For the most part works very, very well. Sometimes when selecting text in a scanned old book, it doesn't do well selecting text on multiple lines. On the same page, different location, it selects correctly. It may be the pdfs that have the problem. Nonetheless, this is my favorite PDF reader and annotator.

This is by far the best PDF viewer I have ever used (and I tried quite a few before I found Xodo). I've been using it for over 3 years now and highly recommend it to anyone needing a PDF reader. Zero ads, straightforward functionality, tons of features including highlighting, annotations, comments, drawing, handwriting, and more. I love the search in document function and the easy to use table of contents support. And all of this for free!

Looks good, but a couple of factors send me back to Foxit Mobile for the moment, but I will be checking back. The first one was my search for an option (paid or otherwise) to edit the content of an imported pdf file. A lot of reviews indicated that Xodo could do this, but, as far as I can determine, the only options are to add and edit annotations and markups to existing pages. The second one is that "Word Wrap" is mandatory for my aging eyes, but, when I finally found how to toggle word wrap on, the app immediately crashed (Android 8.0 on a Moto G6) Again, I will check back... Most apps that ask for a review tend to keep things good until they ask, then become absolutely terrible. However, this is one app that stayed really nice. It supports having multiple PDFs at once and keeps your place saved on every one that you keep open. It also loads much faster than most other apps I used, as well as giving the option to use any indexes the file may have or allowing you to manually select a page, which are both absent on most readers.

Really great app for reading and annotating pdfs. I use it with Box and can work on my offline files, which get automatically uploaded to the cloud. One small annoyance is that the read aloud feature (which I use heavily) requires me to manually highlight the text. That's a pain when reading an entire chapter or book. I wish there were an option to read the page, read from the cursor location, or select all to quickly highlight all the text on the page. That would make it perfect for me.

NO ADS! Xodo is perfect, I have been using it for a few months to try and find issues. I have found ZERO issues! Edit, Create, pick up where you left off, text-to-speech, you can do searches on words to find definitions, even connects to google drive. Don't pay for a similar app when this is free, this is the best editor/reader I've used, so be thankful its free, and enjoy. Big thanks to the developer/ers for blessing us with this tool.

This used to be a favorite app: It's very fast, and it provides not just a one-item-at-a-time search, but also a show-all-hits search. However, some time ago open files started getting closed at unpredictable times with "Access permission error: Try to open this file from the original location again"; and more recently, the app limits me to 3 open tabs at once. (Exceeding the 3 tab limit isn't sufficient reason for me to subscribe to the Pro version.) This is very disappointing.

Very nice app! Love the ability to add and delete pages. I have a huge collection of out of copyright books and a few have had pages that had somehow been scanned and uploaded with a few pages out of order. I was able to fix them with this app. UPDATE: Been using it for a cpl yrs now and still impressed. Use it to save webpages on my phone. Most of the time it's able to include the actual webpage address in the text from embedded links which is super nice. Please keep that feature!

The 2/12/21 update was very disappointing. Removing the ability to have a print button in the task bar is a real inconvenience. Also, changing the window header & footer from blue to white makes the page way too bright. I'll just have to try a different app. This is a case of the developer changing things just for the sake of change, not improvement.

I waited before writing a review so I could actually experience the app, I've been using it for over 6 months now. I use it to survey projects I am working on, I can take a 48"x36" set of plans and not have to fumble around with a large sheet of paper as it is right there in my hand in my phone. The ability to zoom in and make notes directly on the plans is so helpful, especially since my phone has a stylus built in. GREAT JOB XODO TEAM!

I'm going to start off by admitting that I have done exactly ZERO editing with this, but it is far and away the best reader I've ever had. Right to left support, different color and lighting options, rotations, everything under the sun. If you can think of it, the devs have too. And it's all so accessible! Super easy to use while still giving you all the power to shape your reading experience.

Great organization, layout, simplicity, and design. Wonderful app. Can be a bit finicky at times, though, when editing, annotating, etc. But overall a great app. I much prefer Xodo to the regular PDF viewers. The best thing is the ability view pages left to right like an ebook reader. You can scroll up a down if you want to, but that was the main feature that I was personlly looking for. That, and the ability to highlight/underline content.

I came to this app after a number of unpleasant experiences with competing products that claim to be able to edit PDFs. The number one problem was that I would end up with artifacts or it was really clunky to do really simple things like Ed Pages or make minor changes to an existing document. After trying this app on my phone I found it just as good on the PC. I love that I can type, write, add or remove pages. And I don't end up with the weird rendering issues and artifacts.

This rating is for the most recent version that came out in February 2021. The interface is relatively larger (I use a Samsung S20) and takes up a lot of the space. There is a lot of dead space at the top (where tab number shows). The new version is also not as responsive to touch as the older version was when switching between full view and tool bar view. I reverted to the previous version via apk due to the inconveniences.

I'm using it to read .pdf sheet music files on my Samsung Tab S5e. I like the fact that the .pdf files can be easily scaled to fit the screen in both portrait and landscape mode. It works very nicely and it's one of the few apps or computer programs that doesn't have short comings. I can't speak about other Android .pdf readers, but this one is excellent for my purposes.

Been pretty smooth. Able to use it for a lot of things. From making forms fillible to easy file management. It still has a few glitches. Sometimes when you fill something out it still looks blank untill you double tap to zoom in and out then it shows up in the box. Another is opening and closing app sometimes pulls up documents that you have already closed.

This app is fantastic on my Galaxy since I use it for school. I can add notes and export segments of books and have both open. This is great for referring to the book while looking at the homework questions. When I add a book, it adds the table of contents and uses the right page numbers. It actually uses special page numbers for the covers, appendices, indexes, glossaries, etc. I can bookmark pages. When I open a document, it picks up where I left off.

I think this app would be much better if I could connect it with my other devices, but instead, I have to save everything to a cloud (OneDrive, in my case) and download it every single time I want to edit it. Since I'm using this for a digital homeschool planner, that makes things tricky. If Xodo Connect was still available for apps, of if the web version could be used on mobile devices, it probably wouldn't be an issue (but I have no idea, since I'm not able to try that feature).
