This is getting a low rating for three reasons. 1. You set a budget, but it keeps recommending and showing results outside of your budget with no way to filter out budget stretches. 2. Can't filter for balconies. 3. No way to filter out apartments that arent available, so you have to shift through a bunch of extra junk. I gave it one extra star, because their app does technically function, but those devs really need to step up their game on filtering.

I'm giving the stars because it's easy to use and gives me the fastest results than any other app. Why I didn't give it 5 stars: Zumper seems to have more listings, Sometimes images of Apartments are shown in a negative coloring, and It only shows Apartments in the US (well, yeah, that's not a problem for me, but what about people who need to move to Canada or Mexico?). Other than that, I would 8 out of 10 recommend to a friend.

The basic filter function needs to improve. If someone says their maximum rent is $1400, the search results need to reflect that the way they do on Zillow; you can tell this app was designed by people living on a software engineer's salary. There also needs to be a "not interested" option that can remove apartments from the search results to reduce clutter, and an option to list sublets as sublets rather than studios so you don't get the old "surprise, it's not a studio, it's just a room!"

The option to share a link to a posting seems to have disappeared, and you can't click on an address to copy it either. This makes searching for an apartment with someone else extremely difficult. That's in addition to other annoyances with the app, like the constant need to log back in, and how it couldn't seem to save my login info or trigger my phone's password saving function.

Works fine for the most part however if you click on any apartment to view more details the app glitches out and you can't return to your search, the only way to go back to the list of apartments is to re-do your search. UPDATE 01/08/21: The new update for the app has fixed all the issues I had with the app. It works very well and I have not found any bugs yet. The new User Interface is much easier to understand and in my opinion is very pleasing to the eye. Very happy with the app overall 10/10

the amount of available listings, especially within price ranges is extremely limited and average review scores are just complete nonsense. so many listing have a handful of reviews with mostly negative, one star reviews or even no reviews but the app still claims a 4 star average. i do find it much easier and cleaner to navigate than apps like zillow but where Zillow will at least show me 50 results within set filters, apartments only shows me 5.

I honestly don't get why they include "No availability" places in the map results. These should be filtered out. Also, those map results that display a large bottom panel is really annoying for quickly browing different pins because it covers almost the entire map. Also a way to persist the last used search filters and location would be great so I don't have to specify them everytime I launch the app. All the other rental apps do this like Trulia and Hotpads.

Better to just use a browser, the app omitts listings that are visible via the website. This just makes searching even more frustrating. Been looking for places getting annoyed that listings were not showing only to find out that the app itself is omitting many listings, including listings that are exactly in my search parameters. Even using the same saved search will render different results via app and direct website view via browser. This app is a waste of time & phone memory, stay away.

False advertisement is out of control. There needs to be some way to filter out "rooms for rent" and there need to be consequences for parties incorrectly categorize listings. As the app stands right now, single rooms in multi-room houses are being listed as studios and even as 1 bedroom apartments. The only way to differentiate is to hope the lister responds to your email to schedule a viewing. The app needs to define the listing types and enforce those definitions.

This is a great app. Better than zillow because it shows more locations and the picture ui is better. However, the start date filter is broken. I put in September 1st and I get tons of May 1st listings. It's a waste of my time to look at all these listings. If that gets fixed, it's 5 stars.

Seems inaccurate between the website and this app. You have some apartments listed on the website in a certain city, but searching the app shows no results (no filters added). Scrolling is a bit sensitive for some reason.

I was forced to move to this app from Cozy. It works about the same. Has regular loading and freezing issues like Cozy but gets the job done. It could be so much more if they focused on user experience for the tennant and manager more. All in all good just a clunky system.

Love searching for potential places to move to with this app. It is really user friendly and you can filter by basically whatever you're wanting in a new place! Definitely download it you won't be disappointed.

You can only search in the area you are physically located in it. I can't search out of my area. Who did this app Do they think that everybody wants to stay in the same neighborhood When finding a complex I tap that icon on the map and get nothing. Did it countless btimes.. I don't want to stay in this neighborhood. So I just will choose another app to look for an apartment. Your rolled this new app out too early and didn't work out the bugs.. You stand to lose lots of revenue

Crashes after about 3-10 minutes of use. It recommends to try emptying cash (didn't fix). I reinstalled it ( didn't work). Running a 1tb S23 ultra that is flawless and fast. I have never had this happen with any app on this phone.

Filter options doesn't work! And prices are false, they show one price but when you inquire they are 200-300 more??!! Also shows everything, not just available 1 bedroom apartments. So you waste time trying to weed out lazy apartment managers who show units available but when you call they don't have anything till 6-8 weeks. Won't filter apartments out when searching for houses.

This app needs an update. No matter how many times I thumbs down a listing , it never goes away. So I have to scroll through almost 20 listings w/a maybe, just to see new listings. Your sorting is off. Filters don't work, yeah, it really isn't working for me on. S-21

Good app, I think it's set on letting the owner or manager know right away as I was contacted 5 minutes after submitting an application and eventually found a place of my own at a good price! I've used Hotpads before but they spam me so much and although the UI is fun to use, there are many people that have expired listings or inaccurate ones.
