I have used Napster for years when it was RealNetworks. It works well except at times it cuts the music off on some songs--"You Will Be Found" and some John Denver songs. It's a bit annoying and restarting doen't fix it. Some artists aren't available, like Garth Brooks. You used to be able to purchase tracks and albums, but that disappeared. Not sure why. Overall, I like the service and would recommend it as agood choice.

The service is great for PC and all, but when it comes to the app, they need to put a little more work here. This has happened frequently, but God forbid you get a random playback error, it'll refuse to play the song(even if it's downloaded for offline play) until you reinstall the app, but even then, you'll get 1 or 2 plays on that lost song before it happens again. I've cleared cache, updated, and done everything to remedy this, but this problem continues to occur.

The primary features of creating playlists and playing music is fine. However, you can't sort playlists once they have been created based on criteria (song title, artist name, album, etc.). You can individually drag and drop tracks (not a scalable solution). I have been a customer since the service was called "Rhapsody" and it had this feature. Not sure why Napster doesn't support. The "Remove Duplicates" feature also seems to have disappeared.

Recently, the app itself won't even let me log in. It keeps telling me that I need to renew my plan even though I've already paid the subscription. I've also had some smaller issues in the past where songs were being deleted off of playlists and other issues like that as well. Their team never got back to me or fixed any of the issues and I haven't been able to log into my account for at least a month now. Do not recommend this app!

I don't understand what happened but like 6 weeks ago my download button just stopped working properly. If I try to download older music it doesn't work, it shows the blue arrow but doesn't show up in my downloads. Sometimes it will let me download new music but thats not working now. I have already contacted customer support multiple times just to get generic responses that does nothing.

Too many times lately the app has crashed or bogged down the entire phone. Today I am unable to access more than 8-9 songs on playlists of hundreds. This is irritating at best. Napster, do better. You're an optional service. I don't have to pay you, I can choose to go elsewhere.

This app has been so slow and buggy since the update in May, it's almost unusable. Stops midway through songs, or sometimes just won't load anything at all, even music saved in the library. After years of having Napster, I'm now looking at other options for streaming music.

I pay for the subscription and been using for several months no problems. All of a sudden it won't load my songs. I cleared the data, unistalled and reinstalled several times and now most of my songs are gone. I spent alot of time building this playlist and so mad. I'm canceling my subscription and will just use you tube like I been doing.

I'm not sure what's going on. But this just doesn't work like it use to. Updates keep messing up. Half the time, it won't load. I have uninstalled and reinstalled it. My dad and i share his account, and before this was hands down the best way to listen to music. Half of all my playlists are missing now. 2 weeks ago now, maybe the new music playlist wouldn't update. As of this morning, the home page wont load. I miss the old rhapsody.

Ive been with napster for years. However your app is always starting to fail. Albums, Songs dont load. Songs disapearing from playlist artist pages show no songs ablbums available. I always get these error exclamation marks. Songs disapering on my playlist all the time. And yet you're more expensive than the others. Im just about ready to move over to spotify. Update: I just canceled my subscription after over 10 years. Not getting $12 a month when you cant even provide what im paying for.

I like the app, but for whatever reason, I'm not able to listen to new music or download music anymore... I just keep getting an error message saying playback failed, skipping to next track. I even un-installed and re-installed the app to see if that would fix it, but to no avail. Was there a system crash or something?

Dude what's going on? The last few days, my music has a ton of skips and saying playback error or just as of this message, an entire Playlist of mine has been deleted. I've logged out/back in, cleared the music player, cache, etc. I've never had an issue with my Napster account; even decided to stick around after my phone carrier didn't offer it in my plan anymore and the prices went up. Since I'm paying significantly much more for a Napster membership, I'd appreciate not having issues

Update: Well the app is continually having issues and now won't play anything at all. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app and it's still not working. May change to something else App used to work great. Lately having lots issues. Pages not loading even when at home on wifi. Some groups top tracks not showing when I was just playing then from the top tracks page. Repeat load issues on pages. Retry and still doesn't work. Frustrating and just started since last update I think. Pls fix!

7/11/2023 - Same issue AGAIN!!! Music only loads 600 of my 1250+ songs! Web player is also a mess, can no longer download an drge web player does not sync all music!! Smh.... 0 stars if I could! I just had technical issues 2 weeks ago....now, here we go again! Now, over 1,500 songs have been deleted from my playlist all of a sudden! What in the world is going on!! This is very frustrating for one that has been using this app for over 12 years! Please help! This was years of music!!!!

What is going on? Half the songs in my playlists are no longer playable. I keep getting "playback error" over and over again. Half the Artists discography is missing, or the artist in general is no longer on Napster all of a sudden. This has to get fixed because it's ridiculous when there's multiple people with the same issue.

I've been a customer for literally 20 years, under three different company names. These days the app barely works, the servers are down more than not, and a lot of the music catalog has disappeared. This company is clearly on its way out and has stopped trying to maintain their app at even a basic level. Time to start figuring out how to transfer 20 years of playlists

terrible app!!! terrible customer service!!! constant Play Issues. if you receive a phone call doing the song it renders it unplayable. you can't simply start the song it triggers an endless loop of playback fails. customer service is non-existent. do not waste your money or time. the company and app is terrible. Update. Now songs randomly go silent. Noting will load. This app is the horrible and always has issues. Full service from your phone but nothing will work. This happens all the time.

Am about to unscribe because it always saying playback failed on certain songs that I have downloaded. I really like the app but I will not play almost 11 dollars a month just to not be able to listen to my favorite songs when I hit their song. I am still having the same issues even though I have subscribed again to the app after unscribing. I am done with napster for good. Apparently nothing is getting resolved if the same issues are happening to everyone else. I won't pay for this app!!!
