Been a member of this organization for over 20 Years. They have improved tremendously and recently I have become a paid subscriber for ad-free music. The channel is fantastic for variety, depth & breadth. The App is very stable and easy to use. I do however wish there was a feature to allow me to play a previously played song. You can only forward ahead for a few songs and never go back. Please improve this, however I am very happy with this service. Highly recommended@

I think there is one thing missing and that is in its interface with Android auto. You guys are missing insane amounts of input from your listeners. Giving us the option to upvote the songs being played will help you and your playlists. But unlike in other apps including iHeartRadio that give us the thumbs up thumbs down option for quick voting while driving you have not enabled that feature, please do and that would make this app even better. Otherwise keep up the consistently good work.

If you like electronic music, this app has it all. I do wish it would let you look up individual songs and artists. I also wish it would rotate between genres. It's old fashioned streaming internet radio. If you leave it alone, you might be ready for a change after a few minutes. But the sheer quantity and variety on display makes those minor quibbles irrelevant to my rating.

7/12/23-I edit today to say app has quit working entirely on my Google Pixel 4A. I uninstalled/cleared cache to no avail. Is there something going on? I am paid subscriber. --- I love this app for many reasons, but since paying for a 2 year subscription, I have noticed that it force closes in the middle of a song. No warning, no change to wifi connection... I'm listening at work via Bluetooth earbuds. This happens about once a week. I've updated the app as necessary. Samsung S7. What's going on?

music is top quality,great selection of genres to choose from too. app works smoothly and the live shows and mixes are good. even the ads aren't too overbearing and dont interrupt too often to take you out of the groove. digitally imported has come a very long way since it was just a humble collection of shoutcast stations. its worth your time.

So I found digitally imported back in the winamp days, like 1999, and they had like 5 channels, and I loved them then. Now they are the authority on all types of techno and I constant refer people to this app if they're interested in exploring electronic music. The only complaint I have is that you can't seek through any of their archived shows, like if you want to listen to that song at 27:00 of a DJ set you have to just hit play and wait, and that it's hard to find track lists.

Latest and previous iterations (for the past few months) of this application crash randomly on my Note 9. I've read through user AND developer comments and tried each of the options listed, which usually pertain to clearing the cache, uninstalling, rebooting the phone, and reinstalling. This has NOT worked. What am I missing? I'm not the only one out there with this issue (as someone stated in another recent post) and the latest update (~10 hours ago) does not fix the problem. Thanks.

I initially started using the DI.FM app as a free user and have been a fan of all forms of electronic music for decades. Back in 2014, when I found and discovered the app, it was actually the first streaming app that I had ever found. The features, user friendly interface, and musical genres and style selections are truly second to none. I made the switch and paid for the commercial free listening, and I never looked back. Now I have converted both my wife and all of my kids to DI.FM's app.

App just randomly stopped working after a long time using it. I have a paid subscription to it also. All ot will do is buffer. I'm using sprint with a galaxy note 10 plus. Update. That worked for about 10 minutes then it just stopped working again. It comes on and looks like it should be playing but only buffers and never works. All other apps on my phone are working so it is not a signal issue.

There is a problem with the premium version using way too much bandwidth on Android 8.0.0. It used 300MB of mobile data in 30 min, even when set to 64kbps. (This included 7 or 8 channels switches in that time.) UPDATE: The high data usage seems to stem from switching channels and a very large data buffer. Each channel switch used 10-30MB of data and the app will continue to play a song for over 8 minutes after I turn off all data, meaning it is a HUGE data buffer. Using the web player in Chrome, I see only 1-2MB of data usage with each channel switch and the total over 30 minutes of play at 64kbps was only 20MB with 7 or 8 channel switches, a reasonable amount. This needs to be fixed. I can't recommend it until it is.

when it does work its great. what blows it when it freezes up or changing channels it starts to the beginning of the track on the next station. Station listing doesn't refresh properly and lots of times you can channel surf and somehow it starts every station at the beginning of the track, restart the app and suddenly its actually halfway through a mix. for paying for this, i shouldnt have so many problems with the app.

Have been a long time DI.FM subscriber. Love the app; however, it has started to crash constantly. If I use it for 90 minutes in the gym it can crash 5 or more times, very frustrating. When I switch to other music apps they work fine so it has nothing to do with my phone or the wifi. Likely will not re-subscribe next year.

Edit: If anyone runs into an issue with "Live Captions" causing audio to not play in the app, I went to "settings" then "Apps & notifications" then "see all ??? apps" and pressed on "Google Play Music" and chose "Force Stop". It said something about app misbehaving, but it was already misbehaving, so I force stopped it. Problem solved. Hope this works for you. No other solution worked for me. Other than the occasional issue, the app is so great and I love using it when not at the computer!

I've been listening to di on and off for over 15 years. When I saw that they had an app, I had to check it out. Overall, the app is beautifully designed, well themed, and very colorful. The sound quality is excellent. The ads are well timed and not too frequent. I do recommend getting premium mode. You get access to the highest stream quality, no ads ever again, and the giant repository of previous live shows that you can hear on-demand at any time. Wish i could write more. Highly recommended!

I love the Lo-Fi station and listen for hours everyday, lots and lots of good music. But I do have two issues: 1) The lockscreen widget doesn't work with the Samsung S10, it doesn't pause the music; 2) The app goes into Ads and gets locked up, you have to unlock your phone, open the app, start the Ad, then you can lock your phone again, but the longer you listen the more this happens, until you get to a point where you have to unlock your phone after every song, I use Pandora at that point.

I love the music. It's not mainstream repeats typically. I love the DJ MIXES the most. Definitely worth the install, and having a premium subscription is kinda needed because the ads are super annoying (I'm sure that's the goal), especially when you are really feeling the music. And it's not just one or two ads. It's a lot of them. So get the subscription. It's worth it. You also will be able to skip more then just 1 song per 24hrs.

The music is great and has something for everyone, but the android app needs work. Sometimes it decides to close on it's own while listening, other times I cant get it to close at all and have to restart my phone. 9 times out of 10 I cant tune in to a live show once its started, or it wont tune in right away but randomly does after a while. I've had help tickets submitted but tech support is lacking.

Good selection of music but annoying reminders and ads. The music selection is great, even the free streams are a good quality. Two complaints: ads in thr middle of songs and reminder popups. 1. Please place ads between songs not in the middle of them. 2. The biggest nuisance is the "you haven't used the app in a while please come back" notifications. If I have used the app, there is a reason, please do not pester and annoy me like a 5 year old to come back and play with you.
