Available programming depends on your Spectrum TV package. Some titles require you to connect to your Spectrum In-Home WiFi. A Spectrum TV subscription, username and password are required to sign in.

Last viewed & guide are no longer easy to use. Instead of just smoothly sliding the screen & selecting the channel, now I have to wait for another screen to open, slide the choppy windows over to select the channel. Takes the pleasure out of flipping channels. As for the guide, you can only see 4 channels to choose from. Soo much wasted space with nothing else being bigger. Also now they've created a filter button but have moved it far from the items being filtered. I keep having to hunt for it

Works fine watching on my phone, but casting is a different story. It constantly hangs up on the last frame of the commercials while you can hear the show audio. When it finally resumes the show, the audio and video are out of sync. This makes it completely unwatchable. Plus, if you try to fix it by restarting or rewinding, you just end up watching longer and longer commercials.

Terrible interface. Doesn't allow you to customize enough features. For example, I want it to default to staying on my favorites list, not all channels. Also I don't want the new start screen that shows me all the recent channels I've been to. Just open to my last channel with my favorites as the default channel list so it's easier for me to get to where I want.

The most recent changes made on (August /September 2023), of this App, are absolutely terrible! The entire set up is different, specific functions were removed, and it is now much more difficult to navigate. Before you decide to start making changes, you may want to take into consideration, that not everyone is tech savvy! Please put this App back to the way it was!!

Only reason I used this app was for the separate guide. It was easier to use than on TV. Bring back the stand alone guide. New way is harder to use and not worth using this app anymore. I read your trying to make a seamless experience and better experience for us but you failed. It is harder to use now. First ABC and Disney stuff goes away and now the stand alone guide. Way to go spectrum. You all have really made a mess of this. Not user friendly at all.

Latest version sucks,, can't view previous channels without stopping TV to switch to home tab... Still sucks,,I have to force stop the app if I want to view previous channels. The channel numbers are so damn small I can barely see them. Thanks for the reply, but you missed...If i reopen the app after closing it or locking my screen, swiping to view previous channels will not work no matter which direction. A forced stop is the only way to get it to work, until I close the app or lock my screen.

EXTREMELY ANNOYING, I update my recordings while I am away from home, the one under live TV is not user friendly, I can't stop live TV while I try to update, and it is wasting my cell data!!! Also some paid channels are not listed on the live TV listing, making it impossible for me to update/ make changes unless I am home using the DVR!! I might be better off just drop cable and use streaming instead, as I ended up having to watch it on streaming because I wasn't able to setup to record it!!!

Why did you remove the TV guide icon from the bottom of the screen? It is now very difficult to find out what is playing at certain times and set a recording. Please restore the TV guide option. Reply 10/02/23: I understand that the guide has been combined with Live TV, but sometimes people just want to view the guide without being disturbed by Live TV playing. For example, if I am in a class or some other quiet environment and I need to set a recording I don't want Live TV coming on then.

Android version has become nearly unplayable when streaming to smart tv device. I don't use roku, and have an up-to-date Sony Bravia smart tv. Streaming has always had a slight issue with lagginess, despite the tv being connected via ethernet cable and my Samsung s22 ultra has perfect connection. It wasn't as bad in the beginning, but has since been much worse. I am in a studio with minimal-to-no nterference. I consider myself tech savy but this mobile app leaves me stumped.

Spectrum app freezes on TV if you don't select within a minute or so and you will have to turn the television off and back on and reload the app and start over again because the app freezes. The DVR box doesn't have that problem, so I recommend using the box rather than the Spectrum app and internet service until Spectrum gets this problem solved !!!

This new update is terrible! Why would you get rid of the larger stand alone channel guide?! Only being able to see 3 channels at a time makes no sense. Plus, my favorites list doesn't show all the channels I set as favorites. Please clean up the huge mess you've created because instead of making improvements to an already near perfect app you have made it unnecessarily difficult to deal with. Based on the other reviews of this latest update I'm not alone in my comments and concerns. Zero stars!

Ever since the updated version, I have been very unhappy with the service. At times, it lets me log in to my account. Now it's giving me errors every time I try to log in. I know my information is correct, but it keeps popping up. The information I'm putting in is wrong. I could watch tv on my phone anywhere I go. Now, I have to log on to someone's wifi. This is starting to get stressful having to keep resetting my password for it to say error. This needs to be fixed asap.

The main reason I used this app was for the standalone guide, now if I want to check the channel listings I have to remember to turn the volume on my phone down so I don't get blasted with the live TV I don't want to see. Scrolling through the guide to see what's coming on later is a PITA because I can only see an hour at a time. Terrible terrible update

I always had a problem with this app. Even way back when I was living in another state.Main issues with this app always been constant buffering, as well as the mouths not always moving in sync with the voices lol. Actually Spectrum service as a whole has been quite wonderful for me though. And the fix is easy. I just downoaded individual channel apps like ID Go and A&E network that let you sign in with your provider. Wala! Problem solved, & ID Go app has come a long way over the years

Fire the entire UI team who designed this awful interface. Issues are what everyone has already mentioned. Issues are: Channels numbers are too small to read. Swipe left and right for recent channels is horrible as the current channel is on the list. You can't swipe it back to view TV, you have to click on x to close it. Thus inefficient and extra click is added. More issues but limited space 2 type Nothing will happen as Spectrum doesn't care about its customers or their user experience.

Newest update made this app the absolute worst user friendly app out there. Spectrum seems to try to keep up with the Joneses which is all TV and video apps. They did away with the guide completely so if you don't know the network you watch, you are screwed. The beauty of the guide is you can see what's playing via multiple channels all at once and what time it's playing. It was synced with the guide from the home cable box but some brilliant mind at HQ decided copy other apps. Terrible

Besides app constantly crashing I am unable to use the dvr function anymore with the new Spectrum receiver. I have dvr service through Spectrum and I can watch it if I go directly to the box and watch on my TV only. Well they just changed the app and it is horrible. The stabd-alone guide is no longer available. It only shows on the streaming page. I is extremely annoying you cannot stop is of get it offscreen. Loved the other guide not this one. Please fix your horrible fix and put it back.

Was a 5 star app prior to this latest update! Used to simply swipe on the program being watched and it showed the last few stations I was recently watching along with what each was currently airing. Was easy and seamless on my phone! Now, this is done in steps via a filter option. Also, now the viewing screen has to be touched each time I tune in a station so a new menu on the screen stops covering the bottom portion of the show! Why did Spectrum overthink things? You ruined your app!
