Very few tracks are hi res. It seems like a passing fad like 3D movies or high fi. I don't really hear a difference in quality despite putting sound on the highest setting. Not worth $13/mo. Does not stop playing like Spotify does. Should not market itself as hi res when less than 5% of really obscure tracks you've never heard of for a reason are hi res.

I have been paying this for over 2 years. good quality music. however the app sucks. weird buffering problems. download issues like getting stuck on a download and never recovering.... no way to cancel... these problems were here 2+ years ago. still difficult to go to an album from a song (not very intuitive ) at this point I just hope 2 stars can get your attention.

I've been a quobuz customer for a few months now. Second to none audio quality. Below average playlists and new music discovery for any cutting edge music. I'm satisfied overall though. This app however. It just sometimes won't load favorite tracks and albums. It just sits there empty. Ive restarted the app and the phone and and sometimes it just won't load them at all no matter what I do. I've encountered some other glitches, but this is the most persistent and annoying. Music playback works only some of the time, unable to cast music for more then 2 seconds at a time, UI is super clunky, unpolished, and unintuitive. Support is nonexistent and unwilling to help after they gave my subscription to another account. Tons of popular music is missing and individual tracks in some albums are not available. Edit: I had a terrible experience with customer service and I'm not going to ever reach out again. I've already cancelled my subscription. I regret my subscription.

Great music app. Everything is flawless or better than flawless (studio quality up to 94bit i think, maybe 128 bit or so), so every track sounds amazing! UI is like a lot of the other apps, so not change there. If I had to have a criticism it would be that some artists don't have all their albums/songs on the app, but I'm not sure if that's Qobuz's fault or the studio the artist works with's fault. Anyway, easily the best flawless app I've used, highly recommend.

So bloody buggy on multiple devices. If not for my refusal to support Spotify and lack of alternatives I'd be so gone. On my phone the music does not start right away. It will take anywhere from a few seconds to minutes before the track restarts and then starts playing. From then on I have to keep music playing. God forbid an album ends and I don't get something else on ASAP, i have to start over. On my tablet it randomly causes the device to become unresponsive when the screen is off.

The music quality is superb and quick loading. You can find a good library althroughout. However, I knocked a couple stars because the UI is still lacking some personalization, like saving a song, creating playlists. This may be available but it's kind of awkwardly placed. Also the album searches aren't very sorted, songs are just scattered and not aligned by album name, release date, etc. Please fix it up, at $15 there should be a better UI.

I've come to the realization that if you want the basics and decent interface, with best sound quality it's here. I would love to see new music from liked artist's when they post. The queue section, tabs, other menu layouts and arrangements are pretty good. Simple and effective. I wish on the music discovery page artist and music that I've been listening to would display more often. I would also like to see a little faster reaction to adding items to queue or liking a song. A little delay.

This app will only load music if it feels like it, and that is rare. Every time I go to load new music, it refuses. By that I mean that if I search for a band, open one of their albums, and try to play any song, it will open the player, and show me the album artwork. If I am lucky, I will get 5-10 seconds of the song to load. If you only like sometimes hearing the first 10 seconds of a song, this is the app for you. Their desktop app works fine tho, but the app has been broken for months.

Sometimes, certain songs just won't play. It's usually the same songs that I have in my playlist. It usually says something to the effect of "try changing streaming quality". This is a pretty big barrier to me using this app, which is disappointing since I'm a paid subscriber. Sometimes I just okay mp3s from my personal storage because I want to hear sounds that I usually can't get to okay on the app. If Qobuz didn't support the artists more than any other service, I would use another service.

If you have an account that's not premium, this prevents you from logging in (also the website covers the login button with a banner ad, so you have to log in by passing through the terms & conditions page). The app also doesn't recognize when you DO sign up for a paid account. The shuffle feature and the queue both turn the other off. It forgets genre preferences regularly. This is scratching the surface of how bad the app is. But there's a good selection of music, that plays at good quality.

The music quality is unsurpassed, and there is no use of proprietary codecs like MQA. With that said, I have tried several times to love qobuz, but I cannot until the search function is fixed and there is some form of music discovery beyond playlists. There is always the option of using a third party like Roon for discovery, but this is a functionality that could be included within qobuz itself. As of right now, it seems built for listening to entire albums, but this is not a common use case.

It's a fine service, but I can't handle the app. It's so bland and clunky to navigate. Hard to see all the albums of a artist without specifically searching for it. I'm gonna go back to tidal, you just need to fix your app. Add more features, such as bands you may also like, a smarter search engine, better more intuitive layout. Just feel like the app was designed in 2003 without much thought. Make these simple changes and I'll come back. I'm strictly a mobile user so desktop apps don't matter

This app has good quality music but falls short with the interface and more importantly the experience. Music has a tendency to skip(like a scratched CD). This is just a bug apparently and they don't know when it'll be fixed. If you plan on using this try a free subscription first to see if you have this problem. I have a galaxy s21 ultra and all software is up to date.

Audio quality is excellent. Catalog is pretty good. App is a mess. In your library ("favorites" 😒), there's no way to go into an artist and see only the albums or songs you've favorited by that artist. Recently, it seems to think I'm always on mobile networks and refuses to stream or import songs, even when I'm on WiFi. It doesn't have exclusive USB mode DAC access, either, so I still don't get full decoding on my DAC. I want DAC's digital filter, and ONLY that filter.

I have been using Qobuz for about a year now. The sound quality is excellent. My experience with streaming and downloading have been top notch. I have a dedicated 2 channel stereo setup. The higher resolution files are definitely noticeable in playback. Another nice feature is discovering music I'm not familiar with from recommendations based on current listening material.

Love this site!! Only reason I gave it 4 was due to Chromecast being a bit slow and a bit dodgy at times. Great selection of music to choose from plus an abundance of new releases. Tres bien!! I have been back and forth with Tidal, Amazon etc and when all is said and done I find Qobuz to have the best quality of music and an app that is the easiest to maneuver.

I really appreciate the quality of music here. It's is truly exceptional. It's night and day compare to Spotify or apple music. The selection is not nearly as strong, especially for more cutting edge stuff. If you're into the latest underground dance music, this is unlikely a place for you. But the sound quality is INSANE! The app itself is OK. It could use better organisation and some significant bugfixes. That really makes the app feel a little half baked. But the sound quality is AMAZING!
