This is a pretty great app. It works very well, and it's super great to be able to select which stall you're at and then have your name show up on the screen. Very nifty and unique experience there. I do have one complaint! The app doesn't show prices for items until you go all the way to checkout. Browsing the menu shows no prices for stuff, and I do not know how much add-ons cost. I have to first configure and add an item to the cart and then go to checkout to see how much it is.

Half the time I use this app, it gets all the way to the part where I'm supposed to pay for the order. When I hit the check out button, it freaks out, tells me my order has been updated (which is a miracle, since absolutely NOTHING has changed since I hit the check out button) and send me right back to the order detail page. It does not matter how many times I check out once that happens, the app is stuck in that loop. Restarting the app has no effect, and rarely does restarting my phone help.

I've been unable to log in for almost 2 months now. I've done everything support has asked still will not let me log in. It states an account already exists every time I log in with the correct information. If I enter in a wrong password on purpose it tells me it's wrong. Sonic won't be getting my business until it's fixed because this is ridiculous.

Worst app ever, don't bother, and don't buy gift cards. Can't see prices until checkout, Can't combine payments or use multiple gift cards, Can't cancel or modify an order once placed, Can't get a refund on orders you never picked up, app often disregards saved or favorited locations and if you refresh or app crashes you may end up ordering from wrong location. If order doesn't go through amount will still be charged and added as a gift card credit, which you then can't combine with other credit

This app is appalling. It's unbelievably slow to place orders, gives no way to see prices prior to placing the order and doesn't list most of the available combos (eg. chicken sandwiches and toasters), forcing you to overpay for the individual components rather than getting the discounted combo price. Oh and it's an appalling battery hog too; minute for minute it uses 1.4x as much power as YouTube streaming and 2.9x as much as my web browser. Truly terrible!

Latest update won't allow the app to run. It's a decent app w room for improvement. It defaults to you closest location which isn't what you want many times. Fortunately it confirms before final order but would be nice if you didn't lose it backing out of orders. Also, you can never see pricing until final stage of ordering process. Lastly, there is no way to enter stall number for pickup unless you are physically present. Seems to overlook possibly having someone pick up your order for you.

Absolutely Worthless, it's worse than our current administration. Went to order, continued as guest, when I went to check out it asked me to create an account...then what the hell is the purpose of continuing as a guest. Signed in with an account, says account already exists, use it. I change password, and I use newly created password, says the same error. Not worth downloading and putting up with the hassle!!

Great app, easy to use and good for the discounts ... if it didn't crash all the time. After putting in a long order, it'll say, "Something went wrong - there was an error entering your order." Happens ALL the time now. What good is having the app if I have to go and read it off at the location anyway (and lose the happy hour bargain)? SO frustrating. Needs to be fixed, or there's really no reason to use it--and since they get things wrong half the time when you order live, why come back at all?

Latest update (09 Jun 2023) began crashing immediately when opened tonight (15 Jun 2023). It worked in the late afternoon, but for some reason, without my opening it, at 2200, I started getting alerts on my screen of it repeatedly crashing and that it needed to be placed in deep sleep due to battery drain. Can somebody explain this sudden, unprovoked failure? I've even deleted and reinstalled the app with no change.

Almost half of the time I open the app app, I get a message there is an unexpected error and I have to restart my phone to use the app. When I arrive at the store, I cannot check in. Other times the app works perfectly. This began to be a problem about 2 months ago. I do not have difficulty with any other apps I order from, so it is not my phone. Do you intend to fix this problem?

This is an app. The end. Want combo meals you see right on the order board at the location. Well can't order those in the app. You can order them individually for that up charge. :) cause you know that's the pay off for half price drinks through the app. You still need to go to the location to get the bacon cheeseburger toaster combo. Wanna order it in advance for convenience. Well sonic doesn't care. :)

Decent enough, most of the time, but does have it's detractions. It doesn't always connect to Sonics servers reliably. Customizing an item before making it a combo can cause checkout bugs. It also has some anti-consumer design decisions. (E.g. No item prices listed until checkout, tip begging [defaults are usually under-tipping, too], removal of some automatic special discounts in favor of promotion codes.)

Well it was great until they took off the combo option for the classic chicken sandwich. It's on their menu at the restaurants, so it should be on the app too. Now you have to order all the piece of that former combo individually and it costs more. Guess I'll have to use this app less.

This app is one of the most glitchy, difficult, and backward apps for a fast-food restaurant I've used. Sonic itself is fine, and their food is okay, but we thought that using the app would make it quick and easy. Well, no. The app told us our card was declined and proceeded to charge the bank 4 whole times, and the order never even actually made it to our local sonic. Random crashes, and constant "failure to.." Pop-ups. We have to constantly delete/re-download the app for it to work.

Can't see pricing until you get to check out. You can't see pricing in the menu, nor when it's been added to your cart. They are neglecting the consumer who considers price when purchasing. It's pretty standard to show pricing on a menu when ordering, so it says something about Sonic when they go out of their way to hide the pricing. Also, no real reward system?

The last two times I've tried to place orders it would get all the way to the last step, I'd hit the button to send my order and pay and it would think a bit then say your order has been updated. The items would still be in my bag and Sonic had no record of the order. I tried multiple times the first time and it never went through, but days later I saw charges and credits from the attempt. I tried days later. Still had the same error and order never went through.

Glichiest app I have. Glitches when adding items to cart, when checking out, when paying, loses location on the drive, refuses to connect or login. Great when it works, except the order should be complete after I've received it, not before. So many times, "your order is on the way" and then I have to enter the store and ask for it only to find out they haven't started it yet.

This app is absolutely terrible. Theres all sorts of stability issues, rewards are frequently lost, the menu is confusing at times, the app is sometimes not responsive when you click on some things, and logging in ALWAYS causes there to give the "something went wrong, please try again." Message to pop up. I would absolutely go here more often, provided sonic ever did stop cheaping out on their app and finally got it working. Update: each update is still trash. Still impossible to login. Hate it.
