any light source from a window, reflection off a mirror, etc affects the drawing making it very difficult to have a clean drawing. once you figure that out, you have to figure out how to hold the phone/recording device aiming at the artist while you look at the tv. overall, it's too complex and a hokey extension to regular pictionary which is really fun.

Interesting idea but the app is poor. The picture quality tested on three different devices was very dark compared to the native camera picture of each one so not user friendly. Can only be used in a very brightly lit room. We will be returning this for a refund.

Cool idea but screen mirror needs work. In the phone app turning to landscape mode works fine but when screen mirror to my LG is on it shows portrait mode. So you end up with a portrait screen with the image on its side. All apps turn to landscape on my TV, except Pictionary (so not a screen mirror issue). Hopefully this is fixed before Christmas (intended family game date). #update Landscape mode now works. Perfect fun now.

Using android phone. Only works with back camera? Then when you cast to the TV, everything is backwards? Who draws backwards? It is impossible. Very poor execution. Waste of money. We can't us it. Update: for those experiencing the same issue, once you hit play, before you hit start timer, there is an icon to swap to front camera. We found it by accident. Will update to 3 stars because it was not apparent that that is what we needed to do. Once we got this figured out, it was pretty good.

Having problems connecting the airpen. When I try to set it up in the app, I switch it on and goes straight to red, no pulsing orange, after which the app says can't connect pen. I'm guessing the pen is faulty?

Bought this for my son's birthday. App doesn't work, it just displays a yellow screen.

This app isn't working at this time on various devices, Android and iOS on multiple networks, WiFi and Mobile Data. Looks like there's a cloud outage. I just bought this and can't use it at all. Only the logo screen loads and it gets stuck on a yellow screen indefinitely. Help!

Just got this game and we have played twice. It has been very fun and easy to set up, play and cast to the TV. Still learning to position the pen and keep out extra light but it has worked fine for us with two Android phones and a LG Smart TV.

It's not as bad as everyone says. It takes some work to get the lighting right and figure out where to hold the phone, and your draw area. Once you work that out, it's actually pretty fun. The kids love it (despite any imperfections). You don't have to cast to a TV. It just makes it a little easier for bigger groups to not have to watch just the phone. Overall it could use some improvement, but it's a lot of fun just as it is. If you're impatient or not tech savvy, stick with the original game.

Good game is fun for a while it could be better. Can you improve the game mode to use the face camare, we used on front of the TV (casting to TV) so we can see what we are drawing, but we don't have the options to set score or timer , also it would be good to have some other drawing cards on the app as well to pick randomly. Thanks .

Keep other LED light sources out of the camera's view! We couldn't work out why the pen was drawing lines all over the place in the app when it (the pen) wasn't even turned on, then I realised the app was interpreting the LED lights on my Christmas tree as the light source from the pen. Anyway got the hang of it now and great fun. Best to close your eyes, picture what you want to draw in your head and draw while keeping eyes shut.

fun game. kinda hard to see what you're drawing. you draw into the camera with the phone facing you. you have to look at the TV behind you or in a mirror cause left and right would be reversed otherwise. camera has to be stable and level with the pen. pretty fun and cool but would like the drawing to be easier to see as your drawing and the lines to be more solid instead of looking like crayon drawings

This app is a total resource hog...needs to be better optimized. Though I may not have the most recent phone, 20 minutes of play results in close to 50% power usage. Also, this appears to affect the stability of the app as the phone can't keep up (sluggish drawing, camera freezes, app crashes/shuts down). Tried turning off music, really doesn't help. Using a whiteboard now.

the game itself is really cool, that's what caught attention, but it's the only good thing about it. all mentioed in comments (1-star) are true, shame I didn't check before buying the game. tried on many phones: xiaomi really doesn't support, it opens, but draws random lines whatever you do fully covering the screen, impossible. samsung phones every other just crashes, delays and lags. the ones you get to start normally, draws random lines. developer lag: draws when you move your phone, not pen

doesn't work with galaxy s23 phones. Can't differentiate the green and red light, and picks up green pot plants in background.

The picture on the box is a little deceiving as TV is shown in background with full screen implying landscape mode. We bought this thinking the same, too late to return since my little one broke the box. The actual size however is portrait mode only since thats what the application supports, with wide black bands on the side with limited tv screen viewing area. Pretty disappointed with the app so far, good concept but poor execution and no updates makes this a bummer.

Actually very fun! The built-in chromecast option didn't work, so I had to mirror the screen from the Google home app, but otherwise it's pretty functional and makes for a great game night. Some additional notes: A) It's best played in a dimly-lit room, where the pen light stands out, and B) perhaps it's because of the lack of a gyroscope in my phone, but you have to keep the phone still so that the drawing doesn't get all messed up. Anyway, overall, it was a good laugh :) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Heating up my Samsung s21 ultra like crazy.. just 10 mins of usage has heated up the phone to a level that I couldn't keep it in pocket. Crazy.
