The app was awesome and they killed it. It's very hard to use as you can't even chat normally with people. Sometimes conversations juste disappear and the videocall just make the application crash. It's too bad because it used tu be an awesome website

I began to use this app yesterday and I've been constantly spammed with messages to my lock screen. The properties they offer in London are hugely overpriced, compared to other websites and they sort of bully you with this messages while you are logged on. There are no settings to stop this so it is a direct line to the property speculators. Only useful if you have loads of money, in which case you would not use a app like this one. Uninstalling in 3, 2, 1...

This app was great until they recently decided that choosing a roommate is the same as running a hotel. Clearly they don't understand the struggles of renting a room and the dangers of agreeing to rent the room in your house to someone who sends you one single message. You're better off putting your room ad on Facebook and Idealista, at least you can talk to the person who's interested in the room to get a better idea of who and how they are before agreeing to anything.

It's really useful and the app even makes the process of seeking accommodation entertaining. Some of the things I hated about the app are: bills included or not should be shown at the feed of the available rooms; if the mates or landlord are not looking for a men then why showing me those rooms strictly for women? That was quite upsetting

The name is "badi"; that should be the clue; bad,so bad & not the ironic street sense. Uninstalled two years ago,retried 30min,when they decided to charge for seeing possible candidates. Even before was pretty useless: you can only complete registration but indicating interests/tastes: music, film etc so they can match with people of similar ones.....why? I offer a room; I don't need a person who likes what I like; exchange of ideas/culture brings people together,sharing opposite interests.

Lots of scammers and fake adverts on here. Beware! There's listings of the exact same room from different people. There's other listings for £600 in the middle of London for extremely fancy flats, asking you to get in touch outside of the app (scam alert...) The worst thing is, the people listing these flats all have a 'Trusted' status on them, making them all look legit. Take that status away from them, and remove their scam listings from the app. It's a waste of time & malicious.

It's great in that the people looking for rooms really are. I wish I could write something to those people BADI sends as interested. As is, it's simply an invitation. There have been people whose descriptions would have matched perfectly, but no extra message can be sent to highlight some of their preferences that you know your home offer exceeds in.

Downloaded this app and gave up within a couple minutes. It might work well for Europeans but it's not friendly for Americans at all. For example, I tried to enter the square footage of my property and it wouldn't allow it - I realized it only accepted square meters. I'll use an American roommate app instead.

This app is lacking tons of functionality you'd expect or want from this type of app. Badi also allows agents to post faux properties to bait people into their agency, because Badi does not check to see what's legitimate or not. You get baited in by nice photos and then the description is 'lots of nice double rooms available across London' er, what about the one in the photos? This shouldn't be allowed. Expect to waste tons of time in this app. The filters are lacking. Fake ads. Can't hide ads

Not at all happy with the app.. Seems like no control on the posters... All the posts are fraud especially the ones in London where I was looking for...one such poster asked me to make the payment without viewing the flat. And when I did further more research on Google. Could find the exact same pictures of the flat in Germany.

"Pay Premium or leave!" I had an account listings hidden cause I stopped paying premium and waited a bit too long to analyse the tenants and reply to them later. Created a 2nd account, denied most of them promotly, only took my time to wait for an enquire of a couple more tenants and BANG, listing hidden again! They really push the 15€/Month premium,which is too high for individuals and Agencies have taken over the space, Ruining the experience for both Sides!

Was introduced to Badi by a friend, it's a great app he said! Your advertiser are the worst, there's no courtesy towards the people who ask for rooms, many advertisers only one want male or female renters, but your search engine doesn't have that filter for the people looking, prices are often wrong because there's no way to search for accommodation that includes or excludes bills. So often as a renter we are given a time limit but the renters can ignore us... What a sham

So I have used to it to find a room in London. However I was very lucky. I would give it initially 3-4 stars, because app is pretty stable, easy in use, good filtering,nice map picking, decent payment system, decent in app communication, howveer there are 2 things that changed my mind. Firstly, App in London is polluted with Agents from third party Estate agencies, who create profiles, create fake property adverts. The moment you request the property they cancel it and message you asking to message them on whatsapp and arrange meeting with them so they can show you what other properties they have availbale. Literally 90% of properties on Badi are run by the same 3 Estate agencies. I walked into all 3 of them and there was literally around 100 people in each, doing precicely that. Faking adverts, and luring people in to see what other properties are availbale. Pretty sure that was not an original idea of the app, and completely defeats the point of it. Second reason is a customer complain handling from their marketing team. Since I've used the app I've made connection with CEO of Badi on Linked in. He recently posted something about the app, so I left a comment explaining the situation with their application in London. 5 minutes later I get notification that "Marketing person form Badi" views my profile and comment was gone(that marketing person deleted it). No response to it, no messaged on linked it to give feedback. Literally middle finger. I dunno how the situation looks like in other cities, but avoid it in London, waste of time, you might as well go on Estate agents website, same thing.

It used to be a nice app, very useful to find roomates, but they decided to change their business model charging a lot of money to both, tenants and hosts. Since there are other options out there, just as or more effective as this one, I am no longer using the app.

good but could be better The idea of the app is good, however listing do not change for weeks in the most important areas (ex: Barcelona) and a lot of people tend to ignore invites or decline to talk... probable I would choose the old fashion renting because also a lot of info is not provided ( listings with one photo:/) and why is there no filter for deposit if it is a field included in the app? Review on bug update: even with the fixes, the app still lets users to put deposit not specified...

I really like the idea and with a couple of adjustments this can be something for the future. First; Let us adjust the price range so that this who invite and request are on the same page in terms of the price Second; If you're already have booked a place, make you're status as booked and from when you are available to rent from So with few adjustments the app can find profiles with more solid matches and that would make it more effective and easy to use.

The messaging system functions very badly, the application tries to control how you communicate in order to stop you booking outside of the app. This led me to being locked out of a conversation with the only option being to request to book the apartment when I had not even been able to visit it.

This app is riddled with Agents pretending to be flatmates. You see the same images for different rooms over and over again - for properties that have long been filled and are there to lure you. The agents all constantly insist you visit thier offices before seeing the property. If i wanted a traditional estate agent...i wouldn't be using this app. It's not the app designers fault per se, but they could do with clamping down on the 'verified' or trusted user status.
