With the app, you'll earn points with every qualified food and beverage purchase to redeem for free food - all while climbing up our Loco Tiers. Start as a Pollito and work your way up to a Pollo Loco!

Use the El Pollo Loco app to conveniently order from the menu, save your favorites, pay in advance, request delivery, order catering, view tier status, and earn and redeem points for free food. Place an online order and either skip the line when you pick up, or order delivery direct to your door.

Tried to use a "limited time offer." The offer details said redeem at checkout online but never gave me the option to redeem it up until I was about to process the payment of $29 something that was supposed to be a $20 Family meal. smh pointless app if that's how it's going to act, didn't go through with the purchase and ended up using a less-of-a-deal paper coupon instore

App worked great up until the recent upgrade, sometime in March 2023. Now I can't even log in. Hoping they resolve that issue soon. Already lost $30 worth of points. Update 9-6-2023 I am still not able to log in. I am losing out on earning points. I did get a call from the corporate office that they working on issue but that was a while back.

New app takes a long time to come up and freezes. Doesn't work half the time and is more hassle than it's worth. Love the food, will keep going but Don't always use the app at checkout. It takes too long and makes extra work for the employee to scan while trying to process your order. Please go back to the old system, it worked well.

This app does not work properly. the only way to use rewards is to be physically at the store. Rewards do not work on the app. Can see them but can't use them. Another issue is scaning the receipts for points when visiting the store is done. So with the new app there is two choices. 1. Order online and void rewards. Or 2. Pay at the store and loose the points for that sale. Great job with the new app El Pollo Loco. Missed the old app when it just worked l.

App is very glitchy. It is specifically inconvenient to not be allowed to pull up discount/rewatd qr codes after it closes on itself while I wait to to the window after order is placed in the drive-thru, this gives for a very awkward and frustrating conversation with window clerk. Annoying

Your old app was workable, like getting to offers and special deals. I've given up on the latest, it's confusing and gives me a frustrating runaround. I'm therefore not the customer I used to be. Needs to be simpler and to the point without all the hype.

I can't even put an order in.. It always says error validating basket.. I can't add any rewards, and a lot of the time this garbage app freezes... I haven't eaten at El Pollo loco in weeks because this app does not work. sure I could walk up and make an order but by rewards won't work, and by the time I need the app it crashes.. it's just really bad

There's no way to get support from within the app for incorrect orders. This is a basic thing from the other ordering apps, whether it's DoorDash or restaurant-specific like Chipotle. The store I go to uses sealed bags that can't be used after opening (the food would fall out), so you can't check to make sure your order is correct before leaving the restaurant.

Overall it's a good app but needs some polish. It is not intuitive on how to redeem your rewards when ordering in app. Why can't you add them directly from the rewards inventory? Next it does not let you leave a note on an ordered item to customize it like leaving a specific continent "on the side". If these get addresses and fixed I would change this review to 5 stars.

Terrible 👎. The old app was great. This one works sometimes maybe. you can no longer scan the receipt after you pay. if the cashier doesn't scan the app SUCCESSFULLY you miss out. if you want to use rewards don't let your phone lock because you can't get back to the QR code and you can't choose a reward again. other issues also. huge down grade

The order menu is easy enough and the discounts for using the app are good except for the fact that you're saved credit cards never work and you have to re-enter all the information every time (so no timed saved using AP). The app also no longer lets me log in showing an error code. Forget it.

This app has stressed me out so many times. The online order system is always either not functioning properly or unavailable. What's the point of earning points if I can't even redeem them? Ridiculous! Also, sometimes I can't claim my offers on the app in store because it's online order only .... which again rarely works which at this point I'm starting to think it's just a scam.

Not able to order. We have tried on multiple androids and each has the same problem. When checking out we get an error about the basket and can not actually finish the order. Very frustrating! I have ordered from the appin the past and it was okay, but it no longer works.

The app used to be fine until they updated it and now I constantly have to resign into the app and if I hit the back button it kicks me completely out and makes me sign in again! And the point system isn't great either. The fact that we can't punch in or scan or receipts is ridiculous. I've been to my local restaurant twice and they can't scan my QR code so I automatically lose my points. Need to allow people to enter the receipt number so people can get their points.

This new update for the app suck goes for the same for the point system. You can't even scan your recipe no more, and it make it more difficult for when your in the drive thur. I like the old point system, where you earn el pollo loco buck. This new point system is bad, you can't even use your point on all the menu item.

POS app and "free delivery" promotion. Selected store closest to me in Los Angeles (less than 3 miles), it said they deliver. Went all the way through a big order to get a message saying they "don't deliver to address". I then tried to contact them, input all info and it kept giving me error messages. I promptly deleted the app and am now giving feedback here. Clearly there are major bugs with their app and system. Very disappointing!

Won't allow me to ever place orders! App used to work seamlessly. Now it keeps getting an error saying "We are currently unable to take your order. If you would like to place this order, please call the store directly." Tried multiple locations & get the same error message. Also tried checking out as guest on mobile web through different browsers. Nothing works! Even tried adding a new credit card. Very frustrating!

The app will not allow you to change your email. It has a lock symbol on it. Can't figure out why that is etched in stone. Downloaded app to new phone. Need to reset password. Can't because all prompts are sent to old address. I lost several points. Wrote customer service several times they responded once with the WRONG answer. Never replied again. Got tired and just didn't load app on new phone.
