This app is extremely useful when listening to music and singing along. It is able to look up the lyrics, and usually quite accurately, for most songs. I give it a full 5 stars because of how helpful it has been in analyzing music. The only exception here is that it doesn't always work for lesser known songs. If it worked for all songs, that would be quite impressive and next to impossible. Thanks for the great app, love it and would highly recommend it!

I love this app, I have been using it for about 6 years and haven't had many problems with it. Lately I've only had one problem with it, I can't change the song cover like before, it doesn't let me, the only thing that pops up is a message saying "To change this song's cover please change its album's one" that has never popped up until I recently updated the app. Any help would be appreciated.

This is awesome! I'm just glad I'm a great driver with nearly a million miles of experience otherwise I'd be worried about learning lyrics while driving being a dangerous distraction. Teenagers and early twenty something's, if you don't have the means to buy a new car and most likely pay someone for some damages you caused, then do not use this app (at least while driving). It automatically pops up whenever I start playing music. I love it!

Decent app with 2 flaws. 1) it opens automatically which is obtrusive. You don't always want to read lyrics. If you close it, it automatically pops back up with the next song played. 2) timing is off with lag of some bluetooth devices. There should be a manual delay setting. Example, my ford work truck could be a whole like behind while my portable speaker is right on. Not all devices are created equal. I'm going to uninstall now because it has popped back twice while writing this.

I rarely give an app, 5 stars because nothing in this world is perfect. However, I have to give Musixmatch all 5 stars because I've seen the app grow over time into what it has become today. Having the lyrics readily available is awesome, but what's even better is having the opportunity to be a part of the Musixmatch academy and assist in adding, syncing, editing, and verifying lyrics. No other app offers this that I know of. Thanks, Musixmatch, for allowing me to be a part of the "family"!!👍😁

Fixed (as of May 2023) (from 2018...) This is definitely an improving lyrics app. Only problem is it automatically pops up (opens up in the background) when I guess it hears some kind of music, so I have to shut it down. A little annoying but it is okay. Still like the app very much.

This app is bloody useless. As much as I want to use it and contribute to the songs I love to listen to daily. This app prevents that from happening with terrible UI glitches, awful loading times, and nonexistent server pings. I just spent 6 minutes reformatting and syncing a song, and once I hit send, the app crashed, and the edits didn't save. This app stays open in the background regardless if you closed it or not, forcing me to force stop in the android settings. Fix your garbage!!

For a lot of songs that I listen to, it keeps showing lyrics from a different song with the same or similar name. Sometimes it tells that lyrics haven't been added for a song but the lyrics for that song were showing correctly an hour earlier. I really do like this app, it just has these problems that it needs to fix for it to be better.

Mostly ok but the fact that they use the customer's to sync the lyrics is ridiculous. I appreciate when the songs are in sync but there are so many songs that are not. Most customers suck at this task. And some may even purposely mess things up and have the ability to do so. Paid and trained staff would do a much better job. I would gladly pay extra for this. Not to mention alot of the lyrics are incorrect and they rely again on the customers to edit the songs. ??? Why???

This app just isn't what it used to be. This used to be my go-to app, I rarely use it anymore. Floating Lyrics is finicky, everything is either behind a paywall or an AD that pops up whenever you do even the most mundane tasks just as change a song or minimize the song play screen to look at your list of songs. Party mode changed, can't fix all songs at the same time anymore without paying premium. Doesn't allow me to fix certain songs' info. Has bugs that mess up albums.

Galaxy Note 9/Android Pie. There are many technical difficulties with this app and technical Support is basically non-existen. One example: It is nice to have it running in the background so that when Spotify is started the lyrics come up automatically. However, with neither Spotify nor this app running in the foreground it frequently starts Spotify and bursts forth in song like a scene from The Sound of Music. Not funny during a business conference call. Removing this app corrected that problem.

I *love* the idea of the widget from this app. Unfortunately, it's lacking a lot of attention to detail With some iteration, I'd recommend this app happily. - The little orange icon doesn't go away when I'm not listening to music. - If I open the widget after a song starts playing it doesn't show lyrics. - I can only choose between 1 line of lyrics or an entire screen. I want 3 lines. - When showing a full screen to lyrics the background doesn't fade out. - When lyrics aren't available the background doesn't fade out. - Limited background colors.

This has been hit or miss with consistency for the app itself. It is great at recognizing songs and providing lyrics but inconsistant in many ways. The app doesnt always pop up when you start playing music. Sometimes it will activate automatically. Sonetimes i have to go into the app to turn it on. It hardly ever keeps the floating lyrics screen set to how it set it. Even though i enable it to remember the previous settings, it wabts to do its own thing.

Absolutely horrendous way to sync lyrics. "Highlighting" word by word makes no sense. Going line by line means having to add/subtract a fixed amount of seconds with no accruacy. No wonder so many lyrics in Spotify are terribly synced. Years ago they had a more intuitive way to sync. Go back to that. It's infuriating taking time out of one's day to try to help sync lyrics and making zero progress because the tools are so confusing. App used to be good, now it's horrible smh.

The idea is great, but the execution... Elements of the app randomly swap places, errors pop up all the time and actually editing lyrics is hell. I tagged the structure of a song then synced the lyrics. Upon publishing, the tags were gone. I was translating a song, some of the lines didn't publish, when I try to add them, an error pops up. Also the line count changed to song playing bar halfway through the translation
Paradox Creatives
My subscription is ending at the end of the year and I have no plans to renew it. This app isn't the same app I loved when I first downloaded it years ago. Everything is just inconvenient now. The identify lyrics feature doesn't work and the app crashes every now and then. Not to mention the times I got general error messages when trying to identify a song and the countless times I encountered network error despite having a reliable internet connection when searching for lyrics. Useless.

Very well rounded app. The adds are non-intrusive & minimal, lyrics are spot on. It minimizes to a chat head-style bubble when you want it out of the way. Too bad there are some songs that aren't allowed to be displayed. Only gripe I have is it tries to display audio for EVERYTHING. I thought it comical that it was confused why it couldn't find lyrics to my audiobook. Other than that, 👏 to the devs.

I used this app for a couple years. When it works, it's great. However, there are multiple bugs that tends to make this app useless. Regardless of what it says, this does not work with Google Play Music or You Tube Music. When lyrics do pop up, it immediately goes to the end of the song and displays the last lyrics of the song. Floating lyrics work sometimes, but half the time they won't. Those are just a few bugs I dealt with for years, even being a paid premium member.
