I love the map search idea but it's very frustrating. After viewing a listing the pink dots turn white. Great idea but the white dots keep turning back to pink. The number of listing dots also changes depending on how you have the map zoomed in or out. These things make it extremely difficult to keep track. If these issues were fixed it would make for a wonderful experience!

I really like this app, but I have some suggestions. 1. I've shared my favorites with my wife, and she with me. The only way we can see each other's favorites is via email? Why can't we see each other's favorites IN THE APP? 2. The app gets slower after time, especially when viewing favorites and then going to the map. Eventually the app just crashes. I think there's a serious memory leak. Honestly the crash is really bad, but I'd rather the favorites issue be fixed first. I can think of some other improvements to the favorites sharing too, like sharing notes.

Love this app. It's easy to use and hit a ❤ button and it's saved for you to go back and see again. Photos , description of condos, houses, apts. Are all well photographed and clear to understand the subject youvare looking at. It is also very detailed oriented. I think it might be the best or one of the beat apps for house, apt, or condo hunting out there.

I'll be fair and say that I don't know if this is an "app issue" or just me being signed up with them, but I'm getting bombarded with emails daily. I've tried to unsubscribe through their emails and turned off the notifications on the app but alas, more emails. I'm not trying to slam anyone, just explaining what I've been expecting. Aside from that, the app is really nice. Lots of options and easy to use. Good information about the houses too. *UPDATE: They fixed my issue within mins of posting.

Works well for me in viewing properties, getting a visual of the topography, and gauging distances to surrounding amenities. Occasionally, I select filters, and it doesn't show any properties, but can see on the listing map they're a red dot, and upon opening several in the area of where I'm looking w/those selected filters, I see they should be a result. Doesn't happen often, a little annoying when it does. Otherwise, for me, seems to give me lots of information and details I'm seeking.

Seems it's gotten more difficult to use the "for sale by owner" feature. Now you have to go into settings and switch from agents to fsbo. Before they where on the same page. The "contigent and pending" feature was a valuable tool also but no longer exist. Really helped to see what was selling. On the positive side, zillow does let you know what kind of interest there is on a property with their "views and saves" feature. For me, a valuable feature. All in all a good tool.

I just downloaded it again after some time of not having it and installed it. This app is not user friendly. Maybe I overlooked an option to view the the available houses as a whole and be able to scroll and get a quick snapshot of them?! I don't want to view houses based off red dots on a map not have to click back and forth between "agent listings" and "other". Sorry, Zillow but I'll stick with the realtor app. Good luck.

New update is frustrating. It took me a while to realize that the listing are split in two now even for updates on saved searches. I don't think the vast majority of people looking to buy care if it is an agent listing or not. So this feature could have been added as a filter to appease those who want it, while allowing the app to remain user friendly. I love changes/progress, but not all change is good.

I like this app, overall, but would really love to have the ability to hide or dismiss a property from my search, if it's not one that meets my needs. I like that I can save homes, but when searching later, homes keep popping up that I would rather not look at again! Also, if there is a way to get HOA/Space rent to be mandatory when there is one for the property, that would be great. I've looked at many that stated there was none, but that wasn't true. Thanks!

Add the ability to hide listings. It's a complete waste of my time to scroll through the ones I already know I'm not interested in, over and over. And please get rid of that stupid slide bar when searching by price. It's ridiculously difficult to set a price range. Edited to drop another star. Constant notifications about the same houses over and over, and notifications about old favorite listings that have already sold. Uninstalled.

This app is pretty spot on. It let's you filter and save your searches to weed out any properties that don't fit your criteria. Whether, it's in a location that you're not interested in moving to or if you want a pool, big yard, fireplace, etc. It notifies you if the status of your saved properties has changed, it also let's you know if something new that matches your saved search turns up. If you get tired of the daily notifications you can just shut them off through the app settings. 👍

It doesn't always open into the app when you click on notifications. When I go into the app the updates tab doesn't always work either. Most of the time it's a blank page. While I think they sometimes have houses listed you can't find on other apps it doesn't compete very well with ease of access. Makes it frustrating to use and not worth searching continuously on here.

I've used zillow for years, weekly even, just for fun. Since the new update, it's almost impossible to find anything. Suddenly overnight everything listed under "Houses" is land and commercial property. Plus you used to be able to filter out contingent gomes! Feels very spammy now. The new separation of "agent listing" and "other" doesn't really make sense. I really wish I had the old version back. I'll probably switch to a new app.

I've had a good experience overall with this app, which has worked great for me ever since I got it several years ago. Recently I noticed that for some reason it's not loading the home facts when I click on a house, and seems to lag for a bit when I click on a listing, or saved search. I'm not sure if it's somthing on my end or the app itself, but either way I'd like it fixed.

Edit: now I can't even sign in. Nothing happens when I enter my email address. But somehow, I still get listing updates (which I cannot access). I can't believe this is still happening. What a wreck of an app. There must've been an app update. The app has barely worked (if at all) for the past 3-4 weeks. Can't search, can't view saved searches, blank white screen when opening a link, it's unusable.

I generally prefer the website when I'm on my PC, but do like viewing individual homes when I get alerts. I like the convenience. One glitch is the mapping feature, specifically the directions. First, it selects your current location as the start, which is rarely what a user needs. Second, it immediately starts the navigation, which is annoying because that is normally set to full volume.

For the past few months now, the app simply does not work when you apply any filters to your search... it just comes back with "request error" and shows nothing, asking to reset all filters even when there are several homes in the map area that fit the filters. Very infrequently, it will actually work but as soon as you move the map in a way it doesn't like, back to "request error". And even if you reset the filters, it does the same "request error" until you clear the cache.

For the most part I like this app better than any other real estate app, it's easy to use and understand. The one thing I really wish they had was a way to eliminate options from the searches. For example, if the home I'm looking at has 2.5 bathrooms and we really need a full 3 bathrooms that's an automatic no. But it still meets my criteria for the search so it keeps popping up. You can tag it, but your tags only show up if it's on your favorites list.
