Everything about this app is almost perfect. I am no professional musician but I'm a big fan of the classics. I love it even though it falls short in its catalogues. I wish there's a share button and a night mode UI. Also, downloading using data is really a mess even though my connection is very fast and the app would crash afterwards Hope you can fix that. Thanks.

This gives me most of the music that I want. The search engine works well for me so far (a few weeks of use). I find that the connection drops out frequently unless I download the disc - could be better. When I stop listening, e.g., the bus gets to the office, and I pause the music for a few hours, Idagio loses its place in the music entirely, whereas Spotify allowed me to resume where I left off - this may be my phone rather than the app, but how would I know. I will keep listening!

Good but ridiculous limits for free users. Only 6 items to library and quality capped at 192 kbps instead of 320 kbps. I mean what's stopping me, and other users who are likely doing the same, from discovering and searching through idagio and then going to Spotify and adding the work to my library, which isn't limited in size or quality aside from lossless. I understand limiting lossless, offline, concerts, ads, etc. But library size to 6 items and quality to only 192kbps ? Come on.

After using the app for a while. The service is good but the app is on the right way but it not there yet... High issues/missing: version:play album is resuming 2. No android auto support 3. No time on the tracks only on the played one 4. No search inside the works list

Really awesome as Spotify isn't great for classical I find. Why such a massive cost for subscription, I mean seriously? £2 more than I pay for Spotify and the same cost of Disney? It's a heck of allot of money for such a niche product. Editing this so say, well done on paying artists fairly and I do very much respect you for that. Still though, premium is at too high of a price point for me. There needs to be a lower ad free tier that gives audio at the same quality or something.

Since the latest update the app constantly loads albums and won't play anything past the few most recent listens. It's become essentially unusable.

Unfortunately, every time you close the app, it forgets the recording you were listening to. The ability to pick up where you left off is absolutely basic in a music streaming app, particularly for classical music.

Great music. For immersive listening pleasure, this is one of the best apps out there. Had some technical glitches before. But its much better on the functional part with the latest updates as well. If you wanna dig in to western classical music this is totally worth it.

Outstanding application in the world of classical music! Great in many aspects: from musical content, album news, streaming quality, application itself to support reaction, etc. Worthy of every cent I spent for subscription. My the only dream: PLEASE include jazz - I'll eventually move from Spotify to Idagio... 🙂

I abandoned Idagio a few years ago out of frustration and have recently given it another go. None of my frustrations have been fixed, and a few have been added. For example: - no Android Auto integration - clunky integration with Sonos and no hi res stream - use of stock photos instead of album art on playlists - no separate category for downloads in your library Idagio is being left behind by the likes of Qobuz and Apple Music. It's hard to see what Idagio offers that the others don't.

Buggy, struggled to play via Sonos including only playing via one speaker of a stereo and sub setup, would only play from about 70% of the way through the album until it skipped back a track and tried again. It has a leaflet viewer but zooming in to read the tiny text was very fast and juddery, making it hard to get the right level. Once I got it playing directly via Sonos it was worth sticking with because it sounded much better than when using airplay on the iPad.

It started out great then went downhill. I had lossless streaming, but then they decided to take it away and make you pay even more money if you wanted it back. When I searched "Beethoven concerto" the "top result" was "Johannes Brahms" (no joke). I also had constant playback issues. Massive library, but good luck searching it. Great idea, pathetic execution that got worse over time.

I've read some of the critical reviews of this app. I don't understand them. It has brought a huge amount of pleasure to my life. The curation is amazing. The weekly sampling has opened up new vistas of music for me. I am not an audio connoisseur. I listen to the music on a Bluetooth speaker or headphones. For me, the reproduction value is just fine. I strongly recommend it if you are not a classical music or audio snob.

Idagio is a godsend. It has really helped me to endure my long commutes to work. I would give it ten stars if I could. If I could provide one point of criticism: your ads. I absolutely LOVE them! I don't want a paid subscription because the woman in the ads has such an exquisite voice, and I would miss hearing her. If you want to increase your subscribership, make the ads more irritating.

Great app with features that experienced listeners and new listeners alike will find helpful. One suggestion though is an option to make playback between tracks have no pauses. Lots of works with movements without pause and it's especially distracting when listening to opera and it keeps stopping every time there's a new track

I like it, I can live with such enough collections since I prefer to discover things. But there's a few problem with the UI/UX. There's no gesture control, like switching pages, hiding the music player, etc. No "show all" option in discover page. And lastly, no "sort" and "filter".

I have the free version (for now, considering upgrading). I really love the playlists organized by mood, I'd say it's worth downloading for that alone. I've already found a few new pieces that I really like from those playlists. One suggestion would be to create similar instrument-themed playlists, especially because there are already pieces being highlighted out for several instruments.

Near perfect. all my apps (phone, pad, desktop) stimulusly sync well. Lossless sound gorgeous. Updating more than often. Get idagio, if thinking to choose from primephonic, nexos, or Spotify. U never regret. For future, having a listener's comment/review on each work, so never get bored to explore... After 4 months use, I finally gave up the constant freeze (hanging) in catalogue search and not simple/easy navigation. I did cancel subscription and moved to Primrphonic now. Sad...
