Music catalog was lacking a bit too much for me in the Latin music section, but otherwise really good sound quality and very easy to use. I'll give them a try again in a few months, to see if they expanded the selection a bit. They app also doesn't work in as many countries as other services, if you like traveling a lot that can be an issue eventually.

When I first signed up years ago the platform worked amazing. But in the past year of 2023 I can't say the same. My app always spins trying to play the music then crashes on me. I've made sure I've updated the app everytime to make sure I have the latest version. You would think that helped but nope it still does the same. I'm at a point where I'm ready to be done with the app because it's stressing me out especially when I'm paying for it.

Sound quality is great! I wish daily discovery Playlist was a little longer (20-30 songs would be great!) and had a wider variety of recommended new music. Not all song have playlists for some reason and since the update the app on my phone will stop playing songs when on a track Playlist and the app keeps crashing. Will keep using tidal hifi plus but please fix it 🙏 😢 .... And I wish you could search your tracks from the search bar on the windows app. Songs removed weekly, Need notification!

UI is slow and changing songs takes three seconds minimum, and can last up to half a minute of loading. Very annoying. Daily discovery mixed are great but very small. I like being able to organize playlists in folders. If you add the ability to search for playlists when adding a song to a playlist, I will give you five stars and continue using this service into adulthood.

The app is buggy, and downloading is poorly implemented. I live in an area that has spotty coverage, so I download playlists for the car. However, the first thing the app does is to immediately update, deleting most of the downloaded songs and attempting to download the latest playlist version. Which fails spectacularly if you have no internet. So basically it's 2002 again, and before you go anywhere you have to sit in your house and wait for 5 minutes while you download music for the road...

App is great music quality on HiFi plus is excellent. However a few quirks with the app that are making me consider switching back. When adding one playlist to another (merging then) it will add everything causing duplicates. There's no way from what I can tell to add and ignore duplicate songs. Searching for a song is also a pain, I have to be super specific with the title and artist in o rder for what I'm looking for to come up. Will keep using for a little while I hope for improvements

Disappointing I subscribed to tidal because it pays artists more, offers higher fidelity, and more diverse suggestions allowing me to discover more interesting artists. It's all overshadowed by the fact I can no longer effectively use it. I got a memory card to store the hifi downloads, and now I could go an entire car trip without any music loading. When I go back to streaming usability is inconsistent. It seems if I download any of the custom mixes it suggests, the mix becomes unusable.

Noticeably better sound quality over other popular streaming platforms. So far I like it but there are a couple of things that need to be improved. When searching for a song we shouldn't have to be very specific with the title and artist. It should be like searching for a video on youtube. Also, there should be an option of choosing multiple items in your tracks section to be able to delete songs or move them to a Playlist easier.

Love this application, I use it every day, multiples times throughout the day, if not, literally all day and night. There's only been 2 or 3 songs I've been unwilling to find. The only issue I've found, is that if you have a word wrong in the song, or the wrong artist, even down to an error as small as a missing apostrophe or letter, it WILL not always find what you're seeking. The algorithm is pretty fantastic, and I would surely recommend this to anyone and everyone.

I am so far enjoying the app. But one feature I'd like to see you incorporate is the ability to use my phone like a remote control to control the app even if I'm using my desktop I'd like to use my laptop because it has better audio output but like to use my phone to switch music skip etc. Like I do on Spotify figure out how to run 2 devices at same time and I'll ditch Spotify

The best music app by far. It's a bit pricey and I find it disappointing that not all songs are available in Master audio for HiFi plus subscribers but I get that it's out of their control. It's also a pretty good music app becuase of the lack of popularity so site shutdowns due to the server being overloaded are rare to non-existent.

I came from youtube music and instantly fell in love with Tidal a few years ago. Now unfortunately I may have to go back as Tidal now is very disappointing. My downloads don't play offline, my music doesn't play right away. The amount of lagging I been experiencing is really turned me off to this app. As much as I like tidal, if this doesn't get better soon I will have to un subscribe. I emailed Tidal about the download issue and they really didn't have an answer. I'm annoyed at this point.

Love it, but with the new Samsung 5.1 update, while the screen is turned off, the app will lose connection while streaming, but not if it's a downloaded Playlist. Hopefully, this will be resolved quickly. Update- the connection loss seems to be an issue with my phone and not the app. So, for me, it's a 5 star app. The developer responded very quickly regarding my feedback and I really appreciate that.

Updating my review to one star. Quality is nice when you get the high quality. It ignores every request I have to block and artist if it even gives me the option. Playlists are stagnant. I can search a song verbatim, correctly, and it won't find it. Horrible to navigate. Legitimately the worst one I've used.

This app is typically pretty good. Lately, it has been buffering a whole lot. I can't get through one song without it buffering every 10 to 15 seconds. Looks like Tidal's backend servers can't handle the load. My other streaming apps work fine so I know it's not my phone. EDIT: Reinstalled app and cleared the cache and the buffering issue is still there. Will try reaching out to Tidal support directly. Still a decent app and the buffering gets bad after a while of playing apps.

So far I'm really enjoying Tidal. As a part-time DJ, I really enjoy the speed when searching for a song I don't have on my HD. 9 times out of 10 Tidal has it. I use the web version more than the phone app. For the videos I would like to be able to go full screen with the picture-in-picture to put it on a different monitor/ screen. I would also like to be able to search for videos only.

App is pretty buggy overall. My biggest issue though is that the search is terrible. If you don't have the song name exactly right it won't show up when you search. I've had to go to an artist's page, find the album that had the song I wanted and then play it from there. It's extremely frustrating

For playing music, it's the best app. I wish it had lyrics like Amazon. I have a family plan, but there's no way to set up my family in the app. There's also no way to contact support in the app. When I did get in contact, they told me the family plan is a lie. Great false advertising. I'd also like an option for favorite artists on top of followed artists. From your response, I can see that you don't understand what I mean. I'd also like to add a song to multiple playlists at the same time.
