I'd like the ability to turn off the notification that "today's paper has been downloaded". You have two OS level notification channels of very similar name. Please make a feature to filter out your opinion section. You can still publish it, just please help me to never have to see it. Clicking on some stories doesn't work, just makes app shake.

I subscribed for print delivery and the app. I have not received any printed copies. This would be ok but the app does not seem to have as much content as the printed edition. The app itself functions without problems. The content on the app can be completely read in less than 30 minutes. Some content still stays active as unread even if it was read, and it lingers in the app for up to 7 days even after it is read.

They have eliminated the option to see the full paper. None of the pricing is available. This only shows the articles and, because you don't see the full paper, I have no idea if the application provides all the articles. Considering my local paper does provide that information for well under half the annual price of the WSJ I am very disappointed. However, they solve the weird thing of making you hunt down the full article which I used to have to do before the "upgrade".

Never received one delivery of the actual paper, despite paying for the print and digital subscription. They charge your account days before the actual renewal date, and don't refund any renewal. The cancellation process is aggravating. It took me 20 minutes, and I had to call and listen to somebody give me offer after offer when I really just wanted to cancel. The actual stories and reporting were just fine. It's similar to any other reputable news source, just way more aggravating.

After all this time you'd think that the app would be able to correctly do simple things like open an image/illustration so that you could examine it closely. The app tries to do that, but all you get is a blank page. I assume the function works on some devices, but it sure doesn't work on mine, which is a modern and popular phone, the pixel 6A. There's other stuff like this. Wake up Wall Street journal

Multiple typos daily. It's okay. I like the paper. My problems with the app are as follows. First, no tabbed browsing. I like being able to go through and open tabs for what I'm going to read, then go back when I have time and read them all. Second, The editorials are definitely far right, which I would expect from Murdoch, but I wish the editorial board would try to be more diverse. Third, ads. Why are there ads in a paid only app? Also, the number of anti-vax ads is alarming.

I have enjoyed reading the WSJ on my phone for the last 2 years, but over the last several weeks, the app has stopped working. When I try to read an article, the app hangs up and the article never loads. Tried to uninstall and the reinstall, but I still have the same problem. Based upon other reviews, this appears to be a common problem. I find it unbelievable that WSJ has allowed this to go on for so long.

Great content in a beautiful app. The only improvement I can think of is to store preferences in the cloud, like saved articles. When switching devices, all preferences are lost, since they're only stored on the device. Other than that, it is a near perfect reading experience.

Click through on notifications has a bug on the pixel 4xl where it loads the page but leaves a large "Content Unavailable" water mark over the app. I have to leave the page and come back to the story to read it without the water mark. It's really frustrating. If I open the app before clicking the notification then I don't have a problem but that seems silly. What's the point of the notifications if click through is so bad? Otherwise no complaints, great app

Update: App continues to crash and fails to load an article. The news is great, but the app has some issues. "Followed" authors and saved articles aren't saved to your account, so are deleted if reinstalling the app or moving to a new device. Very annoying. I also experience a common issue where the app takes you back to the top of the news section after backing out of an article, requiring you to scroll all the way back down to your place. Some articles also don't give to save to favorites.

Love the fact that I have access to all the great news content from WSJ, but there's a glitch in the Android app that shows an error message when I try to access an article from the notification pull down tray. I can still see the article, but there's an error message super imposed on top of it that obscures parts of the article. I've emailed WSJ about this buy the problem persists. The monthly subscription fee is too high for me to have to deal with this glitch.

Good publication with interesting articles, although they are a little right-leaning (they should be more fair and balanced). The subscription price is extremely expensive for the content provided. And if you sign up for any special deals for the first month or two, beware that you won't be able to cancel on their website because the cancel button is disabled! You have to call them on the phone and jump through a few hurdles in order to cancel.

Easy to navigate. Lacks many features such as the option to select different background reading colors. You only get white, the physical paper is a different tint. Search sucks. Barely any options to filter search results. If you enter the exact title of an article, it will never appear.
A Google user
It's OK for a quick read of the news. But, if someone sends me a link to an article or I click on a link from twitter, etc., the app suddenly needs me to log in again. I can't even get back to the 'home' page...it completely does not recognize me as a subscriber. I have to close the app out. When I try to search for the article that the link tried to give me, it can't find them. These are recent articles...I'm usually being sent articles from that day.
James Corcoran
The app and layout are good. Easy to read and navigate. Sometimes when I click on a push notification, I can't read the article. Even though I am in the app, I am being forced to log in. I need to close the app, go back in and find the article in the notifications section. It's an inconvenience, but it's a really annoying inconvenience.

Not wild about the app. Not nearly as good as print edition IMO. New subscriber to WSJ digital edition. I've read paper off and on, and recent content seems to have some political bias that I could do without. So tired of having to struggle to find unbiased reporting these days. The above said, the app works. Doesn't close or fail. It does its job.
A Google user
The WSJ app never works, which makes my subscription a total waste of money since I'm rarely on my desktop PC when I need to access articles. Every time I click a WSJ article in Twitter, the app gives me nothing but the spinning arrow. The only way I can get to an article is by searching for it in a web browser, so I usually have to give up rather than waste time trying to find it that way. WSJ is the only one of dozens of apps/links I have this issue with so it is definitely the app.
A Google user
When you get a breaking news alert and click on it, it often comes up with some kind of error message hovering on it. Most of the time you can still read the story anyway although sometimes it will redirect you to log in. But if I go into the app and look up the same story I can read it just fine. Other than this problem with the alerts no complaints.
