS A delivery charge..Also, Caviar wanted a rating immediately, even B4 I was even through my food ordering process and I did not think that was fair. Another thing is I was trying to use a 100$ visa gift card and I ended up adding some sushi which bumped my bill up to 79& and I was told I didn'

I should be able to explore restaurant options in whichever city I'm visiting, but Caviar won't allow that. It only ever shows options in your home city.

Placed an order around 8:30 am to be delivered between 11:50-12:10 for my half hour lunch at work. No Dasher was assigned until past 12, then my delivery time kept getting later and later. No option to reconcile the issue until 12:45 if my order hadn't shown up. So basically I had to wait until my lunch time at work was over to even know if I was getting lunch or not. By then it's way too late to order anything else. Never using this again.

Doordash/Caviar has bad customer service and doesn't do anything to help you if your order is incorrect. They just say there's nothing we can do and steal your money. Also, their delivery men don't obey orders at all and then argue with you. They don't read the instructions. Refuse to deliver to your door. Also refuse to obey contactless delivery.

Honestly used to love this app but now I can't even log in. Service used to be great until a cafe that I order from frequently started shorting my orders. I would order a bagel and 3 out of 5 times the bagel would be missing. They issued refunds for the first few times and now it seems like there's a flag on my account. How is it my fault that the restaurant didn't send something that I paid for? Not a great service if you order frequently. Poor customer service and now issues with the app...

So far this is a 100% awesome application!! They deliver late just like I desperately needed during my current pregnancy and Mexican food cravings!! The restaurant accepted my delivery order extremely quick and as I'm tracking my order online I am amazed I will actually receive my order and be eating the delicious Mexican food in less than 20 minutes of placing my order!! You can't get more amazing than than I believe!!
