I've used this app for items at several of the different nearby stores listed and everything is great! The produce and meat I've gotten are all in great shape. It's extremely easy to use and pickup in the stores is easy as well. I've definitely recommend to all my friends and family! It's not available near my sister, but she is excitedly waiting for the program to expand south.

Update: They fixed the issue. Works perfectly now. Great idea. Nice app but it won't let me checkout most days. Says it can't find me and I need to give permission. All permissions are on, my location is on, the app settings show it located me. Tried to uninstall/reinstall. Emailed support. It has let me checkout 3 times out of several days of trying to shop. So, it's hit or miss.

I love this idea. It takes mostly store-brand food and sets it aside half off when it is close (a day to a week) to expiration, but I see items that expire in several months the list. I'd like to lower foodwaste and save money, so I'm glad this app is available in my state. I've only made 1 pick up so far but it went very well! I wish it was for other states and I'm pretty sure that expansion will be coming with as good of an idea as this is.

Amazing deals! I can finally afford stuff normally way out of my price range... Beef, lamb, specialty breads... The stores I've dealt with too have been great so far. I tend to go to the store and look at everything before I buy. Less confusion if they are out of something... And sometimes there are items in the fridge that aren't on the list. If I want it, though, the price usually works out completely in my favour when I go to the counter or cashier to check out. :)

Very dependant on the store. Some stores in my area have great deals, some don't seem to be very involved, some seem to want to scam you with rotten, moldy, or inedible food or bait and switch. The app itself has been very good about refunds when the item is clearly misrepresented or not even there. I think it's a good idea and I hope it spreads everywhere. I get plenty of food that's "expired" that is good for the week and helps my family eat fresh food on a budget.

I like the app' s concept. Veggie boxes are awesome! Minor improvements are needed. I would like a real picture of a weighted item( such as meat) including price sticker containing price and poundage to be mandatory. A lot of stores are using generic pictures or obscuring the price sticker in their pics. Several times I realized I paid the same or more than for fresh. Having an actual unobscured picture will prevent this.

The app is great and easy to use. I've had some problems with items not being available when I go to pick them up but customer service has always taken care of it. And I feel like that is the fault of the retailer and not the app. I just wish the retailers would be better about verifying orders so other people aren't walking off with stuff I paid for (I assume that's what happened)

Need a feature where you can click on things you like and keep a list of what store they are at. Trying to remember what items you saw at what store is very difficult. After you purchase your item and go back to view the purchase, it does not have a total. Need to be able to see total so that I can match it up with my credit card statement. I have to remember to screenshot the total before finishing. Would be great if there were a pic of or info on the nutrition of the product... Need to kn

Very easy to use app. You do have to get your order within a day. Boxes go fast. Be aware that others might grab your box by mistake. There is a bit of an honor system involved. Edit: Stores need to have better systems for making sure people leave with their own purchases. I've had multiple (high value) boxes be taken before I picked them up. It's frustrating to drive to the store to find what you paid for, and we're excited to have scored taken. People make mistakes or some rude decisions.

I love this app, it saves me so much money at the grocery store. I do wish my store would take better pictures of the items, and that the app had the option for two pictures of items, that way they could show the front and the nutrition/ingredients panels. But honestly the money I've saved is worth giving those things up! It also helps me branch out and they different things. I've never in my life cooked so much fish!

The theory of this app is great. The frustrating part is using my location, it says no zones within 16 miles. It doesn't show me the zones that I then could click on to explore. When I point the arrow in all directions from my location and search again, I get the same message. It would be nice if the app just took you to the zone or showed the zines to you for you to decide if you want to drive or not. If it's not in my area at all then I think it should say that.

I absolutely LOVE the FlashFood app and philosophy, but wish the people at the individual stores would take better photos of the grocery items sometimes. Usually it's very easy to see what's listed, but other times I'm not even sure what they're trying to sell especially if it's a brand I've never bought or a food item I've never heard of. The written descriptions are sometimes extremely limited too... I'd be more adventurous at these excellent prices, but need to know what I'm buying.

Have made two purchases through the app and am pleased with the results. I especially appreciated the box of veggies I was able to pick up for a great price. The only issue I've encountered is on the store side. Not everyone has been properly trained on the app, so service can be slow. Or sometimes they take down the information to complete the purchase later, then forget about it. Fortunately, that may not necessarily get in the way of completing a purchase.

Always wonderful.fresh produce boxes and amazing baked goods at a fraction of the price. Top line meats and frozen foods too. All.at a major discount! Never had a bad thing out of one of these boxes. Please remember to go to the service desk so they can put the info into the system. Otherwise the app can't update and other shoppers don't know what's still available. I highly recommend 👌 ☺ 10/10

***the products need more details! For example, pounds of meet. Pictures are still blurry. ***In-store pick up is way better! The concept is wonderful. The app is good but the pictures need to be better, more clear. The actual process in store is very bumpy. Store employees don't really monitor pick up. Hopefully it gets better with time and practice.

Great deals on awesome food! They were out of something with my 1st order so didn't go through. I know things sell out fast. The issue is that I had an introductory coupon but since the order wasn't completed,I had to place a different one & it wouldn't take my coupon then as it showed it had been used, which it hadn't.Disappointing to lose out on the coupon but still very happy with my items and the easy pick up. Wonderful to "rescue" food. I just placed a 2nd order. Will check the app often!

I have had good experience using the app and no issue picking up items from stores. Great way to save money. What I would like to see is that the app set a time limit to cash out. When an item added in cart is still made available to others, received an error code, instead of showing what wasn't available to purchase so I could simply remove it from my cart, I had to back out and went back to the location to redo my shopping list.

What a great way to combat food waste! The items, in my experience, have always been as described and acceptable for use at least for the next day or two (and with some meats, longer with freezing). Some minor app glitches (you should be able to know what item is out of stock instead of emptying your cart), but overall it works well and is user friendly.
