I logged in, home address already there, good. I clicked the "Hamburger" category. The chain near my house that my family wanted popped up. I clicked on it, made my order, and submitted. This is when I noticed the order wasn't with the restaurant a few minutes away, it was one 20+ minutes away, 2 cities over. Oops, I didn't check the address, but why would that be the 2nd search result, when there are 5 closer ones? Cold food. Otherwise, the app is great, just that one complaint. Thanks.

Refund and compensation bit is subpar in comparison to other apps such as doordash. If you have a bug where orders are changed despite what someone taps, that bug is not great to deal with. When you offer a refund and then retract it as well while not listening to the client saying that the item received is not what was *wanted* in the wake of UI bug/error, that's poor customer service.

So far it has been work the best compared to the garbage ubber and doorsdash. I thought it would be the same but grubhub is much better, faster delivery and if there is a problem they help you out with refund etc. I hope they can keep this app going without any problems, I will keep using and recommending it as long as the service still good

Some of my orders have been either wrong, overcooked, messed up, missing items, or delivered to wrong address. It would be greatly appreciated if the restaurants make extra sure that the order is completely & fully correct & the drivers make complete sure the items are delivered to the correct address!

Grubhub customer service is terrible. My most recent order arrived nearly an hour late after being ready for pick up while I could see the driver driving all over town on the map. My order was missing items and the items we did get were ice cold. When you finally get a hold of their customer service, they're not empowered to do anything to assist. You may as well be talking to an AI assistant because basically just say "sorry--here's a $5 promo." I'm going back to Doordash for better service.

Convenience is nice but when the app upcharges items without disclosing this to customers I feel this is dishonest. I can get a cheaper delivery through the restaurants' dedicated app than through grubhub that's with plus membership to remove the $9 delivery fee you still get a service fee tacked on at almost $3 extra). Still cheaper to order and tip through the restaurants' apps. Maybe this would work better if they didn't upcharge so much on each item.

Considering this is just an app that provides the ability to place orders on the behalf of local restaurants and provides delivery service for them and us as well (I live in an area where a large cluster of restaurants are available to order from so I save a little $ by picking my orders up myself) there really isn't much that can go wrong but so far so good.

As far as food delivery apps go, this is a great one in design. It's easy to understand and gives you all the things you want, like other brands. Issue is driver availability. Once they get more late night spots and more drivers, I'd be more interested.

It is literally impossible to place an order because none of my payment methods would go through - various credit cards, Paypal, Google Pay, literally nothing works. Doesn't work on the website or app on different devices. And every time I try again, I have to add everything back to cart. Beyond frustrating. Happens every time I try to order on Grubhub or Seamless, days or weeks apart. Literally can't use the service even if I wanted to.

Does not work. Reset my cache data, uninstalled and reinstalled, full connection to wi-fi, mobile data, nothing. Every time I try to order, it keeps giving me the error "something went wrong." Cards are all updated, information is right, but for some reason it won't push my requests through.

Needs work on a few levels to compete with the big boys. I only have grubhub+ since it's free right now, & based on experience so far have no plans on renewing at a cost. The app won't even accept my debit card for some weird reason (major logo, no issues with other services, apps or retailers) and just says "problem with payment check card". Re-entry and even reinstalling hasn't fixed it so no orders from me! Also, options are limited with lower ratings in comparison to DoorDash & ubereats.

Down to 1 Star. Not only has this issue never been addressed, but now the screen turns on even with the notifications in silent mode. It's becoming to look like the only way to stop this damn app from turning my screen on is to not have it installed in the first place. Is it really this hard to get a notification and not have the screen turn on at all? I found that the only way to make sure that this app doesn't turn my screen on is to turn off notifications entirely. Now I can't be notified :(

After 2 years of using this app, I've had to move over to the competitors. Nothing wrong with the app itself, but the drivers are completely incompetent. In the last 2 months I've got the wrong order twice, I've had multiple missing items, drivers have dropped the food off at my neighbor's house, and dropped the food off at some random house I've never seen. Trying to call the driver is impossible, as the never pick up. The texting feature doesn't work.

I like the service, but the app is terrible. You can't sort by type of food, and if you click on anything to see a menu, you can't return to your place on the list of restaurants. It just reloads the entire page. Very poor user interface for something as brain dead as selecting menu items.

I'm giving 2 stars because they usually refund when there's a problem or at least post some kind of credit, however I'm not sure it's worth it, if I didn't have the free Amazon delivery fee I would probably never use this app. I would say about half the time the orders are running super late and there have been so many times that the order was just totally wrong. Yesterday for example I literally waited two and a half hours for my order, and right this moment I'm eating somebody else's salad.

5/4/23 update: changed from 2 to 4 stars. Customer service has improved GREATLY! App is ok. Usually at least one mistake in my order. Sometimes I receive a refund for the mistake, sometimes I don't. Sometimes the delivery time is accurate, sometime the drivers change and it takes hours. Pretty much just rolling the dice with every order.

Too bad... First and last time using this app. Can't tip after order is dropped off even though the app states you can. Driver and restaurant did not follow instructions. Took 10 minutes to figure out how to even contact support. Support not helpful. Can't rate the driver or the restaurant/order. There's too many options out there and this one is not user friendly at all.

The app have significantly improved over time, but maps still work horrible. The point on the map is different from the address I entered, and I can't just move a pin, like in Uber. And the most surprising- me and the driver see different positions of the pin. If you don't fix it the app is completely useless.
