Mostly enjoy using this app and the convenience. I would request that a list of items that I ordered that aren't available be given to me at time of pick up so I know when I need to go somewhere else to get the rest of what I need before I drive all the way home. Also, an option to review individual orders would be helpful; today I requested paper bags only and was given all plastic bags.

I love hy vee and the app is pretty good except for one issue. When you are searching for product or coupons if you want to take a closer look after you look at it the list goes to the very beginning nobody wants to look through hundreds of items and then start all over again because they wanted a closer look this issue needs to be taken care of please. It would then make the app perfect thank you

Items to select for pickup or delivery are not at all well synced to the actual store inventory. Be "flexible" on your plans because half your order may be out of stock even though you could add it to your cart. Substitutions are no good either, the shopper will text to ask you what you want substituted instead of just looking at what you picked on the app, sometimes substituting a completely different thing. You'd think after 3 years of pandemic they would have this figured out.

App kept navigating slower and slower. Last week it said I needed a forced update. Followed directions and it showed it was downloading, but never completed the process. So I decided to delete the app so I could reinstall--since that time, it has been trying to download and will not complete, so now I have no Hy-Vee app on my phone. It's ashame because I used it a lot. Now have to go to my desktop to order.

As an employee, this app saddens me. It takes over a minute to open, just to get to the main menu area, no matter how fast of an internet connection I am on. Browsing ads is virtually impossible. It takes forever just to go through one ad. The older app was faster and much easier to browse ads.

Advertised BOGO type deals dont work once you add items to the cart. Reached out to support on this, but they never seem to respond. The app is clunky as well and has alot of menus that take alot of time to load. There is a error message sporadically showing after the latest update as well. Shame, since I actually like purchasing from Hy-Vee, but I won't if these issue persist sadly.

Wow! The other reviews were right, this IS terrible. Since I only wanted it to see the ads and none of the other features I thought it would okay. Nope! I was definitely won't. It is incredibly slow!! The pictures take so long to load I feel like I'm back to using dial up rather than high-speed wifi. I was hoping the app would be more streamline than looking up the ads on their website. Isn't that the point of apps?

Still crashes sometimes or makes you sign in when you just used it. I still would like the ability to edit submitted orders before picking up. Like if I forget something which is often. I'd like to go into the order and add. As long as it's well before pick up. Like give us a window like Walmart and Price Chopper or Instacart does.

The app, and HyVee, try to do too much and, by doing so, it becomes confusing and cumbersome. It's probably more the way HyVee markets items than the app itself. The app frustrates and tires me out trying to locate all the various "deals," coupons, fuelsaver, and sale options. This is then reflected when shopping for certain items as the store itself can't keep up with its promotions. If it wasn't for fuelsavers I'd probably quit shopping there.

App crashes more than it works. Considering I paid a $100 annual fee for grocery delivery, this is unacceptable. When I search for common food items, it repeatedly says "Oops." Sometimes it will randomly find the item seconds later. Some days, the search does not work at all. They have lost my business because I have had to give up and buy elsewhere. Invest in your tech, HyVee. I have re-installed the app. Restarted my phone. App still does not work. This has been occurring for weeks.

Very difficult to maneuver around the app. They show ad flyers that don't open up and send emails with coupons that are expired. I will try to search for something by brand name or exact descriptions and it can't find the item. When they send an email and you want to add a coupon it makes you log in and takes you away from the coupon you want to load thus you have ti hunt for it. Frustrating!

*UPDATE* They appear to have addressed some of the issues and it is now easier to make and use lists.*OLD*NOW IT SO MUCH HARDER TO MAKE LISTS! I want to clip coupons and make lists for in store shopping. It now takes multiple clicks for every food item to get it on the list. Loading each coupons is painfully slow. I now just use the web interface where I can make lists with ease and load coupons with no delay. The app wastes my time.

First, it wouldn't open. Then after doing this this and the other- it opened and i was able to finish shopping, and then it wouldn't get past the store/pickup selection screen. Now I've deleted and reinstalled the app, and it won't even go past the log in screen. I can't get customer service on the line, I am so frustrated and fed up, and my experience with the personal shoppers at my local stores has been poor anyway. Uninstalled the app and will not be recommend it anymore.

This app is not better. It opens very slowly. Too slow. The previous version was laid out much better. For example, on th would App it was easy to find HyVee locations and store hours, now I cannot find that information anywhere on the App. Access to the Fuel Saver bar code is no simple and straightforward. On the old App I could use the product locator to find items in the store. I don't know how to do this now.

7/23/21 edit. OMG still bad. Does not replace old app and they have crippled the old application. I can only add to cart and not have a normal shopping list. My shopping list from the website (and loaded coupons/etc.) do not sync to this application. Going through deals it is a two step process to add to the shopping cart but as stated, I just want a list. The old was great. I say was because now in the old app if you click on deals, you are prompted to download this garbage app.

No way to delete a credit card; No per ounce pricing info, making comparisons hard; Once in awhile, same product is listed twice with 2 different prices; No way to check what you ordered, only the actual fulfilled order is shown; Often items on app are not available to the shopper. Otherwise the Hy-Vee app is stable, I like being able to choose subs, and the rest of the logistics from shopping to delivery is usually smooth. Any issues are sorted fast with a call to the Hy-Vee customer service.

Just a rotten app. The option to tell shoppers to use their judgment is gone, but they also can't see our substitutions. We end up getting text after text! You can't narrow down the deals lists into just the sections you want, and it randomly decides you've gone far enough down the list and sends you back to the top. When they do the "buy this, get this other item free" deals, you can't click on the other item. Most annoyingly, you can't use recipes on the app and have to go to the site. Sigh.

This new app is a joke. Locks up the screen so you can't exit. To actually make a grocery list, instead of pushing an item once, you now must push it 6 times. Unlike it says, you can't find items outside the ads. Trying to access your account to scan takes multiple touches versus the previous slide. This app is actually a big step back from what it was. I refuse to order groceries for others to fill as I've watched them grabbing produce and tossing in the carts. No care taken to inspect it.
