"Updated", the way I was forced to, only to have it keep crashing and refuse to open. I say that I was forced because I tried to place an order, but the app's error message told me that I must update first to be able to place an order. Now I REALLY can't place an order. Junk! 😡 Also restarted phone to see if that would make a difference. This app is the worst now!

worst app ever!!!!!!!!! cost me 20 minutes of time with groceries in the car. wouldn't give me my birthday guac which did not expire for 26 more days. added birthday option but then said item missing along with several other errors that kept popping up. just finally ordered only 1 item and that worked. could not give a lower recommendation. probably outsourced software engineers to add insult to injury.

I used this app to place an order on 10/08. The order was cancelled and never delivered. Chipotle still charged me and refused to refund the transaction even though I sent proof of the cancellation and non-delivery. I was forced to dispute the charge with my bank. This event was deeply upsetting and the fact that Chipotle was not willing to do anything about it was even more upsetting. I will never order delivery from Chipotle again and I caution anyone else from doing so with this app.

Would've given it a much higher score, but it won't stop asking about surveys. UPDATE: Can't synchronize a simple password reset, struggles with payment methods, this app is laid out well enough, but just cannot function.

Frequently has issues with being able to sign in, submit payments, etc. When it works it works just fine but I've had to go back to using the website to order for the past month due to not being able to login to the app. Edit history: Mar-Sept 2023, can't sign in. Sept-Oct 2023, payment processing doesn't work.

VERY BUGGY APP!!! Today I can't even get in it. Trying to place an order & it says that it needs to be updated. I've been trying for 30 minutes & all it says is 'pending,' with that spinning circle. And there's no way to place an order on the app unless the update is downloaded. Updated Oct 2023: For months now, it won't even let me sign in or create a new account! "Sorry, something's not right. Please try again." I've tried uninstalling it then reinstalling & it still doesn't work!

This app frequently pushes deceptive notifications that tell me I've been given a free reward, but then it's never in my inventory when I check. Worse, there's always about a 10% chance that the order will be filled at a different store than requested. No warning.

Removing Stars since app doesn't use GPS location when ordering. Even though I chose correct location it reverted back to previous place I placed my order, maybe timed out, don't know. But I ended up leaving a location that was next to my job to driving 30mins away to another location to pick up food. That really sucked.

It's not a very good app. Want rice, beans, fajita veggies, cheese, salsa, sour cream, and lettuce? Too bad, you are limited to 5 selections. Ordering from 500 yards away from a restaurant? Better double check the address because the app will send you wherever. Rewards are minimal and unimpressive. "Spend $80, get a free tortilla!" ain't a great selling point. Basically, if you want an incomplete order from the wrong restaurant this app is for you, otherwise it is garbage

If I order the "3 Taco" option, the tacos must be identical. To mix and match for variety, e.g., order 1 barbacoa, 1 Carnitas, and 1 Chicken Taco, I am forced to select "1 taco" and then build 3 seperate tacos without receiving the 3 Taco discount. Also, the app gives me the ability to click on a heart icon to make a menu selection a favorite; however, this is useless, because there is no Favorites menu available from which to make selections???

Fairly over-designed (and thus slow) interface. Lots of annoying extra motion as parts of pages load. Not quite as bad as Xfinity's new website, but still annoying. The app logged me out for the first time in years today, and the SMS codes required to log in arrived after a 20 minute delay.

This review has nothing to do with the food and everything to do with the app. When I can't update my phone number without having to call in and deal with an outdated phone system that continually asks me if I want to do a catering order and leaves me frustrated without getting anything updated, then the customer service needs a serious update to the 21st century. Either allow us to update our phone through the app without having to call in or get a better system.

Crashes after placing order. With an order in queue, I cannot reopen the app without it crashing. Clearing cache doesn't help. Uninstalling and reinstalling doesn't help. As soon as I log back in, it immediately crashes. At least it sent me an email confirmation.

The customer support on this app is really good. However ai have a major issue with the selection of what restaurant to order at. Twice now I have ordered at the wrong restaurant, nearly 2x as far away. And the app just let's you do it! There should be at least verification "are you sure you want to order here?" if that is implemented, this app will be an easy 5 stars.

The app had a bug when placing a pick up order. It kept saying error try again later. Despite this and not receiving any confirmation order nor email, they still charged my gift card and the leftover amount on my credit card. Tried contacting their manager in-store and their help line and gift card line. None of them could help me with a refund or anything. They basically stole from me and refuse to give me my damn food. Had to basically put in a dispute. Absolutely terrible experience.

Frustrating to use. Can't use my rewards points for anything. I follow the directions and go to check out only to be told I don't meet the requirements. And when I tried to reach out for help on the app the bots didn't understand and could only give me pre-written responses that had zero to do with my issue. I really don't wanna complain about a rewards program but it's frustrating when you spend money and can't use said rewards. btw I'm still gonna eat at chipotle, the app just sucks!

The order ahead is NEVER a realistic timeframe. I would prefer honest pickup/delivery time over a pie in the sky estimate that usually misses the mark by ~20(!) Minutes. What's the point of ordering ahead if you end up watching the people that come in after you enjoy their meals?.... Can't recommend the food enough, chipotle is life. However, the app and frankly the entire new reward system sucks. I'll choose the local burrito place over chipotle for the time being #stepitup

Here's why I can't stand using this app. Number 1, it's usually faster to just go wait in line because their poor staff is always overwhelmed. Number 2, I've tried scanning at the register 3 times and it has never actually added the points from my order. I've even tried adding the receipt afterwards but no dice. Basically, I know chipotle wants data, and I REALLY want their rewards, but the app just doesn't work with their workflow and it has never actually worked for me. Totally frustrated.
