It's fine when it works but today it pissed me off! Had an order in bag, put three phone down for a few to do other things. Picked it up to order and it wouldn't let me check out. Close the app and reopen, now the app won't even get past the loading screen despite multiple attempts. Uninstall and reinstall, app loads but then when I try to log in I get an error. Tried 5 times and no dice. I just wanted some freaking lunch!

McDonald's and Wendy's are in direct competition for who can deliver the worst possible user experience. Too frequently does this app refuse to do anything. Won't load at all, won't load my account, won't load the menu, won't load my cart, won't load my payment options, and even if I manage to get through all those hurdles? "We're sorry! An error has been detected." Completely meaningless message. No, I don't need to reinstall the app. That doesn't work and even if it did it's not a real fix.

Offers constantly error out during checkout, removing discounts and charging you full price. App can get frozen on startup screen, requiring a full restart. Simply adding food to an order is obtuse, because placing an order is at least three menus deep, as opposed to the first thing you see when you open the app. Extra charges for condiments or toppings are sometimes hidden so be careful when selecting sauces. Really annoying experience, needs a full rework.

While the rest of the app is fine, the part I try to use the most, adding a receipt to my rewards, doesn't work! I fill out all the info on my receipt, and then when it asks for a picture of my receipt, touching the button to do that does nothing. I have emailed Wendy's and never gotten a reply. Maybe the developer should fix this!

Suddenly doesn't work for me. Won't deliver to my address anymore because "city is required" but the city is clearly written, it was auto completed by the app. Also the love chat button doesn't work, so I can't get help. I also lost all my rewards points because the app updated, signed me out, amd when I signed back in I had 0 suddenly. Terrible app.

When you click get offer and can't get it. Offers need to be more consistent with ads. When it works, it works fairly well. Only occassionally have I had it error on an order. It's improved much over the last year. Offering rewards is still inconsistent with advertising.

Ordered and paid for delivery through app and only recieved have of my order. App offered no option to address and fix the issue just a simple survey on the website that acts like its going to address the issue by asking if and what went wrong with order and asks if you'd like to be contacted to further discuss it so they can resolve or refund it but I've never been contacted. Even tried multiple times with the survey. Also, I've had rewards points dissappear and show I redeemed but didn't.

App works for the most part, missing a lot of fundamental options though. A lot mistakes. Multiples of the same topping listed in add-ons. A sneaky 30¢ charge for dipping sauce on the nuggets without notice. No Coke Freestyle options requiring you to adjust mobile order at pickup. Some things missing. Side Chicken Breast, Side Cheese Sauce, Individual Dipping Sauces (only purchasable via nuggets or strips). Foods good. Apps bad. Please fix and it'll be a perfect experience every time.

I had terrible experience whereas I made an order for pickup thru the app and paid for it. The app told me it was ready to be picked up and then went in to get it and it wasn't there, the person behind the counter looked on all systems and it was on any of them. Showed them the app and order confirmation and my bank statement showing it was paid, was told that they couldn't do anything there whereas the app is a third party company and to come back the next day if I haven't been refunded.

ETA: Once again, one of the worst restaurant apps. Just ordered, had a reward on my card, scanned, didn't come off my bill but points went away. This app has gotten worse. Signing in with a new phone is impossible. When you try to sign in, it just returns to the sign in page without giving an error as to why (e.g., wrong password, wrong username, system problem, etc.) Unfortunately, to order or see offers, you need to sign in.

The ordering and customization experience is very good. Coupons are always present but they've buried them in the app. I constantly get failed purchases which is incredibly frustrating. Not only can I not place my order but the coupon I used disappears so I end up spending $4-5 more in the restaurant. Unacceptable from a major restaurant in 2023.

9 times out of ten when I try to order I get an "oops something went wrong" or "it looks like that location has gone on break" but like for every location I can find in a 100 mile radius, so they're obviously not in break... I've tried uninstalling, I've tried clearing cache, clearing data, signing out signing back in, nothing works.... Usually I just don't order wendys anymore. Please fix app, because I don't order at the window, if I can't do mobile orders I just move on the the next option!

I am literally unable to reinstall the app. When I had it installed before, it logged me out and then froze when I tried to open, so I figured I would uninstall and then reinstall to fix it. Now that it's un-installed, it will not reinstall. When I press the "install" button, it flashes a download progress for a fraction of a second and then resets to "install". When I did have the app before it would frequently get stuck, but otherwise the deals were decent and the customization was helpful.

I wasted a lot of time on this app. I uninstalled and reinstalled it and it was still a bust. Wouldn't let me proceed with any of the online offers and they cashed out reward points without applying the reward. The whole point of this is to save time and claim online perks, and I did neither. It did let me order food so there is that at least. And my service at that Wendy's (604) was good. But overall I found the app frustrating.

It app works like it's supposed to when it does. But occasionally, when you want to run the app, it gets stuck in an infinite animation loop trying to log in. I can try clear data, cashe, or try reinstalling. It'll run normally until I try to log in, and then I'm back where I started. The only solution I got is that if you want to order online for any reason, use the web browser and wait it out till the issue resolves itself. It takes quite a while. Maybe complain to Wendy's will works faster.

Coupons sometimes disappear after I add them to my account. Seems to be an issue for my whole family on all of their own devices. Such a trash app. This has been happening for over a year now. Contacted support and they said that I have to logout and back in but couldn't do anything about the fact the coupon expired the same day. I asked if they could reissue it, and they told me no and hung up the chat which was super rude. The support for the app is just as bad as the app itself.

I do not like getting ice in my drinks however the app still has not been updated to allow a no ice option. This has not been addressed or fixed in 4 months. The Wendy's app by far is the worst application I've ever experienced that apparently will never be fixed. All the features that you would expect that you can utilize do not work and always create an error especially when applying discounts as if Wendy's is trying to keep customers from using the rewards center.

Rewards expire too quickly and without warning. No response to contact via email, app, or message on social media. Have to cancel the entire order just to change pick-up location. (Please check out McDonald's app for a great example of how this can be done seamlessly!) App is glitchy and doesn't always go through to restaurant, causing a charge to account but never receiving food.
